| 1 [3:9] | Rabbana innaka jamiAAu alnnasiliyawmin la rayba feehi inna Allaha layukhlifu almeeAAada |  ربنا إنك جامع الناس ليوم لا ريب فيه إن الله لا يخلف الميعادرَبَّنَا إِنَّكَ جَامِعُ النَّاسِ لِيَوْمٍ لاَّ رَيْبَ فِيهِ إِنَّ اللّهَ لاَ يُخْلِفُ الْمِيعَادَ | |||||
| Words | |ربنا - Our Lord!| إنك - Indeed, You| جامع - will gather| الناس - [the] mankind| ليوم - on a Day,| لا - (there is) no| ريب - doubt| فيه - in it.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| لا - (does) not| يخلف - break| الميعاد - the Promise."| | ||||||
| 2 [3:194] | Rabbana waatina mawaAAadtana AAala rusulika wala tukhzinayawma alqiyamati innaka la tukhlifu almeeAAada | ربنا وآتنا ما وعدتنا على رسلك ولا تخزنا يوم القيامة إنك لا تخلف الميعاد رَبَّنَا وَآتِنَا مَا وَعَدتَّنَا عَلَى رُسُلِكَ وَلاَ تُخْزِنَا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ إِنَّكَ لاَ تُخْلِفُ الْمِيعَادَ | |||||
| Words | |ربنا - Our Lord,| وآتنا - grant us| ما - what| وعدتنا - You promised us| على - through| رسلك - Your Messengers| ولا - and (do) not| تخزنا - disgrace us| يوم - (on the) Day| القيامة - (of) [the] Resurrection.| إنك - Indeed, You| لا - (do) not| تخلف - break| الميعاد - the promise."| | ||||||
| 3 [8:42] | Ith antum bialAAudwati alddunyawahum bialAAudwati alquswa waalrrakbuasfala minkum walaw tawaAAadtum laikhtalaftum feealmeeAAadi walakin liyaqdiya Allahuamran kana mafAAoolan liyahlika man halaka AAan bayyinatinwayahya man hayya AAan bayyinatin wa-innaAllaha lasameeAAun AAaleemun | إذ أنتم بالعدوة الدنيا وهم بالعدوة القصوى والركب أسفل منكم ولو تواعدتم لاختلفتم في الميعاد ولكن ليقضي الله أمرا كان مفعولا ليهلك من هلك عن بينة ويحيى من حي عن بينة وإن الله لسميع عليم إِذْ أَنتُم بِالْعُدْوَةِ الدُّنْيَا وَهُم بِالْعُدْوَةِ الْقُصْوَى وَالرَّكْبُ أَسْفَلَ مِنكُمْ وَلَوْ تَوَاعَدتَّمْ لاَخْتَلَفْتُمْ فِي الْمِيعَادِ وَلَـكِن لِّيَقْضِيَ اللّهُ أَمْراً كَانَ مَفْعُولاً لِّيَهْلِكَ مَنْ هَلَكَ عَن بَيِّنَةٍ وَيَحْيَى مَنْ حَيَّ عَن بَيِّنَةٍ وَإِنَّ اللّهَ لَسَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |إذ - When| أنتم - you (were)| بالعدوة - on side of the valley,| الدنيا - the nearer| وهم - and they| بالعدوة - (were) on the side,| القصوى - the farther| والركب - and the caravan| أسفل - (was) lower| منكم - than you.| ولو - And if| تواعدتم - you (had) made an appointment| لاختلفتم - certainly you would have failed| في - in| الميعاد - the appointment.| ولكن - But| ليقضي - that might accomplish| الله - Allah| أمرا - a matter| كان - (that) was| مفعولا - destined,| ليهلك - that (might be) destroyed| من - (those) who| هلك - (were to be) destroyed| عن - on| بينة - a clear evidence| ويحيى - and (might) live| من - (those) who| حي - (were to) live| عن - on| بينة - a clear evidence.| وإن - And indeed,| الله - Allah| لسميع - (is) All-Hearing,| عليم - All-Knowing.| | ||||||
| 4 [13:31] | Walaw anna qur-anan suyyirat bihialjibalu aw quttiAAat bihi al-ardu awkullima bihi almawta bal lillahi al-amru jameeAAanafalam yay-asi allatheena amanoo an law yashaoAllahu lahada alnnasa jameeAAan walayazalu allatheena kafaroo tuseebuhum bimasanaAAoo qariAAatun aw tahullu qareeban mindarihim hatta ya/tiya waAAdu Allahiinna Allaha la yukhlifu almeeAAada | ولو أن قرآنا سيرت به الجبال أو قطعت به الأرض أو كلم به الموتى بل لله الأمر جميعا أفلم ييأس الذين آمنوا أن لو يشاء الله لهدى الناس جميعا ولا يزال الذين كفروا تصيبهم بما صنعوا قارعة أو تحل قريبا من دارهم حتى يأتي وعد الله إن الله لا يخلف الميعاد وَلَوْ أَنَّ قُرْآنًا سُيِّرَتْ بِهِ الْجِبَالُ أَوْ قُطِّعَتْ بِهِ الْأَرْضُ أَوْ كُلِّمَ بِهِ الْمَوْتَى بَل لِّلّهِ الْأَمْرُ جَمِيعًا أَفَلَمْ يَيْأَسِ الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ أَن لَّوْ يَشَاءُ اللّهُ لَهَدَى النَّاسَ جَمِيعًا وَلاَ يَزَالُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ تُصِيبُهُم بِمَا صَنَعُواْ قَارِعَةٌ أَوْ تَحُلُّ قَرِيبًا مِّن دَارِهِمْ حَتَّى يَأْتِيَ وَعْدُ اللّهِ إِنَّ اللّهَ لاَ يُخْلِفُ الْمِيعَادَ | |||||
| Words | |ولو - And if| أن - that was| قرآنا - any Quran,| سيرت - could be moved| به - by it| الجبال - the mountains,| أو - or| قطعت - could be cloven asunder| به - by it| الأرض - the earth,| أو - or| كلم - could be made to speak| به - by it| الموتى - the dead.| بل - Nay,| لله - with Allah| الأمر - (is) the command| جميعا - all.| أفلم - Then do not| ييأس - know| الذين - those who| آمنوا - believe| أن - that| لو - if| يشاء - had willed| الله - Allah,| لهدى - surely, He would have guided| الناس - all?| جميعا - all of the mankind?| ولا - And not| يزال - will cease| الذين - those who| كفروا - disbelieve| تصيبهم - to strike them| بما - for what| صنعوا - they did| قارعة - a disaster,| أو - or| تحل - it settles| قريبا - close| من - from| دارهم - their homes| حتى - until| يأتي - comes| وعد - (the) promise| الله - (of) Allah.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| لا - (will) not| يخلف - fail| الميعاد - (in) the Promise.| | ||||||
| 5 [39:20] | Lakini allatheena ittaqawrabbahum lahum ghurafun min fawqiha ghurafun mabniyyatuntajree min tahtiha al-anharu waAAda Allahila yukhlifu Allahu almeeAAada | لكن الذين اتقوا ربهم لهم غرف من فوقها غرف مبنية تجري من تحتها الأنهار وعد الله لا يخلف الله الميعاد لَكِنِ الَّذِينَ اتَّقَوْا رَبَّهُمْ لَهُمْ غُرَفٌ مِّن فَوْقِهَا غُرَفٌ مَّبْنِيَّةٌ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ وَعْدَ اللَّهِ لَا يُخْلِفُ اللَّهُ الْمِيعَادَ | |||||
| Words | |لكن - But| الذين - those who| اتقوا - fear| ربهم - their Lord,| لهم - for them| غرف - (are) lofty mansions,| من - above them| فوقها - above them| غرف - lofty mansions| مبنية - built high,| تجري - flow| من - from| تحتها - beneath it| الأنهار - the rivers.| وعد - (The) Promise| الله - (of) Allah.| لا - Not| يخلف - Allah fails| الله - Allah fails| الميعاد - (in His) promise.| | ||||||
