| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[3:169] | Wala tahsabanna allatheenaqutiloo fee sabeeli Allahi amwatan bal ahyaonAAinda rabbihim yurzaqoona
|  ولا تحسبن الذين قتلوا في سبيل الله أمواتا بل أحياء عند ربهم يرزقون
وَلاَ تَحْسَبَنَّ الَّذِينَ قُتِلُواْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللّهِ أَمْوَاتًا بَلْ أَحْيَاءٌ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ يُرْزَقُونَ |
| Words | |ولا - And (do) not| تحسبن - think| الذين - (of) those who| قتلوا - are killed| في - in| سبيل - (the) way| الله - (of) Allah| أمواتا - (as) dead.| بل - Nay!| أحياء - They are alive,| عند - near| ربهم - their Lord;| يرزقون - they are given provision.| |

| እነዚያን በአላህ መንገድ የተገደሉትን ሙታን አድርገህ አትገምታቸው፡፡ በእርግጥ እነርሱ እጌታቸው ዘንድ ሕያዋን ናቸው፤ ይመገባሉ፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { ولا تحسبن الذين قتلوا } بالتخفيف والتشديد { في سبيل الله } أي لأجل دينه { أمواتا بل } هم { أحياءٌ عند ربهم } أرواحهم في حواصل طيور خضر تسرح في الجنة حيث شاءت كما ورد في الحديث { يرزقون } يأكلون من ثمار الجنة . |

| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | আর যারা আল্লাহর রাহে নিহত হয়, তাদেরকে তুমি কখনো মৃত মনে করো না। বরং তারা নিজেদের পালনকর্তার নিকট জীবিত ও জীবিকাপ্রাপ্ত। |
| Literal | And do not think/suppose those who (were) killed in God's sake (are) deads, but (they are) alive at their Lord, being provided for. |
