| 1 [2:214] | Am hasibtum an tadkhuloo aljannatawalamma ya/tikum mathalu allatheena khalaw minqablikum massat-humu alba/sao waalddarraowazulziloo hatta yaqoola alrrasoolu waallatheenaamanoo maAAahu mata nasru Allahi alainna nasra Allahi qareebun |  أم حسبتم أن تدخلوا الجنة ولما يأتكم مثل الذين خلوا من قبلكم مستهم البأساء والضراء وزلزلوا حتى يقول الرسول والذين آمنوا معه متى نصر الله ألا إن نصر الله قريبأَمْ حَسِبْتُمْ أَن تَدْخُلُواْ الْجَنَّةَ وَلَمَّا يَأْتِكُم مَّثَلُ الَّذِينَ خَلَوْاْ مِن قَبْلِكُم مَّسَّتْهُمُ الْبَأْسَاءُ وَالضَّرَّاءُ وَزُلْزِلُواْ حَتَّى يَقُولَ الرَّسُولُ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ مَعَهُ مَتَى نَصْرُ اللّهِ أَلا إِنَّ نَصْرَ اللّهِ قَرِيبٌ | |||||
| Words | |أم - Or| حسبتم - (do) you think| أن - that| تدخلوا - you will enter| الجنة - Paradise| ولما - while not| يأتكم - (has) come to you| مثل - like (came to)| الذين - those who| خلوا - passed away| من - from| قبلكم - before you?| مستهم - Touched them| البأساء - [the] adversity| والضراء - and [the] hardship,| وزلزلوا - and they were shaken| حتى - until| يقول - said| الرسول - the Messenger| والذين - and those who| آمنوا - believed| معه - with him,| متى - "When| نصر - [will] (the) help| الله - (of) Allah (come)| ألا - Unquestionably,| إن - [Indeed]| نصر - help| الله - (of) Allah| قريب - (is) near.| | ||||||
| 2 [3:142] | Am hasibtum an tadkhuloo aljannatawalamma yaAAlami Allahu allatheena jahadoominkum wayaAAlama alssabireena | أم حسبتم أن تدخلوا الجنة ولما يعلم الله الذين جاهدوا منكم ويعلم الصابرين أَمْ حَسِبْتُمْ أَن تَدْخُلُواْ الْجَنَّةَ وَلَمَّا يَعْلَمِ اللّهُ الَّذِينَ جَاهَدُواْ مِنكُمْ وَيَعْلَمَ الصَّابِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |أم - Or| حسبتم - do you think| أن - that| تدخلوا - you will enter| الجنة - Paradise| ولما - while has not yet| يعلم - made evident| الله - Allah| الذين - those who| جاهدوا - strove hard| منكم - among you| ويعلم - and made evident| الصابرين - the steadfast.| | ||||||
| 3 [12:67] | Waqala ya baniyya latadkhuloo min babin wahidin waodkhuloo minabwabin mutafarriqatin wama oghnee AAankum mina Allahimin shay-in ini alhukmu illa lillahiAAalayhi tawakkaltu waAAalayhi falyatawakkali almutawakkiloona | وقال يا بني لا تدخلوا من باب واحد وادخلوا من أبواب متفرقة وما أغني عنكم من الله من شيء إن الحكم إلا لله عليه توكلت وعليه فليتوكل المتوكلون وَقَالَ يَا بَنِيَّ لاَ تَدْخُلُواْ مِن بَابٍ وَاحِدٍ وَادْخُلُواْ مِنْ أَبْوَابٍ مُّتَفَرِّقَةٍ وَمَا أُغْنِي عَنكُم مِّنَ اللّهِ مِن شَيْءٍ إِنِ الْحُكْمُ إِلاَّ لِلّهِ عَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ وَعَلَيْهِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ الْمُتَوَكِّلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وقال - And he said,| يا - O| بني - "O my sons!| لا - (Do) not| تدخلوا - enter| من - from| باب - one gate,| واحد - one gate,| وادخلوا - but enter| من - from| أبواب - gates| متفرقة - different.| وما - And not| أغني - I can avail| عنكم - you| من - against| الله - Allah| من - any| شيء - thing.| إن - Not| الحكم - (is) the decision| إلا - except| لله - with Allah,| عليه - upon Him| توكلت - I put my trust| وعليه - and upon Him,| فليتوكل - let put (their) trust| المتوكلون - the ones who put trust."| | ||||||
| 4 [24:27] | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoola tadkhuloo buyootan ghayra buyootikum hattatasta/nisoo watusallimoo AAala ahliha thalikumkhayrun lakum laAAallakum tathakkaroona | يا أيها الذين آمنوا لا تدخلوا بيوتا غير بيوتكم حتى تستأنسوا وتسلموا على أهلها ذلكم خير لكم لعلكم تذكرون يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تَدْخُلُوا بُيُوتًا غَيْرَ بُيُوتِكُمْ حَتَّى تَسْتَأْنِسُوا وَتُسَلِّمُوا عَلَى أَهْلِهَا ذَلِكُمْ خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَذَكَّرُونَ | |||||

| 5 [24:29] | Laysa AAalaykum junahun an tadkhuloobuyootan ghayra maskoonatin feeha mataAAun lakum waAllahuyaAAlamu ma tubdoona wama taktumoona | ليس عليكم جناح أن تدخلوا بيوتا غير مسكونة فيها متاع لكم والله يعلم ما تبدون وما تكتمون لَّيْسَ عَلَيْكُمْ جُنَاحٌ أَن تَدْخُلُوا بُيُوتًا غَيْرَ مَسْكُونَةٍ فِيهَا مَتَاعٌ لَّكُمْ وَاللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ مَا تُبْدُونَ وَمَا تَكْتُمُونَ | |||||

| 6 [33:53] | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoola tadkhuloo buyoota alnnabiyyi illa an yu/thanalakum ila taAAamin ghayra nathireenainahu walakin itha duAAeetum faodkhuloofa-itha taAAimtum faintashiroo walamusta/niseena lihadeethin inna thalikum kanayu/thee alnnabiyya fayastahyee minkum waAllahula yastahyee mina alhaqqi wa-ithasaaltumoohunna mataAAan fais-aloohunna min wara-ihijabin thalikum atharu liquloobikumwaquloobihinna wama kana lakum an tu/thoorasoola Allahi wala an tankihoo azwajahumin baAAdihi abadan inna thalikum kana AAinda AllahiAAatheeman | يا أيها الذين آمنوا لا تدخلوا بيوت النبي إلا أن يؤذن لكم إلى طعام غير ناظرين إناه ولكن إذا دعيتم فادخلوا فإذا طعمتم فانتشروا ولا مستأنسين لحديث إن ذلكم كان يؤذي النبي فيستحيي منكم والله لا يستحيي من الحق وإذا سألتموهن متاعا فاسألوهن من وراء حجاب ذلكم أطهر لقلوبكم وقلوبهن وما كان لكم أن تؤذوا رسول الله ولا أن تنكحوا أزواجه من بعده أبدا إن ذلكم كان عند الله عظيما يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تَدْخُلُوا بُيُوتَ النَّبِيِّ إِلَّا أَن يُؤْذَنَ لَكُمْ إِلَى طَعَامٍ غَيْرَ نَاظِرِينَ إِنَاهُ وَلَكِنْ إِذَا دُعِيتُمْ فَادْخُلُوا فَإِذَا طَعِمْتُمْ فَانتَشِرُوا وَلَا مُسْتَأْنِسِينَ لِحَدِيثٍ إِنَّ ذَلِكُمْ كَانَ يُؤْذِي النَّبِيَّ فَيَسْتَحْيِي مِنكُمْ وَاللَّهُ لَا يَسْتَحْيِي مِنَ الْحَقِّ وَإِذَا سَأَلْتُمُوهُنَّ مَتَاعًا فَاسْأَلُوهُنَّ مِن وَرَاءِ حِجَابٍ ذَلِكُمْ أَطْهَرُ لِقُلُوبِكُمْ وَقُلُوبِهِنَّ وَمَا كَانَ لَكُمْ أَن تُؤْذُوا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَلَا أَن تَنكِحُوا أَزْوَاجَهُ مِن بَعْدِهِ أَبَدًا إِنَّ ذَلِكُمْ كَانَ عِندَ اللَّهِ عَظِيمًا | |||||
| Words | |يا - O| أيها - O you who believe!| الذين - O you who believe!| آمنوا - O you who believe!| لا - (Do) not| تدخلوا - enter| بيوت - (the) houses| النبي - (of) the Prophet| إلا - except| أن - when| يؤذن - permission is given| لكم - to you| إلى - for| طعام - a meal,| غير - without| ناظرين - awaiting| إناه - its preparation.| ولكن - But| إذا - when| دعيتم - you are invited,| فادخلوا - then enter;| فإذا - and when| طعمتم - you have eaten,| فانتشروا - then disperse| ولا - and not| مستأنسين - seeking to remain| لحديث - for a conversation.| إن - Indeed,| ذلكم - that| كان - was| يؤذي - troubling| النبي - the Prophet,| فيستحيي - and he is shy| منكم - of (dismissing) you.| والله - But Allah| لا - is not shy| يستحيي - is not shy| من - of| الحق - the truth.| وإذا - And when| سألتموهن - you ask them| متاعا - (for) anything| فاسألوهن - then ask them| من - from| وراء - behind| حجاب - a screen.| ذلكم - That| أطهر - (is) purer| لقلوبكم - for your hearts| وقلوبهن - and their hearts.| وما - And not| كان - is| لكم - for you| أن - that| تؤذوا - you trouble| رسول - (the) Messenger| الله - (of) Allah| ولا - and not| أن - that| تنكحوا - you should marry| أزواجه - his wives| من - after him,| بعده - after him,| أبدا - ever.| إن - Indeed,| ذلكم - that| كان - is| عند - near| الله - Allah| عظيما - an enormity.| | ||||||
