[3:142] | Am hasibtum an tadkhuloo aljannatawalamma yaAAlami Allahu allatheena jahadoominkum wayaAAlama alssabireena
|  أم حسبتم أن تدخلوا الجنة ولما يعلم الله الذين جاهدوا منكم ويعلم الصابرين
أَمْ حَسِبْتُمْ أَن تَدْخُلُواْ الْجَنَّةَ وَلَمَّا يَعْلَمِ اللّهُ الَّذِينَ جَاهَدُواْ مِنكُمْ وَيَعْلَمَ الصَّابِرِينَ |
| Words | |أم - Or| حسبتم - do you think| أن - that| تدخلوا - you will enter| الجنة - Paradise| ولما - while has not yet| يعلم - made evident| الله - Allah| الذين - those who| جاهدوا - strove hard| منكم - among you| ويعلم - and made evident| الصابرين - the steadfast.| |

| በእውነቱ አላህ ከናንተ እነዚያን የታገሉትን ሳያውቅ (ሳይለይ) ታጋሾቹንም ሳያውቅ ገነትን ልትገቡ አሰባችሁን |
| آل الجلالين | { أم } بل { حسبتم أن تدخلوا الجنة ولَما } لم { يعلم الله الذين جاهدوا منكم } علم ظهور { ويعلم الصابرين } في الشدائد . |

| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | তোমাদের কি ধারণা, তোমরা জান্নাতে প্রবেশ করবে? অথচ আল্লাহ এখনও দেখেননি তোমাদের মধ্যে কারা জেহাদ করেছে এবং কারা ধৈর্য্যশীল। |
| Literal | Or (have) you thought/supposed that you enter the Paradise, and God did not (E) know, those who struggled/did utmost from you, and He knows the patient. |
