| 1 [3:156] | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoola takoonoo kaallatheena kafaroo waqalooli-ikhwanihim itha daraboo fee al-ardiaw kanoo ghuzzan law kanoo AAindana mamatoo wama qutiloo liyajAAala Allahu thalikahasratan fee quloobihim waAllahu yuhyeewayumeetu waAllahu bima taAAmaloona baseerun |  يا أيها الذين آمنوا لا تكونوا كالذين كفروا وقالوا لإخوانهم إذا ضربوا في الأرض أو كانوا غزى لو كانوا عندنا ما ماتوا وما قتلوا ليجعل الله ذلك حسرة في قلوبهم والله يحيي ويميت والله بما تعملون بصيريَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ لاَ تَكُونُواْ كَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ وَقَالُواْ لِإِخْوَانِهِمْ إِذَا ضَرَبُواْ فِي الْأَرْضِ أَوْ كَانُواْ غُزًّى لَّوْ كَانُواْ عِندَنَا مَا مَاتُواْ وَمَا قُتِلُواْ لِيَجْعَلَ اللّهُ ذَلِكَ حَسْرَةً فِي قُلُوبِهِمْ وَاللّهُ يُحْيِـي وَيُمِيتُ وَاللّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌ | |||||
| Words | |يا - O| أيها - O you| الذين - who| آمنوا - believe[d]!| لا - (Do) not| تكونوا - be| كالذين - like those who| كفروا - disbelieved| وقالوا - and they said| لإخوانهم - about their brothers| إذا - when| ضربوا - they traveled| في - in| الأرض - the earth| أو - or| كانوا - they were| غزى - fighting,| لو - "If| كانوا - they had been| عندنا - with us,| ما - not| ماتوا - they (would have) died| وما - and not| قتلوا - they (would have) been killed."| ليجعل - So makes| الله - Allah| ذلك - that| حسرة - a regret| في - in| قلوبهم - their hearts.| والله - And Allah| يحيي - gives life| ويميت - and causes death,| والله - and Allah| بما - of what| تعملون - you do| بصير - (is) All-Seer.| | ||||||
| 2 [3:168] | Allatheena qaloo li-ikhwanihimwaqaAAadoo law ataAAoona ma qutiloo qul faidraooAAan anfusikumu almawta in kuntum sadiqeena | الذين قالوا لإخوانهم وقعدوا لو أطاعونا ما قتلوا قل فادرءوا عن أنفسكم الموت إن كنتم صادقين الَّذِينَ قَالُواْ لِإِخْوَانِهِمْ وَقَعَدُواْ لَوْ أَطَاعُونَا مَا قُتِلُوا قُلْ فَادْرَؤُوا عَنْ أَنفُسِكُمُ الْمَوْتَ إِن كُنتُمْ صَادِقِينَ | |||||
| Words | |الذين - Those who| قالوا - said| لإخوانهم - about their brothers| وقعدوا - while they sat,| لو - "If| أطاعونا - they (had) obeyed us| ما - not| قتلوا - they would have been killed."| قل - Say,| فادرءوا - "Then avert| عن - from| أنفسكم - yourselves| الموت - [the] death| إن - if| كنتم - you are| صادقين - truthful.| | ||||||
| 3 [3:169] | Wala tahsabanna allatheenaqutiloo fee sabeeli Allahi amwatan bal ahyaonAAinda rabbihim yurzaqoona | ولا تحسبن الذين قتلوا في سبيل الله أمواتا بل أحياء عند ربهم يرزقون وَلاَ تَحْسَبَنَّ الَّذِينَ قُتِلُواْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللّهِ أَمْوَاتًا بَلْ أَحْيَاءٌ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ يُرْزَقُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ولا - And (do) not| تحسبن - think| الذين - (of) those who| قتلوا - are killed| في - in| سبيل - (the) way| الله - (of) Allah| أمواتا - (as) dead.| بل - Nay!| أحياء - They are alive,| عند - near| ربهم - their Lord;| يرزقون - they are given provision.| | ||||||
| 4 [6:140] | Qad khasira allatheena qataloo awladahumsafahan bighayri AAilmin waharramoo ma razaqahumuAllahu iftiraan AAala Allahi qad dalloowama kanoo muhtadeena | قد خسر الذين قتلوا أولادهم سفها بغير علم وحرموا ما رزقهم الله افتراء على الله قد ضلوا وما كانوا مهتدين قَدْ خَسِرَ الَّذِينَ قَتَلُواْ أَوْلاَدَهُمْ سَفَهًا بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ وَحَرَّمُواْ مَا رَزَقَهُمُ اللّهُ افْتِرَاءً عَلَى اللّهِ قَدْ ضَلُّواْ وَمَا كَانُواْ مُهْتَدِينَ | |||||
| Words | |قد - Certainly,| خسر - (are) lost| الذين - those who| قتلوا - killed| أولادهم - their children| سفها - (in) foolishness| بغير - without| علم - knowledge| وحرموا - and forbid| ما - what| رزقهم - (bas been) provided (to) them| الله - (by) Allah -| افتراء - inventing (lies)| على - against| الله - Allah.| قد - Certainly,| ضلوا - they have gone astray| وما - and not| كانوا - they are| مهتدين - guided-ones.| | ||||||
| 5 [22:58] | Waallatheena hajaroofee sabeeli Allahi thumma qutiloo aw matoolayarzuqannahumu Allahu rizqan hasanan wa-inna Allahalahuwa khayru alrraziqeena | والذين هاجروا في سبيل الله ثم قتلوا أو ماتوا ليرزقنهم الله رزقا حسنا وإن الله لهو خير الرازقين وَالَّذِينَ هَاجَرُوا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ ثُمَّ قُتِلُوا أَوْ مَاتُوا لَيَرْزُقَنَّهُمُ اللَّهُ رِزْقًا حَسَنًا وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَهُوَ خَيْرُ الرَّازِقِينَ | |||||
| Words | |والذين - And those who| هاجروا - emigrated| في - in| سبيل - (the) way| الله - (of) Allah| ثم - then| قتلوا - were killed| أو - or| ماتوا - died,| ليرزقنهم - surely, Allah will provide them| الله - surely, Allah will provide them| رزقا - a provision| حسنا - good.| وإن - And indeed| الله - Allah,| لهو - surely, He| خير - (is the) Best| الرازقين - (of) the Providers.| | ||||||
| 6 [47:4] | Fa-itha laqeetumu allatheenakafaroo fadarba alrriqabi hattaitha athkhantumoohum fashuddoo alwathaqa fa-immamannan baAAdu wa-imma fidaan hatta tadaAAaalharbu awzaraha thalika walaw yashaoAllahu laintasara minhum walakinliyabluwa baAAdakum bibaAAdin waallatheenaqutiloo fee sabeeli Allahi falan yudilla aAAmalahumsayahdeehim wayuslihu balahum | فإذا لقيتم الذين كفروا فضرب الرقاب حتى إذا أثخنتموهم فشدوا الوثاق فإما منا بعد وإما فداء حتى تضع الحرب أوزارها ذلك ولو يشاء الله لانتصر منهم ولكن ليبلو بعضكم ببعض والذين قتلوا في سبيل الله فلن يضل أعمالهم فَإِذا لَقِيتُمُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا فَضَرْبَ الرِّقَابِ حَتَّى إِذَا أَثْخَنتُمُوهُمْ فَشُدُّوا الْوَثَاقَ فَإِمَّا مَنًّا بَعْدُ وَإِمَّا فِدَاءً حَتَّى تَضَعَ الْحَرْبُ أَوْزَارَهَا ذَلِكَ وَلَوْ يَشَاءُ اللَّهُ لَانتَصَرَ مِنْهُمْ وَلَكِن لِّيَبْلُوَاْ بَعْضَكُم بِبَعْضٍ وَالَّذِينَ قُتِلُوا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَلَن يُضِلَّ أَعْمَالَهُمْ | |||||
| Words | |فإذا - So when| لقيتم - you meet| الذين - those who| كفروا - disbelieve,| فضرب - then strike| الرقاب - the necks| حتى - until| إذا - when| أثخنتموهم - you have subdued them,| فشدوا - then bind firmly| الوثاق - the bond,| فإما - then either| منا - a favor| بعد - afterwards| وإما - or| فداء - ransom| حتى - until| تضع - lays down| الحرب - the war| أوزارها - its burdens.| ذلك - That.| ولو - And if| يشاء - Allah had willed| الله - Allah had willed| لانتصر - surely, He could have taken retribution| منهم - from them,| ولكن - but| ليبلو - to test| بعضكم - some of you| ببعض - with others.| والذين - And those who| قتلوا - are killed| في - in| سبيل - (the) way of Allah,| الله - (the) way of Allah,| فلن - then never| يضل - He will cause to be lost| أعمالهم - their deeds.| | ||||||
