| 1 [3:146] | Wakaayyin min nabiyyin qatalamaAAahu ribbiyyoona katheerun fama wahanoo lima asabahumfee sabeeli Allahi wama daAAufoo wamaistakanoo waAllahu yuhibbu alssabireena |  وكأين من نبي قاتل معه ربيون كثير فما وهنوا لما أصابهم في سبيل الله وما ضعفوا وما استكانوا والله يحب الصابرينوَكَأَيِّن مِّن نَّبِيٍّ قَاتَلَ مَعَهُ رِبِّيُّونَ كَثِيرٌ فَمَا وَهَنُواْ لِمَا أَصَابَهُمْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللّهِ وَمَا ضَعُفُواْ وَمَا اسْتَكَانُواْ وَاللّهُ يُحِبُّ الصَّابِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وكأين - And how many| من - from| نبي - a Prophet| قاتل - fought;| معه - with him| ربيون - (were) religious scholars| كثير - many.| فما - But not| وهنوا - they lost heart| لما - for what| أصابهم - befell them| في - in| سبيل - (the) way| الله - (of) Allah| وما - and not| ضعفوا - they weakened| وما - and not| استكانوا - they gave in.| والله - And Allah| يحب - loves| الصابرين - the patient ones.| | ||||||
| 2 [6:112] | Wakathalika jaAAalna likullinabiyyin AAaduwwan shayateena al-insi waaljinni yooheebaAAduhum ila baAAdin zukhrufa alqawlighurooran walaw shaa rabbuka ma faAAaloohu fatharhumwama yaftaroona | وكذلك جعلنا لكل نبي عدوا شياطين الإنس والجن يوحي بعضهم إلى بعض زخرف القول غرورا ولو شاء ربك ما فعلوه فذرهم وما يفترون وَكَذَلِكَ جَعَلْنَا لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ عَدُوًّا شَيَاطِينَ الْإِنسِ وَالْجِنِّ يُوحِي بَعْضُهُمْ إِلَى بَعْضٍ زُخْرُفَ الْقَوْلِ غُرُورًا وَلَوْ شَاءَ رَبُّكَ مَا فَعَلُوهُ فَذَرْهُمْ وَمَا يَفْتَرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وكذلك - And thus| جعلنا - We made| لكل - for every| نبي - Prophet| عدوا - an enemy -| شياطين - devils| الإنس - (from) the mankind| والجن - and the jinn,| يوحي - inspiring| بعضهم - some of them| إلى - to| بعض - others| زخرف - (with) decorative| القول - [the] speech| غرورا - (in) deception.| ولو - But if| شاء - (had) willed| ربك - your Lord| ما - not| فعلوه - they (would) have done it,| فذرهم - so leave them| وما - and what| يفترون - they invent.| | ||||||
| 3 [7:94] | Wama arsalna fee qaryatin minnabiyyin illa akhathna ahlaha bialba/sa-iwaalddarra-i laAAallahum yaddarraAAoona | وما أرسلنا في قرية من نبي إلا أخذنا أهلها بالبأساء والضراء لعلهم يضرعون وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَا فِي قَرْيَةٍ مِّن نَّبِيٍّ إِلاَّ أَخَذْنَا أَهْلَهَا بِالْبَأْسَاءِ وَالضَّرَّاءِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَضَّرَّعُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وما - And not| أرسلنا - We sent| في - in| قرية - a city| من - any| نبي - Prophet| إلا - except| أخذنا - We seized| أهلها - its people| بالبأساء - with adversity| والضراء - and hardship,| لعلهم - so that they may| يضرعون - (become) humble.| | ||||||
| 4 [22:52] | Wama arsalna min qablika minrasoolin wala nabiyyin illa itha tamannaalqa alshshaytanu fee omniyyatihi fayansakhuAllahu ma yulqee alshshaytanu thummayuhkimu Allahu ayatihi waAllahuAAaleemun hakeemun | وما أرسلنا من قبلك من رسول ولا نبي إلا إذا تمنى ألقى الشيطان في أمنيته فينسخ الله ما يلقي الشيطان ثم يحكم الله آياته والله عليم حكيم وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَا مِن قَبْلِكَ مِن رَّسُولٍ وَلَا نَبِيٍّ إِلَّا إِذَا تَمَنَّى أَلْقَى الشَّيْطَانُ فِي أُمْنِيَّتِهِ فَيَنسَخُ اللَّهُ مَا يُلْقِي الشَّيْطَانُ ثُمَّ يُحْكِمُ اللَّهُ آيَاتِهِ وَاللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |وما - And not| أرسلنا - We sent| من - before you| قبلك - before you| من - any| رسول - Messenger| ولا - and not| نبي - a Prophet| إلا - but| إذا - when| تمنى - he recited,| ألقى - threw| الشيطان - the Shaitaan| في - in| أمنيته - his recitation.| فينسخ - But Allah abolishes| الله - But Allah abolishes| ما - what| يلقي - throws| الشيطان - the Shaitaan,| ثم - then| يحكم - Allah will establish| الله - Allah will establish| آياته - His Verses.| والله - And Allah| عليم - (is) All-Knower,| حكيم - All-Wise.| | ||||||
| 5 [25:31] | Wakathalika jaAAalna likullinabiyyin AAaduwwan mina almujrimeena wakafa birabbika hadiyanwanaseeran | وكذلك جعلنا لكل نبي عدوا من المجرمين وكفى بربك هاديا ونصيرا وَكَذَلِكَ جَعَلْنَا لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ عَدُوًّا مِّنَ الْمُجْرِمِينَ وَكَفَى بِرَبِّكَ هَادِيًا وَنَصِيرًا | |||||
| Words | |وكذلك - And thus| جعلنا - We have made| لكل - for every| نبي - Prophet| عدوا - an enemy,| من - among| المجرمين - the criminals.| وكفى - But sufficient is| بربك - your Lord,| هاديا - (as) a Guide| ونصيرا - and a Helper.| | ||||||
| 6 [43:6] | Wakam arsalna min nabiyyin feeal-awwaleena | وكم أرسلنا من نبي في الأولين وَكَمْ أَرْسَلْنَا مِن نَّبِيٍّ فِي الْأَوَّلِينَ | |||||

| 7 [43:7] | Wama ya/teehim min nabiyyin illakanoo bihi yastahzi-oona | وما يأتيهم من نبي إلا كانوا به يستهزئون وَمَا يَأْتِيهِم مِّن نَّبِيٍّ إِلَّا كَانُوا بِهِ يَسْتَهْزِؤُون | |||||
