| 1 [4:119] | Walaodillannahum walaomanniyannahumwalaamurannahum falayubattikunna athana al-anAAamiwalaamurannahum falayughayyirunna khalqa Allahiwaman yattakhithi alshshaytana waliyyan mindooni Allahi faqad khasira khusranan mubeenan |  ولأضلنهم ولأمنينهم ولآمرنهم فليبتكن آذان الأنعام ولآمرنهم فليغيرن خلق الله ومن يتخذ الشيطان وليا من دون الله فقد خسر خسرانا مبيناوَلَأُضِلَّنَّهُمْ وَلَأُمَنِّيَنَّهُمْ وَلَآمُرَنَّهُمْ فَلَيُبَتِّكُنَّ آذَانَ الْأَنْعَامِ وَلَآمُرَنَّهُمْ فَلَيُغَيِّرُنَّ خَلْقَ اللّهِ وَمَن يَتَّخِذِ الشَّيْطَانَ وَلِيًّا مِّن دُونِ اللّهِ فَقَدْ خَسِرَ خُسْرَانًا مُّبِينًا | |||||
| Words | |ولأضلنهم - "And I will surely mislead them| ولأمنينهم - and surely arouse desires in them,| ولآمرنهم - and surely I will order them| فليبتكن - so they will surely cut off| آذان - (the) ears| الأنعام - (of) the cattle| ولآمرنهم - and surely I will order them| فليغيرن - so they will surely change| خلق - (the) creation| الله - (of) Allah."| ومن - And whoever| يتخذ - takes| الشيطان - the Shaitaan| وليا - (as) a friend| من - from| دون - besides| الله - Allah,| فقد - then surely| خسر - he (has) lost -| خسرانا - a loss| مبينا - manifest.| | ||||||
| 2 [6:31] | Qad khasira allatheena kaththaboobiliqa-i Allahi hatta itha jaat-humualssaAAatu baghtatan qaloo ya hasratanaAAala ma farratna feeha wahumyahmiloona awzarahum AAala thuhoorihimala saa ma yaziroona | قد خسر الذين كذبوا بلقاء الله حتى إذا جاءتهم الساعة بغتة قالوا يا حسرتنا على ما فرطنا فيها وهم يحملون أوزارهم على ظهورهم ألا ساء ما يزرون قَدْ خَسِرَ الَّذِينَ كَذَّبُواْ بِلِقَاءِ اللّهِ حَتَّى إِذَا جَاءَتْهُمُ السَّاعَةُ بَغْتَةً قَالُواْ يَا حَسْرَتَنَا عَلَى مَا فَرَّطْنَا فِيهَا وَهُمْ يَحْمِلُونَ أَوْزَارَهُمْ عَلَى ظُهُورِهِمْ أَلاَ سَاءَ مَا يَزِرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |قد - Indeed,| خسر - incurred loss| الذين - those who| كذبوا - denied| بلقاء - in (the) meeting| الله - (with) Allah,| حتى - until| إذا - when| جاءتهم - came to them| الساعة - the Hour| بغتة - suddenly| قالوا - they said,| يا - O| حسرتنا - "Oh! Our regret| على - over| ما - what| فرطنا - we neglected| فيها - concerning it,"| وهم - while they| يحملون - will bear| أوزارهم - their burdens| على - on| ظهورهم - their backs.| ألا - Unquestionably!| ساء - Evil| ما - (is) what| يزرون - they bear.| | ||||||
| 3 [6:140] | Qad khasira allatheena qataloo awladahumsafahan bighayri AAilmin waharramoo ma razaqahumuAllahu iftiraan AAala Allahi qad dalloowama kanoo muhtadeena | قد خسر الذين قتلوا أولادهم سفها بغير علم وحرموا ما رزقهم الله افتراء على الله قد ضلوا وما كانوا مهتدين قَدْ خَسِرَ الَّذِينَ قَتَلُواْ أَوْلاَدَهُمْ سَفَهًا بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ وَحَرَّمُواْ مَا رَزَقَهُمُ اللّهُ افْتِرَاءً عَلَى اللّهِ قَدْ ضَلُّواْ وَمَا كَانُواْ مُهْتَدِينَ | |||||
| Words | |قد - Certainly,| خسر - (are) lost| الذين - those who| قتلوا - killed| أولادهم - their children| سفها - (in) foolishness| بغير - without| علم - knowledge| وحرموا - and forbid| ما - what| رزقهم - (bas been) provided (to) them| الله - (by) Allah -| افتراء - inventing (lies)| على - against| الله - Allah.| قد - Certainly,| ضلوا - they have gone astray| وما - and not| كانوا - they are| مهتدين - guided-ones.| | ||||||
| 4 [10:45] | Wayawma yahshuruhum kaan lamyalbathoo illa saAAatan mina alnnahariyataAAarafoona baynahum qad khasira allatheena kaththaboobiliqa-i Allahi wama kanoo muhtadeena | ويوم يحشرهم كأن لم يلبثوا إلا ساعة من النهار يتعارفون بينهم قد خسر الذين كذبوا بلقاء الله وما كانوا مهتدين وَيَوْمَ يَحْشُرُهُمْ كَأَن لَّمْ يَلْبَثُواْ إِلاَّ سَاعَةً مِّنَ النَّهَارِ يَتَعَارَفُونَ بَيْنَهُمْ قَدْ خَسِرَ الَّذِينَ كَذَّبُواْ بِلِقَاءِ اللّهِ وَمَا كَانُواْ مُهْتَدِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ويوم - And the Day| يحشرهم - He will gather them,| كأن - as if| لم - they had not remained| يلبثوا - they had not remained| إلا - except| ساعة - an hour| من - of| النهار - the day,| يتعارفون - they will recognize each other| بينهم - between them.| قد - Certainly,| خسر - (will have) lost| الذين - those who| كذبوا - denied| بلقاء - the meeting| الله - (with) Allah,| وما - and not| كانوا - they were| مهتدين - the guided ones.| | ||||||
| 5 [22:11] | Wamina alnnasi man yaAAbuduAllaha AAala harfin fa-in asabahukhayrun itmaanna bihi wa-in asabat-hu fitnatuninqalaba AAala wajhihi khasira alddunya waal-akhiratathalika huwa alkhusranu almubeenu | ومن الناس من يعبد الله على حرف فإن أصابه خير اطمأن به وإن أصابته فتنة انقلب على وجهه خسر الدنيا والآخرة ذلك هو الخسران المبين وَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَن يَعْبُدُ اللَّهَ عَلَى حَرْفٍ فَإِنْ أَصَابَهُ خَيْرٌ اطْمَأَنَّ بِهِ وَإِنْ أَصَابَتْهُ فِتْنَةٌ انقَلَبَ عَلَى وَجْهِهِ خَسِرَ الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةَ ذَلِكَ هُوَ الْخُسْرَانُ الْمُبِينُ | |||||
| Words | |ومن - And among| الناس - the mankind| من - (is he) who| يعبد - worships| الله - Allah| على - on| حرف - an edge.| فإن - And if| أصابه - befalls him| خير - good,| اطمأن - he is content| به - with it,| وإن - and if| أصابته - befalls him| فتنة - a trial| انقلب - he turns| على - on| وجهه - his face.| خسر - He has lost| الدنيا - the world| والآخرة - and the Hereafter.| ذلك - That| هو - [it]| الخسران - (is) the loss| المبين - clear.| | ||||||
