| 1 [2:240] | Waallatheena yutawaffawnaminkum wayatharoona azwajan wasiyyatanli-azwajihim mataAAan ila alhawlighayra ikhrajin fa-in kharajna fala junahaAAalaykum fee ma faAAalna fee anfusihinna min maAAroofinwaAllahu AAazeezun hakeemun |  والذين يتوفون منكم ويذرون أزواجا وصية لأزواجهم متاعا إلى الحول غير إخراج فإن خرجن فلا جناح عليكم في ما فعلن في أنفسهن من معروف والله عزيز حكيموَالَّذِينَ يُتَوَفَّوْنَ مِنكُمْ وَيَذَرُونَ أَزْوَاجًا وَصِيَّةً لِّأَزْوَاجِهِم مَّتَاعًا إِلَى الْحَوْلِ غَيْرَ إِخْرَاجٍ فَإِنْ خَرَجْنَ فَلاَ جُنَاحَ عَلَيْكُمْ فِي مَا فَعَلْنَ فِيَ أَنفُسِهِنَّ مِن مَّعْرُوفٍ وَاللّهُ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |والذين - And those who| يتوفون - die| منكم - among you| ويذرون - and leave behind| أزواجا - (their) wives| وصية - (should make) a will| لأزواجهم - for their wives,| متاعا - provision| إلى - for| الحول - the year| غير - without| إخراج - driving (them) out.| فإن - But if| خرجن - they leave| فلا - then no| جناح - blame| عليكم - upon you| في - in| ما - what| فعلن - they do| في - concerning| أنفسهن - themselves| من - [of]| معروف - honorably.| والله - And Allah| عزيز - (is) All-Mighty,| حكيم - All-Wise.| | ||||||
| 2 [2:263] | Qawlun maAAroofun wamaghfiratun khayrun minsadaqatin yatbaAAuha athan waAllahughaniyyun haleemun | قول معروف ومغفرة خير من صدقة يتبعها أذى والله غني حليم قَوْلٌ مَّعْرُوفٌ وَمَغْفِرَةٌ خَيْرٌ مِّن صَدَقَةٍ يَتْبَعُهَآ أَذًى وَاللّهُ غَنِيٌّ حَلِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |قول - A word| معروف - kind| ومغفرة - and (seeking) forgiveness| خير - (are) better| من - than| صدقة - a charity| يتبعها - followed [it]| أذى - (by) hurt.| والله - And Allah| غني - (is) All-Sufficient,| حليم - All-Forbearing.| | ||||||
| 3 [4:114] | La khayra fee katheerin min najwahumilla man amara bisadaqatin aw maAAroofin aw islahinbayna alnnasi waman yafAAal thalika ibtighaamardati Allahi fasawfa nu/teehi ajran AAatheeman | لا خير في كثير من نجواهم إلا من أمر بصدقة أو معروف أو إصلاح بين الناس ومن يفعل ذلك ابتغاء مرضات الله فسوف نؤتيه أجرا عظيما لاَّ خَيْرَ فِي كَثِيرٍ مِّن نَّجْوَاهُمْ إِلاَّ مَنْ أَمَرَ بِصَدَقَةٍ أَوْ مَعْرُوفٍ أَوْ إِصْلاَحٍ بَيْنَ النَّاسِ وَمَن يَفْعَلْ ذَلِكَ ابْتِغَاءَ مَرْضَاتِ اللّهِ فَسَوْفَ نُؤْتِيهِ أَجْرًا عَظِيمًا | |||||
| Words | |لا - (There is) no| خير - good| في - in| كثير - much| من - of| نجواهم - their secret talk| إلا - except| من - (he) who| أمر - orders| بصدقة - charity| أو - or| معروف - kindness| أو - or| إصلاح - conciliation| بين - between| الناس - the people.| ومن - And who| يفعل - does| ذلك - that| ابتغاء - seeking| مرضات - pleasure| الله - (of) Allah| فسوف - then soon| نؤتيه - We will give him| أجرا - a reward| عظيما - great.| | ||||||
| 4 [47:21] | TaAAatun waqawlun maAAroofun fa-ithaAAazama al-amru falaw sadaqoo Allaha lakanakhayran lahum | طاعة وقول معروف فإذا عزم الأمر فلو صدقوا الله لكان خيرا لهم طَاعَةٌ وَقَوْلٌ مَّعْرُوفٌ فَإِذَا عَزَمَ الْأَمْرُ فَلَوْ صَدَقُوا اللَّهَ لَكَانَ خَيْرًا لَّهُمْ | |||||
| Words | |طاعة - (Is) obedience| وقول - and a word| معروف - kind.| فإذا - And when| عزم - (is) determined| الأمر - the matter,| فلو - then if| صدقوا - they had been true| الله - (to) Allah,| لكان - surely, it would have been| خيرا - better| لهم - for them.| | ||||||
| 5 [60:12] | Ya ayyuha alnnabiyyu ithajaaka almu/minatu yubayiAAnaka AAalaan la yushrikna biAllahi shay-an walayasriqna wala yazneena wala yaqtulna awladahunnawala ya/teena bibuhtanin yaftareenahu baynaaydeehinna waarjulihinna wala yaAAseenaka feemaAAroofin fabayiAAhunna waistaghfir lahunna Allahainna Allaha ghafoorun raheemun | يا أيها النبي إذا جاءك المؤمنات يبايعنك على أن لا يشركن بالله شيئا ولا يسرقن ولا يزنين ولا يقتلن أولادهن ولا يأتين ببهتان يفترينه بين أيديهن وأرجلهن ولا يعصينك في معروف فبايعهن واستغفر لهن الله إن الله غفور رحيم يَا أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ إِذَا جَاءَكَ الْمُؤْمِنَاتُ يُبَايِعْنَكَ عَلَى أَن لَّا يُشْرِكْنَ بِاللَّهِ شَيْئًا وَلَا يَسْرِقْنَ وَلَا يَزْنِينَ وَلَا يَقْتُلْنَ أَوْلَادَهُنَّ وَلَا يَأْتِينَ بِبُهْتَانٍ يَفْتَرِينَهُ بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِنَّ وَأَرْجُلِهِنَّ وَلَا يَعْصِينَكَ فِي مَعْرُوفٍ فَبَايِعْهُنَّ وَاسْتَغْفِرْ لَهُنَّ اللَّهَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |يا - O| أيها - O| النبي - Prophet!| إذا - When| جاءك - come to you| المؤمنات - the believing women| يبايعنك - pledging to you| على - [on]| أن - that| لا - not| يشركن - they will associate| بالله - with Allah| شيئا - anything,| ولا - and not| يسرقن - they will steal,| ولا - and not| يزنين - they will commit adultery,| ولا - and not| يقتلن - they will kill| أولادهن - their children,| ولا - and not| يأتين - they bring| ببهتان - slander,| يفترينه - they invent it| بين - between| أيديهن - their hands| وأرجلهن - and their feet,| ولا - and not| يعصينك - they will disobey you| في - in| معروف - (the) right,| فبايعهن - then accept their pledge| واستغفر - and ask forgiveness| لهن - for them| الله - (from) Allah.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| غفور - (is) Oft-Forgiving,| رحيم - Most Merciful.| | ||||||
