| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[7:198] | Wa-in tadAAoohum ila alhuda layasmaAAoo watarahum yanthuroona ilayka wahumla yubsiroona
|  وإن تدعوهم إلى الهدى لا يسمعوا وتراهم ينظرون إليك وهم لا يبصرون
وَإِن تَدْعُوهُمْ إِلَى الْهُدَى لاَ يَسْمَعُواْ وَتَرَاهُمْ يَنظُرُونَ إِلَيْكَ وَهُمْ لاَ يُبْصِرُونَ |
| Words | |وإن - And if| تدعوهم - you call them| إلى - to| الهدى - the guidance| لا - not| يسمعوا - do they not.| وتراهم - And you see them| ينظرون - looking| إليك - at you| وهم - but they -| لا - not| يبصرون - (do) they see.| |

| «ወደ ቅንም መንገድ (እንዲመሩዋችሁ) ብትጠሩዋቸው አይሰሙም፤» (በላቸው)፡፡ እነርሱንም የማያዩ ሲኾኑ ወደ አንተ ሲመለከቱ ታያቸዋለህ፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { وإن تدعوهم } أي الأصنام { إلى الهدى لا يسمعوا وتراهم } أي الأصنام يا محمد { ينظرون إليك } أي يقابلونك كالناظر { وهم لا يبصرون } . |
| Ma tnecdem ten ar nnhaya, ur sellen. A ten twaliv a k id pmuqulen, nitni ur pwalin. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | আর তুমি যদি তাদেরকে সুপথে আহবান কর, তবে তারা তা কিছুই শুনবে না। আর তুমি তো তাদের দেখছই, তোমার দিকে তাকিয়ে আছে, অথচ তারা কিছুই দেখতে পাচ্ছে না। |
| Literal | And if you call them to the guidance, they do not hear/listen, and you see them looking/watching to you, and they are not seeing/understanding . |
| Yusuf Ali | If thou callest them to guidance, they hear not. Thou wilt see them looking at thee, but they see not. |
