| 1 [9:8] | Kayfa wa-in yathharoo AAalaykumla yarquboo feekum illan wala thimmatan yurdoonakumbi-afwahihim wata/ba quloobuhum waaktharuhum fasiqoona |  كيف وإن يظهروا عليكم لا يرقبوا فيكم إلا ولا ذمة يرضونكم بأفواههم وتأبى قلوبهم وأكثرهم فاسقونكَيْفَ وَإِن يَظْهَرُوا عَلَيْكُمْ لاَ يَرْقُبُواْ فِيكُمْ إِلاًّ وَلاَ ذِمَّةً يُرْضُونَكُم بِأَفْوَاهِهِمْ وَتَأْبَى قُلُوبُهُمْ وَأَكْثَرُهُمْ فَاسِقُونَ | |||||
| Words | |كيف - How| وإن - while, if| يظهروا - they gain dominance| عليكم - over you| لا - they do not regard (the ties)| يرقبوا - they do not regard (the ties)| فيكم - with you| إلا - (of) kinship| ولا - and not| ذمة - covenant of protection?| يرضونكم - They satisfy you| بأفواههم - with their mouths| وتأبى - but refuse,| قلوبهم - their hearts| وأكثرهم - and most of them| فاسقون - (are) defiantly disobedient.| | ||||||
| 2 [9:10] | La yarquboona fee mu/minin illan walathimmatan waola-ika humu almuAAtadoona | لا يرقبون في مؤمن إلا ولا ذمة وأولئك هم المعتدون لاَ يَرْقُبُونَ فِي مُؤْمِنٍ إِلاًّ وَلاَ ذِمَّةً وَأُوْلَـئِكَ هُمُ الْمُعْتَدُونَ | |||||
