| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[47:21] | TaAAatun waqawlun maAAroofun fa-ithaAAazama al-amru falaw sadaqoo Allaha lakanakhayran lahum
|  طاعة وقول معروف فإذا عزم الأمر فلو صدقوا الله لكان خيرا لهم
طَاعَةٌ وَقَوْلٌ مَّعْرُوفٌ فَإِذَا عَزَمَ الْأَمْرُ فَلَوْ صَدَقُوا اللَّهَ لَكَانَ خَيْرًا لَّهُمْ |
| Words | |طاعة - (Is) obedience| وقول - and a word| معروف - kind.| فإذا - And when| عزم - (is) determined| الأمر - the matter,| فلو - then if| صدقوا - they had been true| الله - (to) Allah,| لكان - surely, it would have been| خيرا - better| لهم - for them.| |

| ታዛዥነትና መልካም ንግግር (ይሻላቸዋል) ትዕዛዙም ቁርጥ በኾነ ጊዜ ለአላህ (ትዕዛዝ) እውነተኞች በኾኑ ኖሮ ለእነርሱ የተሻለ በኾነ ነበር፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { طاعة وقول معروف } أي حسن لك { فإذا عزم الأمر } أي فرض القتال { فلو صدقوا الله } في الإيمان والطاعة { لكان خيرا لهم } وجملة لو جواب إذا . |

| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | তাদের আনুগত্য ও মিষ্ট বাক্য জানা আছে। অতএব, জেহাদের সিন্ধান্ত হলে যদি তারা আল্লাহর প্রতি পদত্ত অংগীকার পূর্ণ করে, তবে তাদের জন্যে তা মঙ্গলজনক হবে। |
| Literal | Obedience and a generous word/opinion and belief , so if the matter/affair (was) determined/decided , so if they were truthful (to) God (it) would have been better for them. |
| Yusuf Ali | Were it to obey and say what is just, and when a matter is resolved on, it were best for them if they were true to Allah. |
| Pickthal | Obedience and a civil word. Then, when the matter is determined, if they are loyal to Allah it will be well for them. |
