| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[9:52] | Qul hal tarabbasoona bina illaihda alhusnayayni wanahnu natarabbasubikum an yuseebakumu Allahu biAAathabin minAAindihi aw bi-aydeena fatarabbasoo innamaAAakum mutarabbisoona
|  قل هل تربصون بنا إلا إحدى الحسنيين ونحن نتربص بكم أن يصيبكم الله بعذاب من عنده أو بأيدينا فتربصوا إنا معكم متربصون
قُلْ هَلْ تَرَبَّصُونَ بِنَا إِلاَّ إِحْدَى الْحُسْنَيَيْنِ وَنَحْنُ نَتَرَبَّصُ بِكُمْ أَن يُصِيبَكُمُ اللّهُ بِعَذَابٍ مِّنْ عِندِهِ أَوْ بِأَيْدِينَا فَتَرَبَّصُواْ إِنَّا مَعَكُم مُّتَرَبِّصُونَ |

| «በእኛ ላይ ከሁለቱ መልካሞች አንደኛዋን እንጂ ሌላን ትጠባበቃላችሁን እኛም አላህ ከእርሱ በኾነው ቅጣት ወይም በእጆቻችን የሚያጠፋችሁ መኾኑን በናንተ ላይ እንጠባበቃለን፡፡ ተጠባበቁም እኛ ከእናንተ ጋር ተጠባባቂዎች ነንና» በላቸው፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { قل هل تربصون } فيه حذف إحدى التاءين من الأصل أي تنتظرون أن يقع { بنا إلا إحدى } العاقبتين { الحسنيين } تثنية حسنى تأنيث أحسن : النصر أو الشهادة { ونحن نتربص } ننتظر { بكم أن يصيبكم الله بعذاب من عنده } بقارعة من السماء { أو بأيدينا } بأن يؤذن لنا في قتالكم { فتربصوا } بنا ذلك { إنا معكم متربِّصون } عاقبتكم . |
| Ini: "acu teggunim ad ivôu yidne$, siwa yiwen si sin ise$iyen? Nekwni negguni a kwen Iwwet Öebbi, s uâaqeb ara d iasen s$uôeS, ne$ seg ifassen nne$. Ihi gganit, nekwni a neggani yidwen". |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | আপনি বলুন, তোমরা তো তোমাদের জন্যে দুটি কল্যাণের একটি প্রত্যাশা কর; আর আমরা প্রত্যাশায় আছি তোমাদের জন্যে যে, আল্লাহ তোমাদের আযাব দান করুন নিজের পক্ষ থেকে অথবা আমাদের হস্তে। সুতরাং তোমরা অপেক্ষা কর, আমরাও তোমাদের সাথে অপেক্ষমাণ। |
| Literal | Say: "Do you wait/remain with us except (that) one (of) the two goods (afflicts us), and we wait/remain with you that God strikes/hits you with torture from at Him or with our hands, so wait/remain , we are with you waiting/remaining." |
| Yusuf Ali | Say: "Can you expect for us (any fate) other than one of two glorious things- (Martyrdom or victory)? But we can expect for you either that Allah will send his punishment from Himself, or by our hands. So wait (expectant); we too will wait with you." |
