| 1 [12:62] | Waqala lifityanihi ijAAaloo bidaAAatahumfee rihalihim laAAallahum yaAArifoonaha ithainqalaboo ila ahlihim laAAallahum yarjiAAoona |  وقال لفتيانه اجعلوا بضاعتهم في رحالهم لعلهم يعرفونها إذا انقلبوا إلى أهلهم لعلهم يرجعونوَقَالَ لِفِتْيَانِهِ اجْعَلُواْ بِضَاعَتَهُمْ فِي رِحَالِهِمْ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَعْرِفُونَهَا إِذَا انقَلَبُواْ إِلَى أَهْلِهِمْ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْجِعُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وقال - And he said| لفتيانه - to his servants,| اجعلوا - "Put| بضاعتهم - their merchandise| في - in| رحالهم - their saddlebags| لعلهم - so that they| يعرفونها - may recognize it| إذا - when| انقلبوا - they go back| إلى - to| أهلهم - their people| لعلهم - so that they may| يرجعون - return."| | ||||||
| 2 [12:65] | Walamma fatahoo mataAAahumwajadoo bidaAAatahum ruddat ilayhim qaloo yaabana ma nabghee hathihi bidaAAatunaruddat ilayna wanameeru ahlana wanahfathuakhana wanazdadu kayla baAAeerin thalikakaylun yaseerun | ولما فتحوا متاعهم وجدوا بضاعتهم ردت إليهم قالوا يا أبانا ما نبغي هذه بضاعتنا ردت إلينا ونمير أهلنا ونحفظ أخانا ونزداد كيل بعير ذلك كيل يسير وَلَمَّا فَتَحُواْ مَتَاعَهُمْ وَجَدُواْ بِضَاعَتَهُمْ رُدَّتْ إِلَيْهِمْ قَالُواْ يَا أَبَانَا مَا نَبْغِي هَـذِهِ بِضَاعَتُنَا رُدَّتْ إِلَيْنَا وَنَمِيرُ أَهْلَنَا وَنَحْفَظُ أَخَانَا وَنَزْدَادُ كَيْلَ بَعِيرٍ ذَلِكَ كَيْلٌ يَسِيرٌ | |||||
| Words | |ولما - And when| فتحوا - they opened| متاعهم - their baggage,| وجدوا - they found| بضاعتهم - their merchandise| ردت - returned| إليهم - to them.| قالوا - They said,| يا - O| أبانا - "O our father!| ما - What| نبغي - (could) we desire?| هذه - This| بضاعتنا - (is) our merchandise| ردت - returned| إلينا - to us.| ونمير - And we will get provision| أهلنا - (for) our family,| ونحفظ - and we will protect| أخانا - our brother| ونزداد - and get an increase| كيل - measure| بعير - (of) a camel's (load).| ذلك - That| كيل - (is) a measurement| يسير - easy."| | ||||||
