| 1 [3:145] | Wama kana linafsin an tamootailla bi-ithni Allahi kitabanmu-ajjalan waman yurid thawaba alddunyanu/tihi minha waman yurid thawaba al-akhiratinu/tihi minha wasanajzee alshshakireena |  وما كان لنفس أن تموت إلا بإذن الله كتابا مؤجلا ومن يرد ثواب الدنيا نؤته منها ومن يرد ثواب الآخرة نؤته منها وسنجزي الشاكرينوَمَا كَانَ لِنَفْسٍ أَنْ تَمُوتَ إِلاَّ بِإِذْنِ الله كِتَابًا مُّؤَجَّلاً وَمَن يُرِدْ ثَوَابَ الدُّنْيَا نُؤْتِهِ مِنْهَا وَمَن يُرِدْ ثَوَابَ الْآخِرَةِ نُؤْتِهِ مِنْهَا وَسَنَجْزِي الشَّاكِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وما - And not| كان - is| لنفس - for a soul| أن - that| تموت - he dies| إلا - except| بإذن - by (the) permission| الله - (of) Allah,| كتابا - (at a) decree| مؤجلا - determined.| ومن - And whoever| يرد - desires| ثواب - reward| الدنيا - (of) the world -| نؤته - We will give him| منها - thereof;| ومن - and whoever| يرد - desires| ثواب - reward| الآخرة - (of) the Hereafter| نؤته - We will give him| منها - thereof.| وسنجزي - And We will reward| الشاكرين - the grateful ones.| | ||||||
| 2 [4:103] | Fa-itha qadaytumu alssalatafaothkuroo Allaha qiyaman waquAAoodanwaAAala junoobikum fa-itha itma/nantumfaaqeemoo alssalata inna alssalatakanat AAala almu/mineena kitaban mawqootan | فإذا قضيتم الصلاة فاذكروا الله قياما وقعودا وعلى جنوبكم فإذا اطمأننتم فأقيموا الصلاة إن الصلاة كانت على المؤمنين كتابا موقوتا فَإِذَا قَضَيْتُمُ الصَّلاَةَ فَاذْكُرُواْ اللّهَ قِيَامًا وَقُعُودًا وَعَلَى جُنُوبِكُمْ فَإِذَا اطْمَأْنَنتُمْ فَأَقِيمُواْ الصَّلاَةَ إِنَّ الصَّلاَةَ كَانَتْ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ كِتَابًا مَّوْقُوتًا | |||||
| Words | |فإذا - Then when| قضيتم - you (have) finished| الصلاة - the prayer,| فاذكروا - then remember| الله - Allah| قياما - standing| وقعودا - and sitting| وعلى - and (lying) on| جنوبكم - your sides.| فإذا - But when| اطمأننتم - you are secure| فأقيموا - then establish| الصلاة - the (regular) prayer.| إن - Indeed,| الصلاة - the prayer| كانت - is| على - on| المؤمنين - the believers| كتابا - prescribed| موقوتا - (at) fixed times.| | ||||||
| 3 [4:153] | Yas-aluka ahlu alkitabi an tunazzilaAAalayhim kitaban mina alssama-i faqadsaaloo moosa akbara min thalika faqaloo arinaAllaha jahratan faakhathat-humu alssaAAiqatubithulmihim thumma ittakhathoo alAAijla minbaAAdi ma jaat-humu albayyinatu faAAafawnaAAan thalika waatayna moosa sultananmubeenan | يسألك أهل الكتاب أن تنزل عليهم كتابا من السماء فقد سألوا موسى أكبر من ذلك فقالوا أرنا الله جهرة فأخذتهم الصاعقة بظلمهم ثم اتخذوا العجل من بعد ما جاءتهم البينات فعفونا عن ذلك وآتينا موسى سلطانا مبينا يَسْأَلُكَ أَهْلُ الْكِتَابِ أَن تُنَزِّلَ عَلَيْهِمْ كِتَابًا مِّنَ السَّمَاءِ فَقَدْ سَأَلُواْ مُوسَى أَكْبَرَ مِن ذَلِكَ فَقَالُواْ أَرِنَا اللّهَ جَهْرَةً فَأَخَذَتْهُمُ الصَّاعِقَةُ بِظُلْمِهِمْ ثُمَّ اتَّخَذُواْ الْعِجْلَ مِن بَعْدِ مَا جَاءَتْهُمُ الْبَيِّنَاتُ فَعَفَوْنَا عَن ذَلِكَ وَآتَيْنَا مُوسَى سُلْطَانًا مُّبِينًا | |||||
| Words | |يسألك - Ask you| أهل - (the) People| الكتاب - (of) the Book| أن - that| تنزل - you bring down| عليهم - to them| كتابا - a book| من - from| السماء - the heaven.| فقد - Then indeed,| سألوا - they (had) asked| موسى - Musa| أكبر - greater| من - than| ذلك - that| فقالوا - for they said,| أرنا - "Show us| الله - Allah| جهرة - manifestly,"| فأخذتهم - so struck them| الصاعقة - the thunderbolt| بظلمهم - for their wrongdoing.| ثم - Then| اتخذوا - they took| العجل - the calf (for worship)| من - from| بعد - after| ما - [what]| جاءتهم - came to them| البينات - the clear proofs,| فعفونا - then We forgave them| عن - for| ذلك - that.| وآتينا - And We gave| موسى - Musa| سلطانا - an authority| مبينا - clear.| | ||||||
| 4 [6:7] | Walaw nazzalna AAalayka kitabanfee qirtasin falamasoohu bi-aydeehim laqala allatheenakafaroo in hatha illa sihrun mubeenun | ولو نزلنا عليك كتابا في قرطاس فلمسوه بأيديهم لقال الذين كفروا إن هذا إلا سحر مبين وَلَوْ نَزَّلْنَا عَلَيْكَ كِتَابًا فِي قِرْطَاسٍ فَلَمَسُوهُ بِأَيْدِيهِمْ لَقَالَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ إِنْ هَـذَا إِلاَّ سِحْرٌ مُّبِينٌ | |||||
| Words | |ولو - And (even) if| نزلنا - We (had) sent down| عليك - to you| كتابا - a written Scripture| في - in| قرطاس - a parchment| فلمسوه - and they touched it| بأيديهم - with their hands,| لقال - surely (would) have said| الذين - those who| كفروا - disbelieved,| إن - "Not| هذا - (is) this| إلا - but| سحر - magic,| مبين - clear."| | ||||||
| 5 [17:13] | Wakulla insanin alzamnahu ta-irahufee AAunuqihi wanukhriju lahu yawma alqiyamati kitabanyalqahu manshooran | وكل إنسان ألزمناه طائره في عنقه ونخرج له يوم القيامة كتابا يلقاه منشورا وَكُلَّ إِنسَانٍ أَلْزَمْنَاهُ طَآئِرَهُ فِي عُنُقِهِ وَنُخْرِجُ لَهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ كِتَابًا يَلْقَاهُ مَنشُورًا | |||||
| Words | |وكل - And (for) every| إنسان - man| ألزمناه - We have fastened to him| طائره - his fate| في - in| عنقه - his neck,| ونخرج - and We will bring forth| له - for him| يوم - (on the) Day| القيامة - (of) the Resurrection| كتابا - a record| يلقاه - which he will find| منشورا - wide open.| | ||||||
| 6 [17:93] | Aw yakoona laka baytun min zukhrufin aw tarqafee alssama-i walan nu/mina liruqiyyika hattatunazzila AAalayna kitaban naqraohu qul subhanarabbee hal kuntu illa basharan rasoolan | أو يكون لك بيت من زخرف أو ترقى في السماء ولن نؤمن لرقيك حتى تنزل علينا كتابا نقرؤه قل سبحان ربي هل كنت إلا بشرا رسولا أَوْ يَكُونَ لَكَ بَيْتٌ مِّن زُخْرُفٍ أَوْ تَرْقَى فِي السَّمَاءِ وَلَن نُّؤْمِنَ لِرُقِيِّكَ حَتَّى تُنَزِّلَ عَلَيْنَا كِتَابًا نَّقْرَؤُهُ قُلْ سُبْحَانَ رَبِّي هَلْ كُنتُ إِلاَّ بَشَرًا رَّسُولاً | |||||

| 7 [21:10] | Laqad anzalna ilaykum kitabanfeehi thikrukum afala taAAqiloona | لقد أنزلنا إليكم كتابا فيه ذكركم أفلا تعقلون لَقَدْ أَنزَلْنَا إِلَيْكُمْ كِتَابًا فِيهِ ذِكْرُكُمْ أَفَلَا تَعْقِلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |لقد - Indeed,| أنزلنا - We (have) sent down| إليكم - to you| كتابا - a Book| فيه - in it| ذكركم - (is) your mention.| أفلا - Then will not| تعقلون - you use reason?| | ||||||
| 8 [35:40] | Qul araaytum shurakaakumu allatheenatadAAoona min dooni Allahi aroonee matha khalaqoomina al-ardi am lahum shirkun fee alssamawatiam ataynahum kitaban fahum AAalabayyinatin minhu bal in yaAAidu alththalimoonabaAAduhum baAAdan illa ghurooran | قل أرأيتم شركاءكم الذين تدعون من دون الله أروني ماذا خلقوا من الأرض أم لهم شرك في السماوات أم آتيناهم كتابا فهم على بينت منه بل إن يعد الظالمون بعضهم بعضا إلا غرورا قُلْ أَرَأَيْتُمْ شُرَكَاءَكُمُ الَّذِينَ تَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ أَرُونِي مَاذَا خَلَقُوا مِنَ الْأَرْضِ أَمْ لَهُمْ شِرْكٌ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ أَمْ آتَيْنَاهُمْ كِتَابًا فَهُمْ عَلَى بَيِّنَةٍ مِّنْهُ بَلْ إِن يَعِدُ الظَّالِمُونَ بَعْضُهُم بَعْضًا إِلَّا غُرُورًا | |||||
| Words | |قل - Say,| أرأيتم - "Have you seen| شركاءكم - your partners| الذين - those whom| تدعون - you call| من - besides| دون - besides| الله - Allah?"| أروني - Show Me| ماذا - what| خلقوا - they have created| من - from| الأرض - the earth,| أم - or| لهم - for them| شرك - (is) a share| في - in| السماوات - the heavens.| أم - Or| آتيناهم - have We given them| كتابا - a Book| فهم - so they| على - (are) on| بينت - a clear proof| منه - therefrom?| بل - Nay,| إن - not| يعد - promise| الظالمون - the wrongdoers| بعضهم - some of them| بعضا - (to) others| إلا - except| غرورا - delusion.| | ||||||
| 9 [39:23] | Allahu nazzala ahsana alhadeethikitaban mutashabihan mathaniya taqshaAAirruminhu juloodu allatheena yakhshawna rabbahum thummataleenu julooduhum waquloobuhum ila thikri Allahithalika huda Allahi yahdee bihi man yashaowaman yudlili Allahu fama lahu min hadin | الله نزل أحسن الحديث كتابا متشابها مثاني تقشعر منه جلود الذين يخشون ربهم ثم تلين جلودهم وقلوبهم إلى ذكر الله ذلك هدى الله يهدي به من يشاء ومن يضلل الله فما له من هاد اللَّهُ نَزَّلَ أَحْسَنَ الْحَدِيثِ كِتَابًا مُّتَشَابِهًا مَّثَانِيَ تَقْشَعِرُّ مِنْهُ جُلُودُ الَّذِينَ يَخْشَوْنَ رَبَّهُمْ ثُمَّ تَلِينُ جُلُودُهُمْ وَقُلُوبُهُمْ إِلَى ذِكْرِ اللَّهِ ذَلِكَ هُدَى اللَّهِ يَهْدِي بِهِ مَنْ يَشَاءُ وَمَن يُضْلِلْ اللَّهُ فَمَا لَهُ مِنْ هَادٍ | |||||
| Words | |الله - Allah| نزل - has revealed| أحسن - (the) best| الحديث - (of) [the] statement -| كتابا - a Book| متشابها - (its parts) resembling each other| مثاني - oft-repeated.| تقشعر - Shiver| منه - from it| جلود - (the) skins| الذين - (of) those who| يخشون - fear| ربهم - their Lord,| ثم - then| تلين - relax| جلودهم - their skins| وقلوبهم - and their hearts| إلى - at| ذكر - (the) remembrance| الله - (of) Allah.| ذلك - That| هدى - (is the) guidance| الله - (of) Allah,| يهدي - He guides| به - with it| من - whom| يشاء - He wills.| ومن - And whoever| يضلل - Allah lets go astray| الله - Allah lets go astray| فما - then not| له - for him| من - any| هاد - guide.| | ||||||
| 10 [43:21] | Am ataynahum kitabanmin qablihi fahum bihi mustamsikoona | أم آتيناهم كتابا من قبله فهم به مستمسكون أَمْ آتَيْنَاهُمْ كِتَابًا مِّن قَبْلِهِ فَهُم بِهِ مُسْتَمْسِكُونَ | |||||

| 11 [46:30] | Qaloo ya qawmana innasamiAAna kitaban onzila min baAAdi moosa musaddiqanlima bayna yadayhi yahdee ila alhaqqi wa-ilatareeqin mustaqeemin | قالوا يا قومنا إنا سمعنا كتابا أنزل من بعد موسى مصدقا لما بين يديه يهدي إلى الحق وإلى طريق مستقيم قَالُوا يَا قَوْمَنَا إِنَّا سَمِعْنَا كِتَابًا أُنزِلَ مِن بَعْدِ مُوسَى مُصَدِّقًا لِّمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ يَهْدِي إِلَى الْحَقِّ وَإِلَى طَرِيقٍ مُّسْتَقِيمٍ | |||||
