| 1 [9:48] | Laqadi ibtaghawoo alfitnata min qabluwaqallaboo laka al-omoora hatta jaa alhaqquwathahara amru Allahi wahum karihoona |  لقد ابتغوا الفتنة من قبل وقلبوا لك الأمور حتى جاء الحق وظهر أمر الله وهم كارهونلَقَدِ ابْتَغَوُاْ الْفِتْنَةَ مِن قَبْلُ وَقَلَّبُواْ لَكَ الْأُمُورَ حَتَّى جَاءَ الْحَقُّ وَظَهَرَ أَمْرُ اللّهِ وَهُمْ كَارِهُونَ | |||||
| Words | |لقد - Verily,| ابتغوا - they had sought| الفتنة - dissension| من - before| قبل - before| وقلبوا - and had upset| لك - for you| الأمور - the matters| حتى - until| جاء - came| الحق - the truth| وظهر - and became manifest| أمر - (the) Order of Allah,| الله - (the) Order of Allah,| وهم - while they| كارهون - disliked (it).| | ||||||
| 2 [9:54] | Wama manaAAahum an tuqbala minhumnafaqatuhum illa annahum kafaroo biAllahiwabirasoolihi wala ya/toona alssalatailla wahum kusala wala yunfiqoona illawahum karihoona | وما منعهم أن تقبل منهم نفقاتهم إلا أنهم كفروا بالله وبرسوله ولا يأتون الصلاة إلا وهم كسالى ولا ينفقون إلا وهم كارهون وَمَا مَنَعَهُمْ أَن تُقْبَلَ مِنْهُمْ نَفَقَاتُهُمْ إِلاَّ أَنَّهُمْ كَفَرُواْ بِاللّهِ وَبِرَسُولِهِ وَلاَ يَأْتُونَ الصَّلاَةَ إِلاَّ وَهُمْ كُسَالَى وَلاَ يُنفِقُونَ إِلاَّ وَهُمْ كَارِهُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وما - And not| منعهم - prevents them| أن - that| تقبل - is accepted| منهم - from them| نفقاتهم - their contributions| إلا - except| أنهم - that they| كفروا - disbelieve| بالله - in Allah| وبرسوله - and in His Messenger,| ولا - and not| يأتون - they come| الصلاة - (to) the prayer| إلا - except| وهم - while they| كسالى - (are) lazy,| ولا - and not| ينفقون - they spend| إلا - except| وهم - while they| كارهون - (are) unwilling.| | ||||||
| 3 [11:28] | Qala ya qawmi araaytum inkuntu AAala bayyinatin min rabbee waataneerahmatan min AAindihi faAAummiyat AAalaykum anulzimukumoohawaantum laha karihoona | قال يا قوم أرأيتم إن كنت على بينة من ربي وآتاني رحمة من عنده فعميت عليكم أنلزمكموها وأنتم لها كارهون قَالَ يَا قَوْمِ أَرَأَيْتُمْ إِن كُنتُ عَلَى بَيِّنَةٍ مِّن رَّبِّيَ وَآتَانِي رَحْمَةً مِّنْ عِندِهِ فَعُمِّيَتْ عَلَيْكُمْ أَنُلْزِمُكُمُوهَا وَأَنتُمْ لَهَا كَارِهُونَ | |||||
| Words | |قال - He said,| يا - O| قوم - "O my people!| أرأيتم - Do you see| إن - if| كنت - I was| على - on| بينة - (the) clear proof| من - from| ربي - my Lord,| وآتاني - while He has given me| رحمة - mercy| من - from| عنده - Himself| فعميت - but (it) has been obscured| عليكم - from you,| أنلزمكموها - should We compel you (to accept) it| وأنتم - while you (are)| لها - averse to it?| كارهون - averse to it?| | ||||||
| 4 [23:70] | Am yaqooloona bihi jinnatun bal jaahumbialhaqqi waaktharuhum lilhaqqi karihoona | أم يقولون به جنة بل جاءهم بالحق وأكثرهم للحق كارهون أَمْ يَقُولُونَ بِهِ جِنَّةٌ بَلْ جَاءَهُم بِالْحَقِّ وَأَكْثَرُهُمْ لِلْحَقِّ كَارِهُونَ | |||||
| Words | |أم - Or| يقولون - they say,| به - "In him| جنة - (is) madness?"| بل - Nay,| جاءهم - he brought them| بالحق - the truth,| وأكثرهم - but most of them| للحق - to the truth,| كارهون - (are) averse.| | ||||||
| 5 [43:78] | Laqad ji/nakum bialhaqqiwalakinna aktharakum lilhaqqi karihoona | لقد جئناكم بالحق ولكن أكثركم للحق كارهون لَقَدْ جِئْنَاكُم بِالْحَقِّ وَلَكِنَّ أَكْثَرَكُمْ لِلْحَقِّ كَارِهُونَ | |||||
| Words | |لقد - Certainly,| جئناكم - We have brought you| بالحق - the truth,| ولكن - but| أكثركم - most of you,| للحق - to the truth| كارهون - (are) averse.| | ||||||
