| 1 [6:146] | WaAAala allatheena hadooharramna kulla thee thufurinwamina albaqari waalghanami harramnaAAalayhim shuhoomahuma illa ma hamalatthuhooruhuma awi alhawayaaw ma ikhtalata biAAathmin thalikajazaynahum bibaghyihim wa-inna lasadiqoona |  وعلى الذين هادوا حرمنا كل ذي ظفر ومن البقر والغنم حرمنا عليهم شحومهما إلا ما حملت ظهورهما أو الحوايا أو ما اختلط بعظم ذلك جزيناهم ببغيهم وإنا لصادقونوَعَلَى الَّذِينَ هَادُواْ حَرَّمْنَا كُلَّ ذِي ظُفُرٍ وَمِنَ الْبَقَرِ وَالْغَنَمِ حَرَّمْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ شُحُومَهُمَا إِلاَّ مَا حَمَلَتْ ظُهُورُهُمَا أَوِ الْحَوَايَا أَوْ مَا اخْتَلَطَ بِعَظْمٍ ذَلِكَ جَزَيْنَاهُم بِبَغْيِهِمْ وِإِنَّا لَصَادِقُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وعلى - And to| الذين - those who| هادوا - are Jews| حرمنا - We forbade| كل - every| ذي - (animal) with| ظفر - claws,| ومن - and of| البقر - the cows| والغنم - and the sheep| حرمنا - We forbade| عليهم - to them| شحومهما - their fat| إلا - except| ما - what| حملت - carried| ظهورهما - their backs| أو - or| الحوايا - the entrails| أو - or| ما - what| اختلط - (is) joined| بعظم - with the bone.| ذلك - That| جزيناهم - (is) their recompense| ببغيهم - for their rebellion.| وإنا - And indeed, We| لصادقون - [surely] are truthful.| | ||||||
| 2 [12:82] | Wais-ali alqaryata allatee kunnafeeha waalAAeera allatee aqbalna feehawa-inna lasadiqoona | واسأل القرية التي كنا فيها والعير التي أقبلنا فيها وإنا لصادقون وَاسْأَلِ الْقَرْيَةَ الَّتِي كُنَّا فِيهَا وَالْعِيْرَ الَّتِي أَقْبَلْنَا فِيهَا وَإِنَّا لَصَادِقُونَ | |||||
| Words | |واسأل - And ask| القرية - the town| التي - where| كنا - we were| فيها - [in it],| والعير - and the caravan| التي - which| أقبلنا - we returned| فيها - [in it].| وإنا - And indeed, we| لصادقون - surely (are) truthful.'"| | ||||||
| 3 [15:64] | Waataynaka bialhaqqiwa-inna lasadiqoona | وأتيناك بالحق وإنا لصادقون وَأَتَيْنَاكَ بَالْحَقِّ وَإِنَّا لَصَادِقُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وأتيناك - And we have come to you| بالحق - with the truth,| وإنا - and indeed, we| لصادقون - surely (are) truthful.| | ||||||
| 4 [27:49] | Qaloo taqasamoo biAllahilanubayyitannahu waahlahu thumma lanaqoolanna liwaliyyihi mashahidna mahlika ahlihi wa-inna lasadiqoona | قالوا تقاسموا بالله لنبيتنه وأهله ثم لنقولن لوليه ما شهدنا مهلك أهله وإنا لصادقون قَالُوا تَقَاسَمُوا بِاللَّهِ لَنُبَيِّتَنَّهُ وَأَهْلَهُ ثُمَّ لَنَقُولَنَّ لِوَلِيِّهِ مَا شَهِدْنَا مَهْلِكَ أَهْلِهِ وَإِنَّا لَصَادِقُونَ | |||||
| Words | |قالوا - They said,| تقاسموا - "Swear to each other| بالله - by Allah| لنبيتنه - surely, we will attack him by night,| وأهله - and his family.| ثم - Then| لنقولن - we will surely say| لوليه - to his heir,| ما - "Not| شهدنا - we witnessed| مهلك - (the) destruction| أهله - (of) his family,| وإنا - and indeed, we| لصادقون - (are) surely truthful."| | ||||||
