| 1 [3:118] | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoola tattakhithoo bitanatan min doonikum laya/loonakum khabalan waddoo ma AAanittum qad badatialbaghdao min afwahihim wama tukhfee sudooruhumakbaru qad bayyanna lakumu al-ayati inkuntum taAAqiloona |  يا أيها الذين آمنوا لا تتخذوا بطانة من دونكم لا يألونكم خبالا ودوا ما عنتم قد بدت البغضاء من أفواههم وما تخفي صدورهم أكبر قد بينا لكم الآيات إن كنتم تعقلونيَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ لاَ تَتَّخِذُواْ بِطَانَةً مِّن دُونِكُمْ لاَ يَأْلُونَكُمْ خَبَالاً وَدُّواْ مَا عَنِتُّمْ قَدْ بَدَتِ الْبَغْضَاءُ مِنْ أَفْوَاهِهِمْ وَمَا تُخْفِي صُدُورُهُمْ أَكْبَرُ قَدْ بَيَّنَّا لَكُمُ الْآيَاتِ إِن كُنتُمْ تَعْقِلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |يا - O| أيها - O you| الذين - who| آمنوا - believe[d]!| لا - (Do) not| تتخذوا - take| بطانة - (as) intimates| من - from| دونكم - other than yourselves,| لا - not| يألونكم - they will spare you| خبالا - (any) ruin.| ودوا - They wish| ما - what| عنتم - distresses you.| قد - Indeed,| بدت - (has become) apparent| البغضاء - the hatred| من - from| أفواههم - their mouths,| وما - and what| تخفي - conceals| صدورهم - their breasts| أكبر - (is) greater.| قد - Certainly| بينا - We made clear| لكم - for you| الآيات - the Verses,| إن - if| كنتم - you were| تعقلون - (to use) reason.| | ||||||
| 2 [4:89] | Waddoo law takfuroona kama kafaroofatakoonoona sawaan fala tattakhithoo minhumawliyaa hatta yuhajiroo fee sabeeliAllahi fa-in tawallaw fakhuthoohum waoqtuloohumhaythu wajadtumoohum wala tattakhithoominhum waliyyan wala naseeran | ودوا لو تكفرون كما كفروا فتكونون سواء فلا تتخذوا منهم أولياء حتى يهاجروا في سبيل الله فإن تولوا فخذوهم واقتلوهم حيث وجدتموهم ولا تتخذوا منهم وليا ولا نصيرا وَدُّواْ لَوْ تَكْفُرُونَ كَمَا كَفَرُواْ فَتَكُونُونَ سَوَاءً فَلاَ تَتَّخِذُواْ مِنْهُمْ أَوْلِيَاءَ حَتَّى يُهَاجِرُواْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللّهِ فَإِن تَوَلَّوْاْ فَخُذُوهُمْ وَاقْتُلُوهُمْ حَيْثُ وَجَدتُّمُوهُمْ وَلاَ تَتَّخِذُواْ مِنْهُمْ وَلِيًّا وَلاَ نَصِيرًا | |||||
| Words | |ودوا - They wish| لو - if| تكفرون - you disbelieve| كما - as| كفروا - they disbelieved| فتكونون - and you would be| سواء - alike.| فلا - So (do) not| تتخذوا - take| منهم - from them| أولياء - allies| حتى - until| يهاجروا - they emigrate| في - in| سبيل - (the) way| الله - (of) Allah.| فإن - But if| تولوا - they turn back,| فخذوهم - seize them| واقتلوهم - and kill them| حيث - wherever| وجدتموهم - you find them.| ولا - And (do) not| تتخذوا - take| منهم - from them| وليا - any ally| ولا - and not| نصيرا - any helper,| | ||||||
| 3 [68:9] | Waddoo law tudhinu fayudhinoona | ودوا لو تدهن فيدهنون وَدُّوا لَوْ تُدْهِنُ فَيُدْهِنُونَ | |||||
