| 1 [3:139] | Wala tahinoo wala tahzanoowaantumu al-aAAlawna in kuntum mu/mineena |  ولا تهنوا ولا تحزنوا وأنتم الأعلون إن كنتم مؤمنينوَلاَ تَهِنُوا وَلاَ تَحْزَنُوا وَأَنتُمُ الْأَعْلَوْنَ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ولا - And (do) not| تهنوا - weaken| ولا - and (do) not| تحزنوا - grieve| وأنتم - and you (will be)| الأعلون - [the] superior,| إن - if| كنتم - you are| مؤمنين - believers.| | ||||||
| 2 [3:153] | Ith tusAAidoona walatalwoona AAala ahadin waalrrasooluyadAAookum fee okhrakum faathabakum ghammanbighammin likay la tahzanoo AAala mafatakum wala ma asabakum waAllahukhabeerun bima taAAmaloona | إذ تصعدون ولا تلوون على أحد والرسول يدعوكم في أخراكم فأثابكم غما بغم لكيلا تحزنوا على ما فاتكم ولا ما أصابكم والله خبير بما تعملون إِذْ تُصْعِدُونَ وَلاَ تَلْوُونَ عَلَى أَحَدٍ وَالرَّسُولُ يَدْعُوكُمْ فِي أُخْرَاكُمْ فَأَثَابَكُمْ غَمًّا بِغَمٍّ لِّكَيْلاَ تَحْزَنُواْ عَلَى مَا فَاتَكُمْ وَلاَ مَا أَصَابَكُمْ وَاللّهُ خَبِيرٌ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |إذ - When| تصعدون - you were running uphill| ولا - and not| تلوون - casting a glance| على - on| أحد - anyone| والرسول - while the Messenger| يدعوكم - was calling you| في - [in]| أخراكم - (from) behind you.| فأثابكم - So (He) repaid you| غما - (with) distress| بغم - on distress| لكيلا - so that not| تحزنوا - you grieve| على - over| ما - what| فاتكم - escaped you| ولا - and not| ما - what| أصابكم - (had) befallen you.| والله - And Allah| خبير - (is) All-Aware| بما - of what| تعملون - you do.| | ||||||
| 3 [41:30] | Inna allatheena qaloo rabbunaAllahu thumma istaqamoo tatanazzalu AAalayhimualmala-ikatu alla takhafoo wala tahzanoowaabshiroo bialjannati allatee kuntum tooAAadoona | إن الذين قالوا ربنا الله ثم استقاموا تتنزل عليهم الملائكة ألا تخافوا ولا تحزنوا وأبشروا بالجنة التي كنتم توعدون إِنَّ الَّذِينَ قَالُوا رَبُّنَا اللَّهُ ثُمَّ اسْتَقَامُوا تَتَنَزَّلُ عَلَيْهِمُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ أَلَّا تَخَافُوا وَلَا تَحْزَنُوا وَأَبْشِرُوا بِالْجَنَّةِ الَّتِي كُنتُمْ تُوعَدُونَ | |||||
| Words | |إن - Indeed,| الذين - those who| قالوا - say,| ربنا - "Our Lord,| الله - (is) Allah,"| ثم - then| استقاموا - stand firm -| تتنزل - will descend| عليهم - on them| الملائكة - the Angels,| ألا - "(Do) not| تخافوا - fear,| ولا - and (do) not| تحزنوا - grieve| وأبشروا - but receive the glad tidings| بالجنة - of Paradise| التي - which| كنتم - you were| توعدون - promised.| | ||||||
