| 1 [7:193] | Wa-in tadAAoohum ila alhuda layattabiAAookum sawaon AAalaykum adaAAawtumoohum am antum samitoona |  وإن تدعوهم إلى الهدى لا يتبعوكم سواء عليكم أدعوتموهم أم أنتم صامتونوَإِن تَدْعُوهُمْ إِلَى الْهُدَى لاَ يَتَّبِعُوكُمْ سَوَاءٌ عَلَيْكُمْ أَدَعَوْتُمُوهُمْ أَمْ أَنتُمْ صَامِتُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وإن - And if| تدعوهم - you call them| إلى - to| الهدى - the guidance,| لا - not| يتبعوكم - will they follow you.| سواء - (It is) same| عليكم - for you| أدعوتموهم - whether you call them| أم - or| أنتم - you| صامتون - remain silent.| | ||||||
| 2 [7:198] | Wa-in tadAAoohum ila alhuda layasmaAAoo watarahum yanthuroona ilayka wahumla yubsiroona | وإن تدعوهم إلى الهدى لا يسمعوا وتراهم ينظرون إليك وهم لا يبصرون وَإِن تَدْعُوهُمْ إِلَى الْهُدَى لاَ يَسْمَعُواْ وَتَرَاهُمْ يَنظُرُونَ إِلَيْكَ وَهُمْ لاَ يُبْصِرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وإن - And if| تدعوهم - you call them| إلى - to| الهدى - the guidance| لا - not| يسمعوا - do they not.| وتراهم - And you see them| ينظرون - looking| إليك - at you| وهم - but they -| لا - not| يبصرون - (do) they see.| | ||||||
| 3 [35:14] | In tadAAoohum la yasmaAAoo duAAaakumwalaw samiAAoo ma istajaboo lakum wayawma alqiyamatiyakfuroona bishirkikum wala yunabbi-oka mithlu khabeerin | إن تدعوهم لا يسمعوا دعاءكم ولو سمعوا ما استجابوا لكم ويوم القيامة يكفرون بشرككم ولا ينبئك مثل خبير إِن تَدْعُوهُمْ لَا يَسْمَعُوا دُعَاءَكُمْ وَلَوْ سَمِعُوا مَا اسْتَجَابُوا لَكُمْ وَيَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ يَكْفُرُونَ بِشِرْكِكُمْ وَلَا يُنَبِّئُكَ مِثْلُ خَبِيرٍ | |||||
| Words | |إن - If| تدعوهم - you invoke them| لا - not| يسمعوا - they hear| دعاءكم - your call;| ولو - and if| سمعوا - they heard,| ما - not| استجابوا - they (would) respond| لكم - to you.| ويوم - And (on the) Day| القيامة - (of) the Resurrection| يكفرون - they will deny| بشرككم - your association.| ولا - And none| ينبئك - can inform you| مثل - like| خبير - (the) All-Aware.| | ||||||
| 4 [42:13] | SharaAAa lakum mina alddeeni mawassa bihi noohan waallathee awhaynailayka wama wassayna bihi ibraheemawamoosa waAAeesa an aqeemoo alddeena walatatafarraqoo feehi kabura AAala almushrikeena matadAAoohum ilayhi Allahu yajtabee ilayhi man yashaowayahdee ilayhi man yuneebu | شرع لكم من الدين ما وصى به نوحا والذي أوحينا إليك وما وصينا به إبراهيم وموسى وعيسى أن أقيموا الدين ولا تتفرقوا فيه كبر على المشركين ما تدعوهم إليه الله يجتبي إليه من يشاء ويهدي إليه من ينيب شَرَعَ لَكُم مِّنَ الدِّينِ مَا وَصَّى بِهِ نُوحًا وَالَّذِي أَوْحَيْنَا إِلَيْكَ وَمَا وَصَّيْنَا بِهِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَمُوسَى وَعِيسَى أَنْ أَقِيمُوا الدِّينَ وَلَا تَتَفَرَّقُوا فِيهِ كَبُرَ عَلَى الْمُشْرِكِينَ مَا تَدْعُوهُمْ إِلَيْهِ اللَّهُ يَجْتَبِي إِلَيْهِ مَن يَشَاءُ وَيَهْدِي إِلَيْهِ مَن يُنِيبُ | |||||
| Words | |شرع - He has ordained| لكم - for you| من - of| الدين - the religion| ما - what| وصى - He enjoined| به - upon| نوحا - Nuh,| والذي - and that which| أوحينا - We have revealed| إليك - to you,| وما - and what| وصينا - We enjoined| به - upon| إبراهيم - Ibrahim| وموسى - and Musa| وعيسى - and Isa.| أن - To| أقيموا - establish| الدين - the religion| ولا - and not| تتفرقوا - be divided| فيه - therein.| كبر - Is difficult| على - on| المشركين - the polytheists| ما - what| تدعوهم - you call them| إليه - to it.| الله - Allah| يجتبي - chooses| إليه - for Himself| من - whom| يشاء - He wills,| ويهدي - and guides| إليه - to Himself| من - whoever| ينيب - turns.| | ||||||
