| 1 [4:66] | Walaw anna katabna AAalayhimani oqtuloo anfusakum awi okhrujoo min diyarikum mafaAAaloohu illa qaleelun minhum walaw annahum faAAaloo mayooAAathoona bihi lakana khayran lahumwaashadda tathbeetan |  ولو أنا كتبنا عليهم أن اقتلوا أنفسكم أو اخرجوا من دياركم ما فعلوه إلا قليل منهم ولو أنهم فعلوا ما يوعظون به لكان خيرا لهم وأشد تثبيتاوَلَوْ أَنَّا كَتَبْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ أَنِ اقْتُلُواْ أَنفُسَكُمْ أَوِ اخْرُجُواْ مِن دِيَارِكُم مَّا فَعَلُوهُ إِلاَّ قَلِيلٌ مِّنْهُمْ وَلَوْ أَنَّهُمْ فَعَلُواْ مَا يُوعَظُونَ بِهِ لَكَانَ خَيْرًا لَّهُمْ وَأَشَدَّ تَثْبِيتًا | |||||
| Words | |ولو - And if| أنا - [that] We| كتبنا - (had) decreed| عليهم - on them| أن - that,| اقتلوا - "Kill| أنفسكم - yourselves"| أو - or| اخرجوا - "Go forth| من - from| دياركم - your homes,"| ما - not| فعلوه - they would have done it| إلا - except| قليل - a few| منهم - of them.| ولو - But if| أنهم - [that] they| فعلوا - had done| ما - what| يوعظون - they were advised| به - with [it],| لكان - surely (it) would have been| خيرا - better| لهم - for them| وأشد - and stronger| تثبيتا - strengthen(ing).| | ||||||
| 2 [5:32] | Min ajli thalika katabna AAalabanee isra-eela annahu man qatala nafsan bighayri nafsinaw fasadin fee al-ardi fakaannama qatala alnnasajameeAAan waman ahyaha fakaannama ahyaalnnasa jameeAAan walaqad jaat-hum rusulunabialbayyinati thumma inna katheeran minhum baAAda thalikafee al-ardi lamusrifoona | من أجل ذلك كتبنا على بني إسرائيل أنه من قتل نفسا بغير نفس أو فساد في الأرض فكأنما قتل الناس جميعا ومن أحياها فكأنما أحيا الناس جميعا ولقد جاءتهم رسلنا بالبينات ثم إن كثيرا منهم بعد ذلك في الأرض لمسرفون مِنْ أَجْلِ ذَلِكَ كَتَبْنَا عَلَى بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ أَنَّهُ مَن قَتَلَ نَفْسًا بِغَيْرِ نَفْسٍ أَوْ فَسَادٍ فِي الْأَرْضِ فَكَأَنَّمَا قَتَلَ النَّاسَ جَمِيعًا وَمَنْ أَحْيَاهَا فَكَأَنَّمَا أَحْيَا النَّاسَ جَمِيعًا وَلَقَدْ جَاءَتْهُمْ رُسُلُنَا بِالبَيِّنَاتِ ثُمَّ إِنَّ كَثِيرًا مِّنْهُم بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ فِي الْأَرْضِ لَمُسْرِفُونَ | |||||
| Words | |من - From| أجل - time| ذلك - that,| كتبنا - We ordained| على - on| بني - (the) Children| إسرائيل - (of) Israel| أنه - that he| من - who| قتل - kills| نفسا - a soul| بغير - other than| نفس - (for) a soul| أو - or| فساد - (for) spreading corruption| في - in| الأرض - the earth| فكأنما - then (it) is as if| قتل - he has killed| الناس - mankind,| جميعا - all,| ومن - and whoever| أحياها - saves it| فكأنما - then (it) is as if| أحيا - he has saved| الناس - mankind.| جميعا - all.| ولقد - And surely| جاءتهم - came to them| رسلنا - Our Messengers| بالبينات - with clear Signs| ثم - yet,| إن - indeed,| كثيرا - many| منهم - of them| بعد - after| ذلك - that| في - in| الأرض - the earth| لمسرفون - (are) surely those who commit excesses.| | ||||||
| 3 [21:105] | Walaqad katabna fee alzzaboorimin baAAdi alththikri anna al-arda yarithuhaAAibadiya alssalihoona | ولقد كتبنا في الزبور من بعد الذكر أن الأرض يرثها عبادي الصالحون وَلَقَدْ كَتَبْنَا فِي الزَّبُورِ مِن بَعْدِ الذِّكْرِ أَنَّ الْأَرْضَ يَرِثُهَا عِبَادِيَ الصَّالِحُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ولقد - And verily,| كتبنا - We have written| في - in| الزبور - the Scripture| من - after| بعد - after| الذكر - the mention,| أن - that| الأرض - the earth -| يرثها - will inherit it| عبادي - My slaves,| الصالحون - the righteous.| | ||||||
