| 1 [9:120] | Ma kana li-ahli almadeenatiwaman hawlahum mina al-aAArabi an yatakhallafooAAan rasooli Allahi wala yarghaboo bi-anfusihimAAan nafsihi thalika bi-annahum la yuseebuhumthamaon wala nasabun walamakhmasatun fee sabeeli Allahi wala yataoonamawti-an yagheethu alkuffara walayanaloona min AAaduwwin naylan illa kutiba lahumbihi AAamalun salihun inna Allaha layudeeAAu ajra almuhsineena |  ما كان لأهل المدينة ومن حولهم من الأعراب أن يتخلفوا عن رسول الله ولا يرغبوا بأنفسهم عن نفسه ذلك بأنهم لا يصيبهم ظمأ ولا نصب ولا مخمصة في سبيل الله ولا يطئون موطئا يغيظ الكفار ولا ينالون من عدو نيلا إلا كتب لهم به عمل صالح إن الله لا يضيع أجر المحسنينمَا كَانَ لِأَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ وَمَنْ حَوْلَهُم مِّنَ الْأَعْرَابِ أَن يَتَخَلَّفُواْ عَن رَّسُولِ اللّهِ وَلاَ يَرْغَبُواْ بِأَنفُسِهِمْ عَن نَّفْسِهِ ذَلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ لاَ يُصِيبُهُمْ ظَمَأٌ وَلاَ نَصَبٌ وَلاَ مَخْمَصَةٌ فِي سَبِيلِ اللّهِ وَلاَ يَطَؤُونَ مَوْطِئًا يَغِيظُ الْكُفَّارَ وَلاَ يَنَالُونَ مِنْ عَدُوٍّ نَّيْلاً إِلاَّ كُتِبَ لَهُم بِهِ عَمَلٌ صَالِحٌ إِنَّ اللّهَ لاَ يُضِيعُ أَجْرَ الْمُحْسِنِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ما - Not| كان - it was| لأهل - (for) the people| المدينة - of the Madinah| ومن - and who| حولهم - were around them| من - of| الأعراب - the bedouins,| أن - that| يتخلفوا - they remain behind| عن - after| رسول - the Messenger| الله - of Allah,| ولا - and not| يرغبوا - they prefer| بأنفسهم - their lives| عن - to| نفسه - his life.| ذلك - That is| بأنهم - because [they]| لا - (does) not| يصيبهم - afflict them| ظمأ - thirst| ولا - and not| نصب - fatigue| ولا - and not| مخمصة - hunger| في - in| سبيل - (the) way| الله - (of) Allah,| ولا - and not| يطئون - they step| موطئا - any step| يغيظ - that angers| الكفار - the disbelievers| ولا - and not| ينالون - they inflict| من - on| عدو - an enemy| نيلا - an infliction| إلا - except| كتب - is recorded| لهم - for them| به - in it| عمل - (as) a deed| صالح - righteous.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| لا - (does) not| يضيع - allow to be lost| أجر - the reward| المحسنين - (of) the good-doers.| | ||||||
| 2 [15:48] | La yamassuhum feeha nasabunwama hum minha bimukhrajeena | لا يمسهم فيها نصب وما هم منها بمخرجين لاَ يَمَسُّهُمْ فِيهَا نَصَبٌ وَمَا هُم مِّنْهَا بِمُخْرَجِينَ | |||||

| 3 [35:35] | Allathee ahallana daraalmuqamati min fadlihi la yamassunafeeha nasabun wala yamassuna feehalughoobun | الذي أحلنا دار المقامة من فضله لا يمسنا فيها نصب ولا يمسنا فيها لغوب الَّذِي أَحَلَّنَا دَارَ الْمُقَامَةِ مِن فَضْلِهِ لَا يَمَسُّنَا فِيهَا نَصَبٌ وَلَا يَمَسُّنَا فِيهَا لُغُوبٌ | |||||

| 4 [70:43] | Yawma yakhrujoona mina al-ajdathi siraAAankaannahum ila nusubin yoofidoona | يوم يخرجون من الأجداث سراعا كأنهم إلى نصب يوفضون يَوْمَ يَخْرُجُونَ مِنَ الْأَجْدَاثِ سِرَاعًا كَأَنَّهُمْ إِلَى نُصُبٍ يُوفِضُونَ | |||||
