| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[7:193] | Wa-in tadAAoohum ila alhuda layattabiAAookum sawaon AAalaykum adaAAawtumoohum am antum samitoona
|  وإن تدعوهم إلى الهدى لا يتبعوكم سواء عليكم أدعوتموهم أم أنتم صامتون
وَإِن تَدْعُوهُمْ إِلَى الْهُدَى لاَ يَتَّبِعُوكُمْ سَوَاءٌ عَلَيْكُمْ أَدَعَوْتُمُوهُمْ أَمْ أَنتُمْ صَامِتُونَ |
| Words | |وإن - And if| تدعوهم - you call them| إلى - to| الهدى - the guidance,| لا - not| يتبعوكم - will they follow you.| سواء - (It is) same| عليكم - for you| أدعوتموهم - whether you call them| أم - or| أنتم - you| صامتون - remain silent.| |

| (ጣዖቶቹን) ወደ ቅን መንገድ ብትጠሩዋቸውም አይከተሉዋችሁም፡፡ ብትጠሩዋቸው ወይም እናንተ ዝምተኞችም ብትኾኑ በእናንተ ላይ እኩል ነው፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { وإن تدعوهم } أي الأصنام { إلى الهدى لا يتبعوكم } بالتخفيف والتشديد { سواء عليكم أدعوتموهم } إليه { أم أنتم صامتون } عن دعائهم لا يتبعوه لعدم سماعهم . |
| Ma tnecdem ten ar nnhaya, ur teddun yidwen. Iâuva fellawen ma tnecdem ten, ne$ ma tessusmem. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | আর তোমরা যদি তাদেরকে আহবান কর সুপথের দিকে, তবে তারা তোমাদের আহবান অনুযায়ী চলবে না। তাদেরকে আহবান জানানো কিংবা নীরব থাকা উভয়টিই তোমাদের জন্য সমান। |
| Literal | And if you call them to the guidance, they do not follow you, (it is) equal/alike on you, if you called them, or you are silent. |
| Yusuf Ali | If ye call them to guidance, they will not obey: For you it is the same whether ye call them or ye hold your peace! |
