| 1 [5:39] | Faman taba min baAAdi thulmihiwaaslaha fa-inna Allaha yatoobu AAalayhiinna Allaha ghafoorun raheemun |  فمن تاب من بعد ظلمه وأصلح فإن الله يتوب عليه إن الله غفور رحيمفَمَن تَابَ مِن بَعْدِ ظُلْمِهِ وَأَصْلَحَ فَإِنَّ اللّهَ يَتُوبُ عَلَيْهِ إِنَّ اللّهَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |فمن - But whoever| تاب - repented| من - from| بعد - after| ظلمه - his wrongdoing| وأصلح - and reforms,| فإن - then indeed,| الله - Allah| يتوب - will turn in forgiveness| عليه - to him.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| غفور - (is) Oft-Forgiving,| رحيم - Most Merciful.| | ||||||
| 2 [5:71] | Wahasiboo alla takoonafitnatun faAAamoo wasammoo thumma taba AllahuAAalayhim thumma AAamoo wasammoo katheerun minhum waAllahubaseerun bima yaAAmaloona | وحسبوا ألا تكون فتنة فعموا وصموا ثم تاب الله عليهم ثم عموا وصموا كثير منهم والله بصير بما يعملون وَحَسِبُواْ أَلاَّ تَكُونَ فِتْنَةٌ فَعَمُواْ وَصَمُّواْ ثُمَّ تَابَ اللّهُ عَلَيْهِمْ ثُمَّ عَمُواْ وَصَمُّواْ كَثِيرٌ مِّنْهُمْ وَاللّهُ بَصِيرٌ بِمَا يَعْمَلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وحسبوا - And they thought| ألا - that not| تكون - will be (for them)| فتنة - a trial,| فعموا - so they became blind| وصموا - and they became deaf.| ثم - Then| تاب - turned| الله - Allah| عليهم - to them,| ثم - then (again)| عموا - they became blind| وصموا - and they became deaf,| كثير - many| منهم - of them.| والله - And Allah| بصير - (is) All-Seer| بما - of what| يعملون - they do.| | ||||||
| 3 [6:54] | Wa-itha jaaka allatheenayu/minoona bi-ayatina faqul salamunAAalaykum kataba rabbukum AAala nafsihi alrrahmataannahu man AAamila minkum soo-an bijahalatin thumma tabamin baAAdihi waaslaha faannahu ghafoorun raheemun | وإذا جاءك الذين يؤمنون بآياتنا فقل سلام عليكم كتب ربكم على نفسه الرحمة أنه من عمل منكم سوءا بجهالة ثم تاب من بعده وأصلح فأنه غفور رحيم وَإِذَا جَاءَكَ الَّذِينَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِآيَاتِنَا فَقُلْ سَلاَمٌ عَلَيْكُمْ كَتَبَ رَبُّكُمْ عَلَى نَفْسِهِ الرَّحْمَةَ أَنَّهُ مَن عَمِلَ مِنكُمْ سُوءًا بِجَهَالَةٍ ثُمَّ تَابَ مِن بَعْدِهِ وَأَصْلَحَ فَأَنَّهُ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |وإذا - And when| جاءك - come to you| الذين - those who| يؤمنون - believe| بآياتنا - in Our Verses| فقل - then say,| سلام - "Peace| عليكم - (be) upon you.| كتب - (Has) Prescribed| ربكم - your Lord| على - upon| نفسه - Himself| الرحمة - the Mercy,| أنه - that he| من - who| عمل - does| منكم - among you| سوءا - evil| بجهالة - in ignorance| ثم - then| تاب - repents| من - from| بعده - after it| وأصلح - and reforms,| فأنه - then, indeed He| غفور - (is) Oft-Forgiving,| رحيم - Most Merciful."| | ||||||
| 4 [9:117] | Laqad taba Allahu AAalaalnnabiyyi waalmuhajireena waal-ansariallatheena ittabaAAoohu fee saAAati alAAusrati minbaAAdi ma kada yazeeghu quloobu fareeqin minhumthumma taba AAalayhim innahu bihim raoofun raheemun | لقد تاب الله على النبي والمهاجرين والأنصار الذين اتبعوه في ساعة العسرة من بعد ما كاد يزيغ قلوب فريق منهم ثم تاب عليهم إنه بهم رءوف رحيم لَقَد تَّابَ الله عَلَى النَّبِيِّ وَالْمُهَاجِرِينَ وَالأَنصَارِ الَّذِينَ اتَّبَعُوهُ فِي سَاعَةِ الْعُسْرَةِ مِن بَعْدِ مَا كَادَ يَزِيغُ قُلُوبُ فَرِيقٍ مِّنْهُمْ ثُمَّ تَابَ عَلَيْهِمْ إِنَّهُ بِهِمْ رَؤُوفٌ رَّحِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |لقد - Verily,| تاب - Allah turned (in mercy)| الله - Allah turned (in mercy)| على - to| النبي - the Prophet,| والمهاجرين - and the emigrants,| والأنصار - and the helpers| الذين - [those] who| اتبعوه - followed him,| في - in| ساعة - (the) hour| العسرة - (of) difficulty| من - after| بعد - after| ما - [what]| كاد - had nearly| يزيغ - deviated| قلوب - (the) hearts| فريق - (of) a party| منهم - of them,| ثم - then| تاب - He turned (in mercy)| عليهم - to them.| إنه - Indeed, He| بهم - to them| رءوف - (is) Most Kind,| رحيم - Most Merciful.| | ||||||
| 5 [9:118] | WaAAala alththalathatiallatheena khullifoo hatta itha daqatAAalayhimu al-ardu bima rahubat wadaqatAAalayhim anfusuhum wathannoo an la maljaamina Allahi illa ilayhi thumma tabaAAalayhim liyatooboo inna Allaha huwa alttawwabualrraheemu | وعلى الثلاثة الذين خلفوا حتى إذا ضاقت عليهم الأرض بما رحبت وضاقت عليهم أنفسهم وظنوا أن لا ملجأ من الله إلا إليه ثم تاب عليهم ليتوبوا إن الله هو التواب الرحيم وَعَلَى الثَّلاَثَةِ الَّذِينَ خُلِّفُواْ حَتَّى إِذَا ضَاقَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ الْأَرْضُ بِمَا رَحُبَتْ وَضَاقَتْ عَلَيْهِمْ أَنفُسُهُمْ وَظَنُّواْ أَن لاَّ مَلْجَأَ مِنَ اللّهِ إِلاَّ إِلَيْهِ ثُمَّ تَابَ عَلَيْهِمْ لِيَتُوبُواْ إِنَّ اللّهَ هُوَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيمُ | |||||
| Words | |وعلى - And on| الثلاثة - the three| الذين - (of) those who| خلفوا - were left behind,| حتى - until| إذا - when| ضاقت - (was) straitened| عليهم - for them| الأرض - the earth,| بما - though| رحبت - it was vast.| وضاقت - And (was) straitened| عليهم - for them| أنفسهم - their own souls| وظنوا - and they were certain| أن - that| لا - (there is) no| ملجأ - refuge| من - from| الله - Allah| إلا - except| إليه - to Him.| ثم - Then| تاب - He turned (in mercy)| عليهم - to them| ليتوبوا - that they may repent.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah,| هو - He| التواب - (is) the Acceptor of repentance,| الرحيم - the Most Merciful.| | ||||||
| 6 [11:112] | Faistaqim kama omirta waman tabamaAAaka wala tatghaw innahu bima taAAmaloonabaseerun | فاستقم كما أمرت ومن تاب معك ولا تطغوا إنه بما تعملون بصير فَاسْتَقِمْ كَمَا أُمِرْتَ وَمَن تَابَ مَعَكَ وَلاَ تَطْغَوْاْ إِنَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌ | |||||
| Words | |فاستقم - So stand firm| كما - as| أمرت - you are commanded| ومن - and (those) who| تاب - turn (in repentance)| معك - with you,| ولا - and (do) not| تطغوا - transgress.| إنه - Indeed, He| بما - of what| تعملون - you do| بصير - (is) All-Seer.| | ||||||
| 7 [19:60] | Illa man taba waamanawaAAamila salihan faola-ika yadkhuloonaaljannata wala yuthlamoona shay-an | إلا من تاب وآمن وعمل صالحا فأولئك يدخلون الجنة ولا يظلمون شيئا إِلاَّ مَن تَابَ وَآمَنَ وَعَمِلَ صَالِحًا فَأُوْلَئِكَ يَدْخُلُونَ الْجَنَّةَ وَلاَ يُظْلَمُونَ شَيْئًا | |||||
| Words | |إلا - Except| من - (one) who| تاب - repented| وآمن - and believed| وعمل - and did| صالحا - good (deeds).| فأولئك - Then those| يدخلون - will enter| الجنة - Paradise| ولا - and not| يظلمون - they will be wronged| شيئا - (in) anything.| | ||||||
| 8 [20:82] | Wa-innee laghaffarun liman tabawaamana waAAamila salihan thumma ihtada | وإني لغفار لمن تاب وآمن وعمل صالحا ثم اهتدى وَإِنِّي لَغَفَّارٌ لِّمَن تَابَ وَآمَنَ وَعَمِلَ صَالِحًا ثُمَّ اهْتَدَى | |||||
| Words | |وإني - But indeed, I Am| لغفار - the Perpetual Forgiver| لمن - of whoever| تاب - repents| وآمن - and believes| وعمل - and does| صالحا - righteous (deeds)| ثم - then| اهتدى - remains guided.| | ||||||
| 9 [25:70] | Illa man taba waamanawaAAamila AAamalan salihan faola-ikayubaddilu Allahu sayyi-atihim hasanatinwakana Allahu ghafooran raheeman | إلا من تاب وآمن وعمل عملا صالحا فأولئك يبدل الله سيئاتهم حسنات وكان الله غفورا رحيما إِلَّا مَن تَابَ وَآمَنَ وَعَمِلَ عَمَلًا صَالِحًا فَأُوْلَئِكَ يُبَدِّلُ اللَّهُ سَيِّئَاتِهِمْ حَسَنَاتٍ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ غَفُورًا رَّحِيمًا | |||||
| Words | |إلا - Except| من - (he) who| تاب - repents| وآمن - and believes| وعمل - and does| عملا - righteous deeds,| صالحا - righteous deeds,| فأولئك - then (for) those| يبدل - Allah will replace| الله - Allah will replace| سيئاتهم - their evil deeds| حسنات - (with) good ones.| وكان - And is| الله - Allah| غفورا - Oft-Forgiving,| رحيما - Most Merciful.| | ||||||
| 10 [25:71] | Waman taba waAAamila salihanfa-innahu yatoobu ila Allahi mataban | ومن تاب وعمل صالحا فإنه يتوب إلى الله متابا وَمَن تَابَ وَعَمِلَ صَالِحًا فَإِنَّهُ يَتُوبُ إِلَى اللَّهِ مَتَابًا | |||||
| Words | |ومن - And whoever| تاب - repents| وعمل - and does| صالحا - righteous (deeds),| فإنه - then indeed, he| يتوب - turns| إلى - to| الله - Allah| متابا - (with) repentance.| | ||||||
| 11 [28:67] | Faamma man taba waamanawaAAamila salihan faAAasa an yakoona minaalmufliheena | فأما من تاب وآمن وعمل صالحا فعسى أن يكون من المفلحين فَأَمَّا مَن تَابَ وَآمَنَ وَعَمِلَ صَالِحًا فَعَسَى أَن يَكُونَ مِنَ الْمُفْلِحِينَ | |||||
| Words | |فأما - But as for| من - (him) who| تاب - repented| وآمن - and believed,| وعمل - and did| صالحا - righteousness,| فعسى - then perhaps| أن - [that]| يكون - he will be| من - of| المفلحين - the successful ones.| | ||||||
