| 1 [9:24] | Qul in kana abaokumwaabnaokum wa-ikhwanukum waazwajukumwaAAasheeratukum waamwalun iqtaraftumooha watijaratuntakhshawna kasadaha wamasakinu tardawnahaahabba ilaykum mina Allahi warasoolihi wajihadinfee sabeelihi fatarabbasoo hatta ya/tiya Allahubi-amrihi waAllahu la yahdee alqawma alfasiqeena |  قل إن كان آباؤكم وأبناؤكم وإخوانكم وأزواجكم وعشيرتكم وأموال اقترفتموها وتجارة تخشون كسادها ومساكن ترضونها أحب إليكم من الله ورسوله وجهاد في سبيله فتربصوا حتى يأتي الله بأمره والله لا يهدي القوم الفاسقينقُلْ إِن كَانَ آبَاؤُكُمْ وَأَبْنَآؤُكُمْ وَإِخْوَانُكُمْ وَأَزْوَاجُكُمْ وَعَشِيرَتُكُمْ وَأَمْوَالٌ اقْتَرَفْتُمُوهَا وَتِجَارَةٌ تَخْشَوْنَ كَسَادَهَا وَمَسَاكِنُ تَرْضَوْنَهَا أَحَبَّ إِلَيْكُم مِّنَ اللّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ وَجِهَادٍ فِي سَبِيلِهِ فَتَرَبَّصُواْ حَتَّى يَأْتِيَ اللّهُ بِأَمْرِهِ وَاللّهُ لاَ يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الْفَاسِقِينَ | |||||
| Words | |قل - Say,| إن - "If| كان - are| آباؤكم - your fathers,| وأبناؤكم - and your sons,| وإخوانكم - and your brothers,| وأزواجكم - and your spouses,| وعشيرتكم - and your relatives,| وأموال - and wealth| اقترفتموها - that you have acquired| وتجارة - and the commerce,| تخشون - you fear| كسادها - a decline (in) it| ومساكن - and the dwellings| ترضونها - you delight (in) it| أحب - (are) more beloved| إليكم - to you| من - than| الله - Allah,| ورسوله - and His Messenger| وجهاد - and striving| في - in| سبيله - His way,| فتربصوا - then wait| حتى - until| يأتي - Allah brings| الله - Allah brings| بأمره - His Command.| والله - And Allah| لا - (does) not| يهدي - guide| القوم - the people -| الفاسقين - the defiantly disobedient."| | ||||||
| 2 [9:52] | Qul hal tarabbasoona bina illaihda alhusnayayni wanahnu natarabbasubikum an yuseebakumu Allahu biAAathabin minAAindihi aw bi-aydeena fatarabbasoo innamaAAakum mutarabbisoona | قل هل تربصون بنا إلا إحدى الحسنيين ونحن نتربص بكم أن يصيبكم الله بعذاب من عنده أو بأيدينا فتربصوا إنا معكم متربصون قُلْ هَلْ تَرَبَّصُونَ بِنَا إِلاَّ إِحْدَى الْحُسْنَيَيْنِ وَنَحْنُ نَتَرَبَّصُ بِكُمْ أَن يُصِيبَكُمُ اللّهُ بِعَذَابٍ مِّنْ عِندِهِ أَوْ بِأَيْدِينَا فَتَرَبَّصُواْ إِنَّا مَعَكُم مُّتَرَبِّصُونَ | |||||
| Words | |قل - Say,| هل - "Do| تربصون - you await| بنا - for us| إلا - except| إحدى - one| الحسنيين - (of) the two best (things)| ونحن - while we| نتربص - [we] await| بكم - for you| أن - that| يصيبكم - Allah will afflict you| الله - Allah will afflict you| بعذاب - with a punishment| من - from| عنده - [near] Him,| أو - or| بأيدينا - by our hands?| فتربصوا - So wait,| إنا - indeed, we| معكم - with you| متربصون - (are) waiting."| | ||||||
| 3 [20:135] | Qul kullun mutarabbisun fatarabbasoofasataAAlamoona man as-habu alssiratialssawiyyi wamani ihtada | قل كل متربص فتربصوا فستعلمون من أصحاب الصراط السوي ومن اهتدى قُلْ كُلٌّ مُّتَرَبِّصٌ فَتَرَبَّصُوا فَسَتَعْلَمُونَ مَنْ أَصْحَابُ الصِّرَاطِ السَّوِيِّ وَمَنِ اهْتَدَى | |||||
| Words | |قل - Say,| كل - "Each| متربص - (is) waiting;| فتربصوا - so await.| فستعلمون - Then you will know| من - who| أصحاب - (are the) companions| الصراط - (of) the way| السوي - [the] even,| ومن - and who| اهتدى - is guided."| | ||||||
| 4 [23:25] | In huwa illa rajulun bihi jinnatunfatarabbasoo bihi hatta heenin | إن هو إلا رجل به جنة فتربصوا به حتى حين إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا رَجُلٌ بِهِ جِنَّةٌ فَتَرَبَّصُوا بِهِ حَتَّى حِينٍ | |||||
| Words | |إن - Not| هو - he| إلا - (is) but| رجل - a man| به - in him| جنة - (is) madness,| فتربصوا - so wait| به - concerning him| حتى - until| حين - a time."| | ||||||
