| 1 [4:167] | Inna allatheena kafaroo wasaddooAAan sabeeli Allahi qad dalloo dalalanbaAAeedan |  إن الذين كفروا وصدوا عن سبيل الله قد ضلوا ضلالا بعيداإِنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ وَصَدُّواْ عَن سَبِيلِ اللّهِ قَدْ ضَلُّواْ ضَلاَلاً بَعِيدًا | |||||
| Words | |إن - Indeed,| الذين - those who| كفروا - disbelieve| وصدوا - and hinder| عن - from| سبيل - (the) way| الله - (of) Allah,| قد - surely| ضلوا - they have strayed,| ضلالا - straying| بعيدا - far away.| | ||||||
| 2 [5:77] | Qul ya ahla alkitabi lataghloo fee deenikum ghayra alhaqqi wala tattabiAAooahwaa qawmin qad dalloo min qablu waadallookatheeran wadalloo AAan sawa-i alssabeeli | قل يا أهل الكتاب لا تغلوا في دينكم غير الحق ولا تتبعوا أهواء قوم قد ضلوا من قبل وأضلوا كثيرا وضلوا عن سواء السبيل قُلْ يَا أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ لاَ تَغْلُواْ فِي دِينِكُمْ غَيْرَ الْحَقِّ وَلاَ تَتَّبِعُواْ أَهْوَاءَ قَوْمٍ قَدْ ضَلُّواْ مِن قَبْلُ وَأَضَلُّواْ كَثِيرًا وَضَلُّواْ عَن سَوَاءِ السَّبِيلِ | |||||
| Words | |قل - Say,| يا - O| أهل - "O People| الكتاب - (of) the Book!| لا - (Do) not| تغلوا - exceed| في - in| دينكم - your religion| غير - other than| الحق - the truth,| ولا - and (do) not| تتبعوا - follow| أهواء - (vain) desires| قوم - (of) a people| قد - certainly| ضلوا - who went astray| من - from| قبل - before,| وأضلوا - and they misled| كثيرا - many,| وضلوا - and they have strayed| عن - from| سواء - (the) right| السبيل - [the] way.| | ||||||
| 3 [6:140] | Qad khasira allatheena qataloo awladahumsafahan bighayri AAilmin waharramoo ma razaqahumuAllahu iftiraan AAala Allahi qad dalloowama kanoo muhtadeena | قد خسر الذين قتلوا أولادهم سفها بغير علم وحرموا ما رزقهم الله افتراء على الله قد ضلوا وما كانوا مهتدين قَدْ خَسِرَ الَّذِينَ قَتَلُواْ أَوْلاَدَهُمْ سَفَهًا بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ وَحَرَّمُواْ مَا رَزَقَهُمُ اللّهُ افْتِرَاءً عَلَى اللّهِ قَدْ ضَلُّواْ وَمَا كَانُواْ مُهْتَدِينَ | |||||
| Words | |قد - Certainly,| خسر - (are) lost| الذين - those who| قتلوا - killed| أولادهم - their children| سفها - (in) foolishness| بغير - without| علم - knowledge| وحرموا - and forbid| ما - what| رزقهم - (bas been) provided (to) them| الله - (by) Allah -| افتراء - inventing (lies)| على - against| الله - Allah.| قد - Certainly,| ضلوا - they have gone astray| وما - and not| كانوا - they are| مهتدين - guided-ones.| | ||||||
| 4 [7:37] | Faman athlamu mimmani iftaraAAala Allahi kathiban aw kaththababi-ayatihi ola-ika yanaluhum naseebuhummina alkitabi hatta itha jaat-humrusuluna yatawaffawnahum qaloo ayna makuntum tadAAoona min dooni Allahi qaloo dallooAAanna washahidoo AAala anfusihim annahum kanookafireena | فمن أظلم ممن افترى على الله كذبا أو كذب بآياته أولئك ينالهم نصيبهم من الكتاب حتى إذا جاءتهم رسلنا يتوفونهم قالوا أين ما كنتم تدعون من دون الله قالوا ضلوا عنا وشهدوا على أنفسهم أنهم كانوا كافرين فَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّنِ افْتَرَى عَلَى اللّهِ كَذِبًا أَوْ كَذَّبَ بِآيَاتِهِ أُوْلَـئِكَ يَنَالُهُمْ نَصِيبُهُم مِّنَ الْكِتَابِ حَتَّى إِذَا جَاءَتْهُمْ رُسُلُنَا يَتَوَفَّوْنَهُمْ قَالُواْ أَيْنَ مَا كُنتُمْ تَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِ اللّهِ قَالُواْ ضَلُّواْ عَنَّا وَشَهِدُواْ عَلَى أَنفُسِهِمْ أَنَّهُمْ كَانُواْ كَافِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |فمن - Then who| أظلم - (is) more unjust| ممن - than (one) who| افترى - invented| على - against| الله - Allah| كذبا - a lie| أو - or| كذب - denies| بآياته - His Verses?| أولئك - Those -| ينالهم - will reach them| نصيبهم - their portion| من - from| الكتاب - the Book,| حتى - until| إذا - when| جاءتهم - comes to them| رسلنا - Our messengers (Angels)| يتوفونهم - (to) take them in death| قالوا - they say,| أين - "Where are| ما - those (whom)| كنتم - you used to| تدعون - invoke| من - from| دون - besides| الله - Allah?"| قالوا - They say,| ضلوا - "They strayed| عنا - from us,"| وشهدوا - and they (will) testify| على - against| أنفسهم - themselves| أنهم - that they| كانوا - were| كافرين - disbelievers.| | ||||||
| 5 [7:149] | Walamma suqita fee aydeehimwaraaw annahum qad dalloo qaloo la-in lam yarhamnarabbuna wayaghfir lana lanakoonanna mina alkhasireena | ولما سقط في أيديهم ورأوا أنهم قد ضلوا قالوا لئن لم يرحمنا ربنا ويغفر لنا لنكونن من الخاسرين وَلَمَّا سُقِطَ فَي أَيْدِيهِمْ وَرَأَوْاْ أَنَّهُمْ قَدْ ضَلُّواْ قَالُواْ لَئِن لَّمْ يَرْحَمْنَا رَبُّنَا وَيَغْفِرْ لَنَا لَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ولما - And when| سقط - (it was made to) fall| في - into| أيديهم - their hands| ورأوا - and they saw| أنهم - that they| قد - (had) indeed| ضلوا - gone astray,| قالوا - they said,| لئن - "If| لم - not| يرحمنا - has Mercy on us,| ربنا - Our Lord,| ويغفر - and forgive| لنا - [for] us,| لنكونن - we will surely be| من - among| الخاسرين - the losers."| | ||||||
| 6 [20:92] | Qala ya haroonu mamanaAAaka ith raaytahum dalloo | قال يا هارون ما منعك إذ رأيتهم ضلوا قَالَ يَا هَارُونُ مَا مَنَعَكَ إِذْ رَأَيْتَهُمْ ضَلُّوا | |||||
| Words | |قال - He said,| يا - O| هارون - "O Harun!| ما - What| منعك - prevented you,| إذ - when| رأيتهم - you saw them| ضلوا - going astray,| | ||||||
| 7 [25:17] | Wayawma yahshuruhum wamayaAAbudoona min dooni Allahi fayaqoolu aantum adlaltumAAibadee haola-i am hum dalloo alssabeela | ويوم يحشرهم وما يعبدون من دون الله فيقول أأنتم أضللتم عبادي هؤلاء أم هم ضلوا السبيل وَيَوْمَ يَحْشُرُهُمْ وَمَا يَعْبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ فَيَقُولُ أَأَنتُمْ أَضْلَلْتُمْ عِبَادِي هَؤُلَاءِ أَمْ هُمْ ضَلُّوا السَّبِيلَ | |||||
| Words | |ويوم - And (the) Day| يحشرهم - He will gather them| وما - and what| يعبدون - they worship| من - besides Allah| دون - besides Allah| الله - besides Allah| فيقول - and He will say,| أأنتم - "Did you| أضللتم - [you] mislead| عبادي - My slaves| هؤلاء - these| أم - or| هم - they| ضلوا - went astray| السبيل - (from) the way?"| | ||||||
| 8 [40:74] | Min dooni Allahi qaloo dallooAAanna bal lam nakun nadAAoo min qablu shay-an kathalikayudillu Allahu alkafireena | من دون الله قالوا ضلوا عنا بل لم نكن ندعو من قبل شيئا كذلك يضل الله الكافرين مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ قَالُوا ضَلُّوا عَنَّا بَل لَّمْ نَكُن نَّدْعُواْ مِن قَبْلُ شَيْئًا كَذَلِكَ يُضِلُّ اللَّهُ الْكَافِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |من - Other than| دون - Other than| الله - Allah?"| قالوا - They will say,| ضلوا - "They have departed| عنا - from us.| بل - Nay!| لم - Not| نكن - we used to| ندعو - [we] call| من - before| قبل - before| شيئا - anything."| كذلك - Thus| يضل - Allah lets go astray| الله - Allah lets go astray| الكافرين - the disbelievers.| | ||||||
| 9 [46:28] | Falawla nasarahumu allatheenaittakhathoo min dooni Allahi qurbanan alihatanbal dalloo AAanhum wathalika ifkuhum wama kanooyaftaroona | فلولا نصرهم الذين اتخذوا من دون الله قربانا آلهة بل ضلوا عنهم وذلك إفكهم وما كانوا يفترون فَلَوْلَا نَصَرَهُمُ الَّذِينَ اتَّخَذُوا مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ قُرْبَانًا آلِهَةً بَلْ ضَلُّوا عَنْهُمْ وَذَلِكَ إِفْكُهُمْ وَمَا كَانُوا يَفْتَرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |فلولا - Then why (did) not| نصرهم - help them| الذين - those whom| اتخذوا - they had taken| من - besides| دون - besides| الله - Allah| قربانا - gods as a way of approach?| آلهة - gods as a way of approach?| بل - Nay,| ضلوا - they were lost| عنهم - from them.| وذلك - And that| إفكهم - (was) their falsehood| وما - and what| كانوا - they were| يفترون - inventing.| | ||||||
