| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[3:139] | Wala tahinoo wala tahzanoowaantumu al-aAAlawna in kuntum mu/mineena
|  ولا تهنوا ولا تحزنوا وأنتم الأعلون إن كنتم مؤمنين
وَلاَ تَهِنُوا وَلاَ تَحْزَنُوا وَأَنتُمُ الْأَعْلَوْنَ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ |
| Words | |ولا - And (do) not| تهنوا - weaken| ولا - and (do) not| تحزنوا - grieve| وأنتم - and you (will be)| الأعلون - [the] superior,| إن - if| كنتم - you are| مؤمنين - believers.| |

| እናንተም የበላዮች ስትኾኑ ምእመናን እንደኾናችሁ አትስነፉ፤ አትዘኑም፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { ولا تهنوا } تضعفوا عن قتال الكفار { ولا تحزنوا } على ما أصابكم بأحد { وأنتم الأعلون } بالغلبة عليهم { إن كنتم مؤمنين } حقا وجوابه دل عليه مجموع ما قبله . |
| Ur ppifcilet, ur $webnet, d kunwi i iaâlayen, ma d lmumnin ay tellam. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | আর তোমরা নিরাশ হয়ো না এবং দুঃখ করো না। যদি তোমরা মুমিন হও তবে, তোমরাই জয়ী হবে। |
| Literal | And do not weaken/enfeeble , and do not be saddened/grieved, and you are the overcoming and becoming dignified/defeating, if you were believing.42 |
| Yusuf Ali | So lose not heart, nor fall into despair: For ye must gain mastery if ye are true in Faith. |
