| Words | |شهد - Bears witness| الله - Allah| أنه - that [He],| لا - (there is) no| إله - god| إلا - except| هو - Him,| والملائكة - and (so do) the Angels,| وأولو - and owners| العلم - (of) [the] knowledge -| قائما - standing| بالقسط - in justice.| لا - (There is) no| إله - god| إلا - except| هو - Him| العزيز - the All-Mighty,| الحكيم - the All-Wise.| | ||||||
| 2 [3:21] | Inna allatheena yakfuroona bi-ayatiAllahi wayaqtuloona alnnabiyyeena bighayri haqqinwayaqtuloona allatheena ya/muroona bialqistimina alnnasi fabashshirhum biAAathabin aleemin | إن الذين يكفرون بآيات الله ويقتلون النبيين بغير حق ويقتلون الذين يأمرون بالقسط من الناس فبشرهم بعذاب أليم إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَكْفُرُونَ بِآيَاتِ اللّهِ وَيَقْتُلُونَ النَّبِيِّينَ بِغَيْرِ حَقٍّ وَيَقْتُلُونَ الِّذِينَ يَأْمُرُونَ بِالْقِسْطِ مِنَ النَّاسِ فَبَشِّرْهُم بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ | |||||
| Words | |إن - Indeed,| الذين - those who| يكفرون - disbelieve| بآيات - in (the) Signs (of)| الله - Allah| ويقتلون - and they kill| النبيين - the Prophets| بغير - without| حق - right| ويقتلون - and they kill| الذين - those who| يأمرون - order| بالقسط - [with] justice| من - among| الناس - the people,| فبشرهم - then give them tidings| بعذاب - of a punishment| أليم - painful.| | ||||||
| 3 [4:127] | Wayastaftoonaka fee alnnisa-iquli Allahu yufteekum feehinna wama yutlaAAalaykum fee alkitabi fee yatama alnnisa-iallatee la tu/toonahunna ma kutiba lahunnawatarghaboona an tankihoohunna waalmustadAAafeenamina alwildani waan taqoomoo lilyatama bialqistiwama tafAAaloo min khayrin fa-inna Allaha kanabihi AAaleeman | ويستفتونك في النساء قل الله يفتيكم فيهن وما يتلى عليكم في الكتاب في يتامى النساء اللاتي لا تؤتونهن ما كتب لهن وترغبون أن تنكحوهن والمستضعفين من الولدان وأن تقوموا لليتامى بالقسط وما تفعلوا من خير فإن الله كان به عليما وَيَسْتَفْتُونَكَ فِي النِّسَاءِ قُلِ اللّهُ يُفْتِيكُمْ فِيهِنَّ وَمَا يُتْلَى عَلَيْكُمْ فِي الْكِتَابِ فِي يَتَامَى النِّسَاءِ الَّاتِي لاَ تُؤْتُونَهُنَّ مَا كُتِبَ لَهُنَّ وَتَرْغَبُونَ أَن تَنكِحُوهُنَّ وَالْمُسْتَضْعَفِينَ مِنَ الْوِلْدَانِ وَأَن تَقُومُواْ لِلْيَتَامَى بِالْقِسْطِ وَمَا تَفْعَلُواْ مِنْ خَيْرٍ فَإِنَّ اللّهَ كَانَ بِهِ عَلِيمًا | |||||
| Words | |ويستفتونك - And they seek your ruling| في - concerning| النساء - the women.| قل - Say,| الله - "Allah| يفتيكم - gives you the ruling| فيهن - about them| وما - and what| يتلى - is recited| عليكم - to you| في - in| الكتاب - the Book| في - concerning| يتامى - orphans| النساء - (of) girls| اللاتي - (to) whom| لا - not| تؤتونهن - (do) you give them| ما - what| كتب - is ordained| لهن - for them| وترغبون - and you desire| أن - to| تنكحوهن - marry them,| والمستضعفين - and the ones who are weak| من - of| الولدان - the children| وأن - and to| تقوموا - stand| لليتامى - for orphans| بالقسط - with justice.| وما - And whatever| تفعلوا - you do| من - of| خير - good| فإن - then indeed,| الله - Allah| كان - is| به - about it| عليما - All-Knowing.| | ||||||
| 4 [4:135] | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanookoonoo qawwameena bialqisti shuhadaalillahi walaw AAala anfusikum awi alwalidayniwaal-aqrabeena in yakun ghaniyyan aw faqeeran faAllahuawla bihima fala tattabiAAoo alhawaan taAAdiloo wa-in talwoo aw tuAAridoo fa-inna Allahakana bima taAAmaloona khabeeran | يا أيها الذين آمنوا كونوا قوامين بالقسط شهداء لله ولو على أنفسكم أو الوالدين والأقربين إن يكن غنيا أو فقيرا فالله أولى بهما فلا تتبعوا الهوى أن تعدلوا وإن تلووا أو تعرضوا فإن الله كان بما تعملون خبيرا يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ كُونُواْ قَوَّامِينَ بِالْقِسْطِ شُهَدَاءَ لِلّهِ وَلَوْ عَلَى أَنفُسِكُمْ أَوِ الْوَالِدَيْنِ وَالْأَقْرَبِينَ إِن يَكُنْ غَنِيًّا أَوْ فَقِيرًا فَاللّهُ أَوْلَى بِهِمَا فَلاَ تَتَّبِعُواْ الْهَوَى أَن تَعْدِلُواْ وَإِن تَلْوُواْ أَوْ تُعْرِضُواْ فَإِنَّ اللّهَ كَانَ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرًا | |||||
| Words | |يا - O| أيها - O you| الذين - who| آمنوا - believe[d]!| كونوا - Be| قوامين - custodians| بالقسط - of justice| شهداء - (as) witnesses| لله - to Allah,| ولو - even if| على - (it is) against| أنفسكم - yourselves| أو - or| الوالدين - the parents| والأقربين - and the relatives.| إن - if| يكن - he be| غنيا - rich| أو - or| فقيرا - poor,| فالله - for Allah| أولى - (is) nearer| بهما - to both of them.| فلا - So (do) not| تتبعوا - follow| الهوى - the desire| أن - lest| تعدلوا - you deviate.| وإن - And if| تلووا - you distort| أو - or| تعرضوا - refrain,| فإن - then indeed,| الله - Allah| كان - is| بما - of what| تعملون - you do| خبيرا - All-Aware.| | ||||||
| 5 [5:8] | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanookoonoo qawwameena lillahi shuhadaa bialqistiwala yajrimannakum shanaanu qawmin AAala allataAAdiloo iAAdiloo huwa aqrabu lilttaqwa waittaqooAllaha inna Allaha khabeerun bima taAAmaloona | يا أيها الذين آمنوا كونوا قوامين لله شهداء بالقسط ولا يجرمنكم شنآن قوم على ألا تعدلوا اعدلوا هو أقرب للتقوى واتقوا الله إن الله خبير بما تعملون يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ كُونُواْ قَوَّامِينَ لِلّهِ شُهَدَاءَ بِالْقِسْطِ وَلاَ يَجْرِمَنَّكُمْ شَنَآنُ قَوْمٍ عَلَى أَلاَّ تَعْدِلُواْ اعْدِلُواْ هُوَ أَقْرَبُ لِلتَّقْوَى وَاتَّقُواْ اللّهَ إِنَّ اللّهَ خَبِيرٌ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |يا - O| أيها - O you| الذين - who| آمنوا - believe!| كونوا - Be| قوامين - steadfast| لله - for Allah| شهداء - (as) witnesses| بالقسط - in justice,| ولا - and let not| يجرمنكم - prevent you| شنآن - hatred| قوم - (of) a people| على - [upon]| ألا - that not| تعدلوا - you do justice.| اعدلوا - Be just| هو - it| أقرب - (is) nearer| للتقوى - to [the] piety.| واتقوا - And fear| الله - Allah;| إن - indeed,| الله - Allah| خبير - (is) All-Aware| بما - of what| تعملون - you do.| | ||||||
| 6 [5:42] | SammaAAoona lilkathibi akkaloonalilssuhti fa-in jaooka faohkumbaynahum aw aAArid AAanhum wa-in tuAArid AAanhumfalan yadurrooka shay-an wa-in hakamta faohkumbaynahum bialqisti inna Allaha yuhibbualmuqsiteena | سماعون للكذب أكالون للسحت فإن جاءوك فاحكم بينهم أو أعرض عنهم وإن تعرض عنهم فلن يضروك شيئا وإن حكمت فاحكم بينهم بالقسط إن الله يحب المقسطين سَمَّاعُونَ لِلْكَذِبِ أَكَّالُونَ لِلسُّحْتِ فَإِن جَآؤُوكَ فَاحْكُم بَيْنَهُم أَوْ أَعْرِضْ عَنْهُمْ وَإِن تُعْرِضْ عَنْهُمْ فَلَن يَضُرُّوكَ شَيْئًا وَإِنْ حَكَمْتَ فَاحْكُم بَيْنَهُمْ بِالْقِسْطِ إِنَّ اللّهَ يُحِبُّ الْمُقْسِطِينَ | |||||
| Words | |سماعون - Listeners| للكذب - to [the] falsehood,| أكالون - devourers| للسحت - of the forbidden.| فإن - So if| جاءوك - they come to you| فاحكم - then judge| بينهم - between them| أو - or| أعرض - turn away| عنهم - from them.| وإن - And if| تعرض - you turn away| عنهم - from them,| فلن - then never| يضروك - will they harm you| شيئا - (in) anything.| وإن - And if| حكمت - you judge,| فاحكم - then judge| بينهم - between them| بالقسط - with [the] justice.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| يحب - loves| المقسطين - the ones who are just.| | ||||||
| 7 [6:152] | Wala taqraboo mala alyateemiilla biallatee hiya ahsanu hattayablugha ashuddahu waawfoo alkayla waalmeezana bialqistila nukallifu nafsan illa wusAAaha wa-ithaqultum faiAAdiloo walaw kana tha qurbawabiAAahdi Allahi awfoo thalikum wassakumbihi laAAallakum tathakkaroona | ولا تقربوا مال اليتيم إلا بالتي هي أحسن حتى يبلغ أشده وأوفوا الكيل والميزان بالقسط لا نكلف نفسا إلا وسعها وإذا قلتم فاعدلوا ولو كان ذا قربى وبعهد الله أوفوا ذلكم وصاكم به لعلكم تذكرون وَلاَ تَقْرَبُواْ مَالَ الْيَتِيمِ إِلاَّ بِالَّتِي هِيَ أَحْسَنُ حَتَّى يَبْلُغَ أَشُدَّهُ وَأَوْفُواْ الْكَيْلَ وَالْمِيزَانَ بِالْقِسْطِ لاَ نُكَلِّفُ نَفْسًا إِلاَّ وُسْعَهَا وَإِذَا قُلْتُمْ فَاعْدِلُواْ وَلَوْ كَانَ ذَا قُرْبَى وَبِعَهْدِ اللّهِ أَوْفُواْ ذَلِكُمْ وَصَّاكُم بِهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَذَكَّرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ولا - And (do) not| تقربوا - go near| مال - wealth| اليتيم - (of) the orphans| إلا - except| بالتي - with that| هي - which| أحسن - (is) best| حتى - until| يبلغ - he reaches| أشده - his maturity.| وأوفوا - And give full| الكيل - [the] measure| والميزان - and the weight| بالقسط - with justice.| لا - Not| نكلف - We burden| نفسا - any soul| إلا - except| وسعها - (to) its capacity.| وإذا - And when| قلتم - you speak| فاعدلوا - then be just| ولو - even if| كان - he is| ذا - (one of).| قربى - a near relative.| وبعهد - And (the) Covenant| الله - (of) Allah| أوفوا - fulfil.| ذلكم - That| وصاكم - (He) has enjoined on you| به - with it| لعلكم - so that you may| تذكرون - remember.| | ||||||
| 8 [7:29] | Qul amara rabbee bialqistiwaaqeemoo wujoohakum AAinda kulli masjidin waodAAoohumukhliseena lahu alddeena kama badaakumtaAAoodoona | قل أمر ربي بالقسط وأقيموا وجوهكم عند كل مسجد وادعوه مخلصين له الدين كما بدأكم تعودون قُلْ أَمَرَ رَبِّي بِالْقِسْطِ وَأَقِيمُواْ وُجُوهَكُمْ عِندَ كُلِّ مَسْجِدٍ وَادْعُوهُ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ الدِّينَ كَمَا بَدَأَكُمْ تَعُودُونَ | |||||
| Words | |قل - Say,| أمر - "(Has been) ordered| ربي - (by) my Lord,| بالقسط - justice| وأقيموا - and set| وجوهكم - your faces| عند - at| كل - every| مسجد - masjid| وادعوه - and invoke Him| مخلصين - (being) sincere| له - to Him| الدين - (in) the religion.| كما - As| بدأكم - He originated you| تعودون - (so) will you return."| | ||||||
| 9 [10:4] | Ilayhi marjiAAukum jameeAAan waAAda Allahihaqqan innahu yabdao alkhalqa thumma yuAAeeduhu liyajziyaallatheena amanoo waAAamiloo alssalihatibialqisti waallatheena kafaroo lahumsharabun min hameemin waAAathabun aleemunbima kanoo yakfuroona | إليه مرجعكم جميعا وعد الله حقا إنه يبدأ الخلق ثم يعيده ليجزي الذين آمنوا وعملوا الصالحات بالقسط والذين كفروا لهم شراب من حميم وعذاب أليم بما كانوا يكفرون إِلَيْهِ مَرْجِعُكُمْ جَمِيعًا وَعْدَ اللّهِ حَقًّا إِنَّهُ يَبْدَأُ الْخَلْقَ ثُمَّ يُعِيدُهُ لِيَجْزِيَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ الصَّالِحَاتِ بِالْقِسْطِ وَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ لَهُمْ شَرَابٌ مِّنْ حَمِيمٍ وَعَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ بِمَا كَانُواْ يَكْفُرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |إليه - To Him,| مرجعكم - (will be) your return| جميعا - [all].| وعد - Promise| الله - (of) Allah| حقا - (is) true.| إنه - Indeed, He| يبدأ - originates| الخلق - the creation,| ثم - then| يعيده - He repeats it,| ليجزي - that He may reward| الذين - those who| آمنوا - believed| وعملوا - and did| الصالحات - the good deeds,| بالقسط - in justice.| والذين - But those who| كفروا - disbelieved,| لهم - for them| شراب - (will be) a drink| من - of| حميم - boiling fluids| وعذاب - and a punishment| أليم - painful,| بما - because| كانوا - they used (to)| يكفرون - disbelieve.| | ||||||
| 10 [10:47] | Walikulli ommatin rasoolun fa-itha jaarasooluhum qudiya baynahum bialqisti wahum layuthlamoona | ولكل أمة رسول فإذا جاء رسولهم قضي بينهم بالقسط وهم لا يظلمون وَلِكُلِّ أُمَّةٍ رَّسُولٌ فَإِذَا جَاءَ رَسُولُهُمْ قُضِيَ بَيْنَهُم بِالْقِسْطِ وَهُمْ لاَ يُظْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ولكل - And for every| أمة - nation| رسول - (is) a Messenger.| فإذا - So when| جاء - comes| رسولهم - their Messenger,| قضي - it will be judged| بينهم - between them| بالقسط - in justice,| وهم - and they| لا - (will) not| يظلمون - be wronged.| | ||||||
| 11 [10:54] | Walaw anna likulli nafsin thalamatma fee al-ardi laiftadat bihi waasarroo alnnadamatalamma raawoo alAAathaba waqudiya baynahum bialqistiwahum la yuthlamoona | ولو أن لكل نفس ظلمت ما في الأرض لافتدت به وأسروا الندامة لما رأوا العذاب وقضي بينهم بالقسط وهم لا يظلمون وَلَوْ أَنَّ لِكُلِّ نَفْسٍ ظَلَمَتْ مَا فِي الْأَرْضِ لاَفْتَدَتْ بِهِ وَأَسَرُّواْ النَّدَامَةَ لَمَّا رَأَوُاْ الْعَذَابَ وَقُضِيَ بَيْنَهُم بِالْقِسْطِ وَهُمْ لاَ يُظْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ولو - And if| أن - that| لكل - for every| نفس - soul| ظلمت - (that) wronged,| ما - whatever| في - (is) in| الأرض - the earth,| لافتدت - it (would) seek to ransom| به - with it,| وأسروا - and they (will) confide| الندامة - the regret| لما - when| رأوا - they see| العذاب - the punishment.| وقضي - But will be judged| بينهم - between them| بالقسط - in justice,| وهم - and they| لا - (will) not| يظلمون - (be) wronged.| | ||||||
| 12 [11:85] | Waya qawmi awfoo almikyala waalmeezanabialqisti wala tabkhasoo alnnasaashyaahum wala taAAthaw fee al-ardimufsideena | ويا قوم أوفوا المكيال والميزان بالقسط ولا تبخسوا الناس أشياءهم ولا تعثوا في الأرض مفسدين وَيَا قَوْمِ أَوْفُواْ الْمِكْيَالَ وَالْمِيزَانَ بِالْقِسْطِ وَلاَ تَبْخَسُواْ النَّاسَ أَشْيَاءَهُمْ وَلاَ تَعْثَوْاْ فِي الْأَرْضِ مُفْسِدِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ويا - And O| قوم - And O my people!| أوفوا - Give full| المكيال - measure,| والميزان - and weight| بالقسط - in justice| ولا - and (do) not| تبخسوا - deprive| الناس - the people| أشياءهم - (of) their things,| ولا - and (do) not| تعثوا - act wickedly| في - in| الأرض - the earth| مفسدين - spreading corruption.| | ||||||
| 13 [55:9] | Waaqeemoo alwazna bialqisti walatukhsiroo almeezana | وأقيموا الوزن بالقسط ولا تخسروا الميزان وَأَقِيمُوا الْوَزْنَ بِالْقِسْطِ وَلَا تُخْسِرُوا الْمِيزَانَ | |||||
| Words | |وأقيموا - And establish| الوزن - the weight| بالقسط - in justice| ولا - and (do) not| تخسروا - make deficient| الميزان - the balance.| | ||||||
| 14 [57:25] | Laqad arsalna rusulana bialbayyinatiwaanzalna maAAahumu alkitaba waalmeezanaliyaqooma alnnasu bialqisti waanzalnaalhadeeda feehi ba/sun shadeedun wamanafiAAu lilnnasiwaliyaAAlama Allahu man yansuruhu warusulahu bialghaybiinna Allaha qawiyyun AAazeezun | لقد أرسلنا رسلنا بالبينات وأنزلنا معهم الكتاب والميزان ليقوم الناس بالقسط وأنزلنا الحديد فيه بأس شديد ومنافع للناس وليعلم الله من ينصره ورسله بالغيب إن الله قوي عزيز لَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا رُسُلَنَا بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ وَأَنزَلْنَا مَعَهُمُ الْكِتَابَ وَالْمِيزَانَ لِيَقُومَ النَّاسُ بِالْقِسْطِ وَأَنزَلْنَا الْحَدِيدَ فِيهِ بَأْسٌ شَدِيدٌ وَمَنَافِعُ لِلنَّاسِ وَلِيَعْلَمَ اللَّهُ مَن يَنصُرُهُ وَرُسُلَهُ بِالْغَيْبِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ قَوِيٌّ عَزِيزٌ | |||||
| Words | |لقد - Certainly| أرسلنا - We sent| رسلنا - Our Messengers| بالبينات - with clear proofs| وأنزلنا - and We sent down| معهم - with them| الكتاب - the Scripture| والميزان - and the Balance| ليقوم - that may establish| الناس - the people| بالقسط - justice.| وأنزلنا - And We sent down| الحديد - [the] iron,| فيه - wherein| بأس - (is) power| شديد - mighty| ومنافع - and benefits| للناس - for the people,| وليعلم - and so that Allah may make evident| الله - and so that Allah may make evident| من - (he) who| ينصره - helps Him| ورسله - and His Messengers,| بالغيب - unseen.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| قوي - (is) All-Strong| عزيز - All-Mighty.| | ||||||
