| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[3:145] | Wama kana linafsin an tamootailla bi-ithni Allahi kitabanmu-ajjalan waman yurid thawaba alddunyanu/tihi minha waman yurid thawaba al-akhiratinu/tihi minha wasanajzee alshshakireena
|  وما كان لنفس أن تموت إلا بإذن الله كتابا مؤجلا ومن يرد ثواب الدنيا نؤته منها ومن يرد ثواب الآخرة نؤته منها وسنجزي الشاكرين
وَمَا كَانَ لِنَفْسٍ أَنْ تَمُوتَ إِلاَّ بِإِذْنِ الله كِتَابًا مُّؤَجَّلاً وَمَن يُرِدْ ثَوَابَ الدُّنْيَا نُؤْتِهِ مِنْهَا وَمَن يُرِدْ ثَوَابَ الْآخِرَةِ نُؤْتِهِ مِنْهَا وَسَنَجْزِي الشَّاكِرِينَ |
| Words | |وما - And not| كان - is| لنفس - for a soul| أن - that| تموت - he dies| إلا - except| بإذن - by (the) permission| الله - (of) Allah,| كتابا - (at a) decree| مؤجلا - determined.| ومن - And whoever| يرد - desires| ثواب - reward| الدنيا - (of) the world -| نؤته - We will give him| منها - thereof;| ومن - and whoever| يرد - desires| ثواب - reward| الآخرة - (of) the Hereafter| نؤته - We will give him| منها - thereof.| وسنجزي - And We will reward| الشاكرين - the grateful ones.| |

| ለማንኛይቱም ነፍስ በአላህ ፍርድ ቢኾን እንጅ ልትሞት አይገባትም፡፡ (ጊዜውም) ተወስኖ ተጽፏል፡፡ የቅርቢቱንም ምንዳ የሚፈልግ ሰው ከእርስዋ እንሰጠዋለን፡፡ የመጨረሻይቱንም ምንዳ የሚፈልግ ሰው ከእርስዋ እንሰጠዋለን፤ አመስጋኞችንም በእርግጥ እንመነዳለን፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { وما كان لنفس أن تموت إلا بإذن الله } بقضائه { كتابا } مصدر أي: كتب الله ذلك { مؤجَّلا } مؤقتا لا يتقدم ولا يتأخر فلم انهزمتم والهزيمة لا تدفع الموت والثبات لا يقطع الحياة { ومن يُرد } بعمله { ثواب الدنيا } أي جزاءه منها { نؤته منها } ما قسم له ولا حظَّ له في الآخرة { ومن يرد ثواب الآخرة نؤته منها } أي من ثوابها { وسنجري الشاكرين } . |
| Ur ipmeppat umdan siwa ma Irad Öebbi, di lajel iuran. Win ib$an akafi n ddunit, ad as t Nefk. Win ib$an akafi n laxeôt, ad as t Nefk. A Nkafi wid isnemmiren. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | আর আল্লাহর হুকুম ছাড়া কেউ মরতে পারে না-সেজন্য একটা সময় নির্ধারিত রয়েছে। বস্তুতঃ যে লোক দুনিয়ায় বিনিময় কামনা করবে, আমি তাকে তা দুনিয়াতেই দান করব। পক্ষান্তরে-যে লোক আখেরাতে বিনিময় কামনা করবে, তা থেকে আমি তাকে তাই দেবো। আর যারা কৃতজ্ঞ তাদেরকে আমি প্রতিদান দেবো |
| Literal | And it was not to a self that to die except with God's permission, a decree/destiny/fate delayed , and who wants/wills the present world's reward, We give him from it, and who wants/wills the end's (other life's) reward, We give him from it, and We will reward the thankful/grateful. |
| Yusuf Ali | Nor can a soul die except by Allah's leave, the term being fixed as by writing. If any do desire a reward in this life, We shall give it to him; and if any do desire a reward in the Hereafter, We shall give it to him. And swiftly shall We reward those that (serve us with) gratitude. |
