| 1 [2:216] | Kutiba AAalaykumu alqitalu wahuwakurhun lakum waAAasa an takrahoo shay-an wahuwa khayrunlakum waAAasa an tuhibboo shay-an wahuwa sharrunlakum waAllahu yaAAlamu waantum lataAAlamoona |  كتب عليكم القتال وهو كره لكم وعسى أن تكرهوا شيئا وهو خير لكم وعسى أن تحبوا شيئا وهو شر لكم والله يعلم وأنتم لا تعلمونكُتِبَ عَلَيْكُمُ الْقِتَالُ وَهُوَ كُرْهٌ لَّكُمْ وَعَسَى أَن تَكْرَهُواْ شَيْئًا وَهُوَ خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ وَعَسَى أَن تُحِبُّواْ شَيْئًا وَهُوَ شَرٌّ لَّكُمْ وَاللّهُ يَعْلَمُ وَأَنتُمْ لاَ تَعْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |كتب - Is prescribed| عليكم - upon you| القتال - [the] fighting| وهو - while it| كره - (is) hateful| لكم - to you.| وعسى - But perhaps| أن - [that]| تكرهوا - you dislike| شيئا - a thing| وهو - and it| خير - (is) good| لكم - for you;| وعسى - and perhaps| أن - [that]| تحبوا - you love| شيئا - a thing| وهو - and it| شر - (is) bad| لكم - for you.| والله - And Allah| يعلم - knows| وأنتم - while you| لا - (do) not| تعلمون - know.| | ||||||
| 2 [8:8] | Liyuhiqqa alhaqqa wayubtilaalbatila walaw kariha almujrimoona | ليحق الحق ويبطل الباطل ولو كره المجرمون لِيُحِقَّ الْحَقَّ وَيُبْطِلَ الْبَاطِلَ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ الْمُجْرِمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ليحق - That He might justify| الحق - the truth| ويبطل - and prove false| الباطل - the falsehood,| ولو - even if| كره - disliked (it)| المجرمون - the criminals.| | ||||||
| 3 [9:32] | Yureedoona an yutfi-oo noora Allahibi-afwahihim waya/ba Allahu illa anyutimma noorahu walaw kariha alkafiroona | يريدون أن يطفئوا نور الله بأفواههم ويأبى الله إلا أن يتم نوره ولو كره الكافرون يُرِيدُونَ أَن يُطْفِؤُواْ نُورَ اللّهِ بِأَفْوَاهِهِمْ وَيَأْبَى اللّهُ إِلاَّ أَن يُتِمَّ نُورَهُ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ الْكَافِرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |يريدون - They want| أن - to| يطفئوا - extinguish| نور - Allah's light| الله - Allah's light| بأفواههم - with their mouths,| ويأبى - but Allah refuses| الله - but Allah refuses| إلا - except| أن - to| يتم - perfect| نوره - His Light| ولو - even if| كره - the disbelievers dislike (it).| الكافرون - the disbelievers dislike (it).| | ||||||
| 4 [9:33] | Huwa allathee arsala rasoolahu bialhudawadeeni alhaqqi liyuthhirahu AAala alddeenikullihi walaw kariha almushrikoona | هو الذي أرسل رسوله بالهدى ودين الحق ليظهره على الدين كله ولو كره المشركون هُوَ الَّذِي أَرْسَلَ رَسُولَهُ بِالْهُدَى وَدِينِ الْحَقِّ لِيُظْهِرَهُ عَلَى الدِّينِ كُلِّهِ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ الْمُشْرِكُونَ | |||||
| Words | |هو - He| الذي - (is) the One Who| أرسل - has sent| رسوله - His Messenger| بالهدى - with the guidance| ودين - and the religion| الحق - (of) [the] truth,| ليظهره - to manifest it| على - over| الدين - all religions.| كله - all religions.| ولو - Even if| كره - dislike (it)| المشركون - the polytheists.| | ||||||
| 5 [9:46] | Walaw aradoo alkhurooja laaAAaddoolahu AAuddatan walakin kariha Allahu inbiAAathahumfathabbatahum waqeela oqAAudoo maAAa alqaAAideena | ولو أرادوا الخروج لأعدوا له عدة ولكن كره الله انبعاثهم فثبطهم وقيل اقعدوا مع القاعدين وَلَوْ أَرَادُواْ الْخُرُوجَ لَأَعَدُّواْ لَهُ عُدَّةً وَلَـكِن كَرِهَ اللّهُ انبِعَاثَهُمْ فَثَبَّطَهُمْ وَقِيلَ اقْعُدُواْ مَعَ الْقَاعِدِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ولو - And if| أرادوا - they had wished| الخروج - (to) go forth,| لأعدوا - surely they (would) have prepared| له - for it| عدة - (some) preparation.| ولكن - But| كره - Allah disliked| الله - Allah disliked| انبعاثهم - their being sent,| فثبطهم - so He made them lag behind| وقيل - and it was said,| اقعدوا - "Sit| مع - with| القاعدين - those who sit."| | ||||||
| 6 [10:82] | Wayuhiqqu Allahu alhaqqabikalimatihi walaw kariha almujrimoona | ويحق الله الحق بكلماته ولو كره المجرمون وَيُحِقُّ اللّهُ الْحَقَّ بِكَلِمَاتِهِ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ الْمُجْرِمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ويحق - And Allah will establish| الله - And Allah will establish| الحق - the truth| بكلماته - by His words,| ولو - even if| كره - dislike it| المجرمون - the criminals."| | ||||||
| 7 [40:14] | FaodAAoo Allaha mukhliseenalahu alddeena walaw kariha alkafiroona | فادعوا الله مخلصين له الدين ولو كره الكافرون فَادْعُوا اللَّهَ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ الدِّينَ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ الْكَافِرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |فادعوا - So invoke| الله - Allah,| مخلصين - (being) sincere| له - to Him| الدين - (in) the religion,| ولو - even though| كره - dislike (it)| الكافرون - the disbelievers.| | ||||||
| 8 [61:8] | Yureedoona liyutfi-oo noora Allahibi-afwahihim waAllahu mutimmu noorihi walawkariha alkafiroona | يريدون ليطفئوا نور الله بأفواههم والله متم نوره ولو كره الكافرون يُرِيدُونَ لِيُطْفِؤُوا نُورَ اللَّهِ بِأَفْوَاهِهِمْ وَاللَّهُ مُتِمُّ نُورِهِ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ الْكَافِرُونَ | |||||
