| 1 [4:6] | Waibtaloo alyatama hattaitha balaghoo alnnikaha fa-in anastumminhum rushdan faidfaAAoo ilayhim amwalahum walata/kulooha israfan wabidaran an yakbaroowaman kana ghaniyyan falyastaAAfif waman kanafaqeeran falya/kul bialmaAAroofi fa-itha dafaAAtumilayhim amwalahum faashhidoo AAalayhim wakafa biAllahihaseeban |  وابتلوا اليتامى حتى إذا بلغوا النكاح فإن آنستم منهم رشدا فادفعوا إليهم أموالهم ولا تأكلوها إسرافا وبدارا أن يكبروا ومن كان غنيا فليستعفف ومن كان فقيرا فليأكل بالمعروف فإذا دفعتم إليهم أموالهم فأشهدوا عليهم وكفى بالله حسيباوَابْتَلُواْ الْيَتَامَى حَتَّى إِذَا بَلَغُواْ النِّكَاحَ فَإِنْ آنَسْتُم مِّنْهُمْ رُشْدًا فَادْفَعُواْ إِلَيْهِمْ أَمْوَالَهُمْ وَلاَ تَأْكُلُوهَا إِسْرَافًا وَبِدَارًا أَن يَكْبَرُواْ وَمَن كَانَ غَنِيًّا فَلْيَسْتَعْفِفْ وَمَن كَانَ فَقِيرًا فَلْيَأْكُلْ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ فَإِذَا دَفَعْتُمْ إِلَيْهِمْ أَمْوَالَهُمْ فَأَشْهِدُواْ عَلَيْهِمْ وَكَفَى بِاللّهِ حَسِيبًا | |||||
| Words | |وابتلوا - And test| اليتامى - the orphans| حتى - until| إذا - [when]| بلغوا - they reach[ed]| النكاح - (the age of) marriage,| فإن - then if| آنستم - you perceive| منهم - in them| رشدا - sound judgement| فادفعوا - then deliver| إليهم - to them| أموالهم - their wealth.| ولا - And (do) not| تأكلوها - eat it| إسرافا - extravagantly| وبدارا - and hastily| أن - (fearing) that| يكبروا - they will grow up.| ومن - And whoever| كان - is| غنيا - rich| فليستعفف - then he should refrain,| ومن - and whoever| كان - is| فقيرا - poor| فليأكل - then let him eat (of it)| بالمعروف - in a fair manner.| فإذا - Then when| دفعتم - you deliver| إليهم - to them| أموالهم - their wealth| فأشهدوا - then take witnesses| عليهم - on them.| وكفى - And is sufficient| بالله - Allah| حسيبا - (as) a Reckoner.| | ||||||
| 2 [4:86] | Wa-itha huyyeetum bitahiyyatinfahayyoo bi-ahsana minha aw ruddoohainna Allaha kana AAala kulli shay-in haseeban | وإذا حييتم بتحية فحيوا بأحسن منها أو ردوها إن الله كان على كل شيء حسيبا وَإِذَا حُيِّيْتُم بِتَحِيَّةٍ فَحَيُّواْ بِأَحْسَنَ مِنْهَا أَوْ رُدُّوهَا إِنَّ اللّهَ كَانَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ حَسِيبًا | |||||
| Words | |وإذا - And when| حييتم - you are greeted| بتحية - with a greeting,| فحيوا - then greet| بأحسن - with better| منها - than it| أو - or| ردوها - return it.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| كان - is| على - of| كل - every| شيء - thing| حسيبا - an Accountant.| | ||||||
| 3 [17:14] | Iqra/ kitabaka kafa binafsikaalyawma AAalayka haseeban | اقرأ كتابك كفى بنفسك اليوم عليك حسيبا اقْرَأْ كِتَابَكَ كَفَى بِنَفْسِكَ الْيَوْمَ عَلَيْكَ حَسِيبًا | |||||
| Words | |اقرأ - "Read| كتابك - your record.| كفى - Sufficient| بنفسك - (is) yourself| اليوم - today,| عليك - against you| حسيبا - (as) accountant."| | ||||||
| 4 [33:39] | Allatheena yuballighoona risalatiAllahi wayakhshawnahu wala yakhshawna ahadanilla Allaha wakafa biAllahi haseeban | الذين يبلغون رسالات الله ويخشونه ولا يخشون أحدا إلا الله وكفى بالله حسيبا الَّذِينَ يُبَلِّغُونَ رِسَالَاتِ اللَّهِ وَيَخْشَوْنَهُ وَلَا يَخْشَوْنَ أَحَدًا إِلَّا اللَّهَ وَكَفَى بِاللَّهِ حَسِيبًا | |||||
| Words | |الذين - Those who| يبلغون - convey| رسالات - (the) Messages| الله - (of) Allah| ويخشونه - and fear Him| ولا - and (do) not| يخشون - fear| أحدا - anyone| إلا - except| الله - Allah.| وكفى - And sufficient is Allah| بالله - And sufficient is Allah| حسيبا - (as) a Reckoner.| | ||||||
