| 1 [2:35] | Waqulna ya adamu oskunanta wazawjuka aljannata wakula minha raghadan haythushi/tuma wala taqraba hathihi alshshajaratafatakoona mina alththalimeena |  وقلنا يا آدم اسكن أنت وزوجك الجنة وكلا منها رغدا حيث شئتما ولا تقربا هذه الشجرة فتكونا من الظالمينوَقُلْنَا يَا آدَمُ اسْكُنْ أَنتَ وَزَوْجُكَ الْجَنَّةَ وَكُلاَ مِنْهَا رَغَداً حَيْثُ شِئْتُمَا وَلاَ تَقْرَبَا هَـذِهِ الشَّجَرَةَ فَتَكُونَا مِنَ الْظَّالِمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وقلنا - And We said,| يا - O| آدم - "O Adam!| اسكن - Dwell| أنت - you| وزوجك - and your spouse| الجنة - (in) Paradise,| وكلا - and [you both] eat| منها - from it| رغدا - freely| حيث - (from) wherever| شئتما - you [both] wish.| ولا - But do not| تقربا - [you two] approach| هذه - this| الشجرة - [the] tree,| فتكونا - lest you [both] be| من - of| الظالمين - the wrongdoers."| | ||||||
| 2 [2:124] | Wa-ithi ibtala ibraheemarabbuhu bikalimatin faatammahunna qala innee jaAAilukalilnnasi imaman qala wamin thurriyyateeqala la yanalu AAahdee alththalimeena | وإذ ابتلى إبراهيم ربه بكلمات فأتمهن قال إني جاعلك للناس إماما قال ومن ذريتي قال لا ينال عهدي الظالمين وَإِذِ ابْتَلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ رَبُّهُ بِكَلِمَاتٍ فَأَتَمَّهُنَّ قَالَ إِنِّي جَاعِلُكَ لِلنَّاسِ إِمَامًا قَالَ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِي قَالَ لاَ يَنَالُ عَهْدِي الظَّالِمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وإذ - And when| ابتلى - tried| إبراهيم - Ibrahim| ربه - his Lord| بكلمات - with words| فأتمهن - and he fulfilled them,| قال - He said,| إني - "Indeed I| جاعلك - (am) the One to make you| للناس - for the mankind| إماما - a leader."| قال - He said,| ومن - "And from| ذريتي - my offspring?"| قال - He said,| لا - "(Does) not| ينال - reach| عهدي - My Covenant| الظالمين - (to) the wrongdoers."| | ||||||
| 3 [2:145] | Wala-in atayta allatheena ootooalkitaba bikulli ayatin ma tabiAAooqiblataka wama anta bitabiAAin qiblatahum wamabaAAduhum bitabiAAin qiblata baAAdinwala-ini ittabaAAta ahwaahum min baAAdi ma jaakamina alAAilmi innaka ithan lamina alththalimeena | ولئن أتيت الذين أوتوا الكتاب بكل آية ما تبعوا قبلتك وما أنت بتابع قبلتهم وما بعضهم بتابع قبلة بعض ولئن اتبعت أهواءهم من بعد ما جاءك من العلم إنك إذا لمن الظالمين وَلَئِنْ أَتَيْتَ الَّذِينَ أُوْتُواْ الْكِتَابَ بِكُلِّ آيَةٍ مَّا تَبِعُواْ قِبْلَتَكَ وَمَا أَنتَ بِتَابِعٍ قِبْلَتَهُمْ وَمَا بَعْضُهُم بِتَابِعٍ قِبْلَةَ بَعْضٍ وَلَئِنِ اتَّبَعْتَ أَهْوَاءَهُم مِّن بَعْدِ مَا جَاءَكَ مِنَ الْعِلْمِ إِنَّكَ إِذاً لَّمِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ولئن - And even if| أتيت - you come| الذين - (to) those who| أوتوا - were given| الكتاب - the Book| بكل - with all| آية - (the) signs,| ما - not| تبعوا - they would follow| قبلتك - your direction of prayer,| وما - and not| أنت - (will) you (be)| بتابع - a follower| قبلتهم - (of) their direction of prayer.| وما - And not| بعضهم - some of them| بتابع - (are) followers| قبلة - (of the) direction of prayer| بعض - (of each) other.| ولئن - And if| اتبعت - you followed| أهواءهم - their desires| من - from| بعد - after| ما - [what]| جاءك - came to you| من - of| العلم - the knowledge,| إنك - indeed, you| إذا - (would) then| لمن - (be) surely among| الظالمين - the wrongdoers.| | ||||||
| 4 [2:193] | Waqatiloohum hatta latakoona fitnatun wayakoona alddeenu lillahi fa-iniintahaw fala AAudwana illa AAala alththalimeena | وقاتلوهم حتى لا تكون فتنة ويكون الدين لله فإن انتهوا فلا عدوان إلا على الظالمين وَقَاتِلُوهُمْ حَتَّى لاَ تَكُونَ فِتْنَةٌ وَيَكُونَ الدِّينُ لِلّهِ فَإِنِ انتَهَواْ فَلاَ عُدْوَانَ إِلاَّ عَلَى الظَّالِمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وقاتلوهم - And fight (against) them| حتى - until| لا - not| تكون - (there) is| فتنة - oppression,| ويكون - and becomes| الدين - the religion| لله - for Allah| فإن - Then if| انتهوا - they cease| فلا - then (let there be) no| عدوان - hostility| إلا - except| على - against| الظالمين - the oppressors.| | ||||||
| 5 [2:258] | Alam tara ila allathee hajjaibraheema fee rabbihi an atahu Allahualmulka ith qala ibraheemu rabbiya allatheeyuhyee wayumeetu qala ana ohyeewaomeetu qala ibraheemu fa-inna Allahaya/tee bialshshamsi mina almashriqi fa/ti biha minaalmaghribi fabuhita allathee kafara waAllahula yahdee alqawma alththalimeena | ألم تر إلى الذي حاج إبراهيم في ربه أن آتاه الله الملك إذ قال إبراهيم ربي الذي يحيي ويميت قال أنا أحيي وأميت قال إبراهيم فإن الله يأتي بالشمس من المشرق فأت بها من المغرب فبهت الذي كفر والله لا يهدي القوم الظالمين أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى الَّذِي حَآجَّ إِبْرَاهِيمَ فِي رَبِّهِ أَنْ آتَاهُ اللّهُ الْمُلْكَ إِذْ قَالَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ رَبِّيَ الَّذِي يُحْيِـي وَيُمِيتُ قَالَ أَنَا أُحْيِـي وَأُمِيتُ قَالَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ فَإِنَّ اللّهَ يَأْتِي بِالشَّمْسِ مِنَ الْمَشْرِقِ فَأْتِ بِهَا مِنَ الْمَغْرِبِ فَبُهِتَ الَّذِي كَفَرَ وَاللّهُ لاَ يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الظَّالِمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ألم - Did not| تر - you see| إلى - [towards]| الذي - the one who| حاج - argued| إبراهيم - (with) Ibrahim| في - concerning| ربه - his Lord,| أن - because| آتاه - gave him| الله - Allah| الملك - the kingdom?| إذ - When| قال - Said| إبراهيم - Ibrahim,| ربي - "My Lord| الذي - (is) the One Who| يحيي - grants life| ويميت - and causes death."| قال - He said,| أنا - "I| أحيي - give life| وأميت - and cause death."| قال - Said| إبراهيم - Ibrahim,| فإن - "[Then] indeed| الله - Allah| يأتي - brings up| بالشمس - the sun| من - from| المشرق - the east,| فأت - so you bring| بها - it| من - from| المغرب - the west."| فبهت - So became dumbfounded| الذي - the one who| كفر - disbelieved,| والله - and Allah| لا - (does) not| يهدي - guide| القوم - the people| الظالمين - (who are) [the] wrongdoers.| | ||||||
| 6 [3:57] | Waamma allatheena amanoowaAAamiloo alssalihati fayuwaffeehimojoorahum waAllahu la yuhibbu alththalimeena | وأما الذين آمنوا وعملوا الصالحات فيوفيهم أجورهم والله لا يحب الظالمين وَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُواْ الصَّالِحَاتِ فَيُوَفِّيهِمْ أُجُورَهُمْ وَاللّهُ لاَ يُحِبُّ الظَّالِمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وأما - And as for| الذين - those who| آمنوا - believe[d]| وعملوا - and did| الصالحات - [the] righteous deeds| فيوفيهم - then He will grant them in full| أجورهم - their reward.| والله - And Allah| لا - (does) not| يحب - love| الظالمين - the wrongdoers.| | ||||||
| 7 [3:86] | Kayfa yahdee Allahu qawman kafaroobaAAda eemanihim washahidoo anna alrrasoola haqqunwajaahumu albayyinatu waAllahu layahdee alqawma alththalimeena | كيف يهدي الله قوما كفروا بعد إيمانهم وشهدوا أن الرسول حق وجاءهم البينات والله لا يهدي القوم الظالمين كَيْفَ يَهْدِي اللّهُ قَوْمًا كَفَرُواْ بَعْدَ إِيمَانِهِمْ وَشَهِدُواْ أَنَّ الرَّسُولَ حَقٌّ وَجَاءَهُمُ الْبَيِّنَاتُ وَاللّهُ لاَ يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الظَّالِمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |كيف - How| يهدي - (shall) guide| الله - Allah| قوما - a people| كفروا - (who) disbelieved| بعد - after| إيمانهم - their belief| وشهدوا - and (had) witnessed| أن - that| الرسول - the Messenger| حق - (is) true,| وجاءهم - and came to them| البينات - the clear proofs?| والله - And Allah| لا - (does) not| يهدي - guide| القوم - the people| الظالمين - [the] wrongdoers.| | ||||||
| 8 [3:140] | In yamsaskum qarhun faqad massaalqawma qarhun mithluhu watilka al-ayyamu nudawiluhabayna alnnasi waliyaAAlama Allahu allatheenaamanoo wayattakhitha minkum shuhadaa waAllahula yuhibbu alththalimeena | إن يمسسكم قرح فقد مس القوم قرح مثله وتلك الأيام نداولها بين الناس وليعلم الله الذين آمنوا ويتخذ منكم شهداء والله لا يحب الظالمين إِن يَمْسَسْكُمْ قَرْحٌ فَقَدْ مَسَّ الْقَوْمَ قَرْحٌ مِّثْلُهُ وَتِلْكَ الْأَيَّامُ نُدَاوِلُهَا بَيْنَ النَّاسِ وَلِيَعْلَمَ اللّهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ وَيَتَّخِذَ مِنكُمْ شُهَدَاءَ وَاللّهُ لاَ يُحِبُّ الظَّالِمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |إن - If| يمسسكم - touched you| قرح - a wound,| فقد - so certainly| مس - (has) touched| القوم - the people| قرح - wound| مثله - like it.| وتلك - And this| الأيام - [the] days| نداولها - We alternate them| بين - among| الناس - the people| وليعلم - [and] so that makes evident| الله - Allah| الذين - those who| آمنوا - believe[d]| ويتخذ - and take| منكم - from you| شهداء - martyrs.| والله - And Allah| لا - (does) not| يحب - love| الظالمين - the wrongdoers.| | ||||||
| 9 [3:151] | Sanulqee fee quloobi allatheenakafaroo alrruAAba bima ashrakoo biAllahima lam yunazzil bihi sultanan wama/wahumu alnnaruwabi/sa mathwa alththalimeena | سنلقي في قلوب الذين كفروا الرعب بما أشركوا بالله ما لم ينزل به سلطانا ومأواهم النار وبئس مثوى الظالمين سَنُلْقِي فِي قُلُوبِ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ الرُّعْبَ بِمَا أَشْرَكُواْ بِاللّهِ مَا لَمْ يُنَزِّلْ بِهِ سُلْطَانًا وَمَأْوَاهُمُ النَّارُ وَبِئْسَ مَثْوَى الظَّالِمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |سنلقي - We will cast| في - in| قلوب - (the) hearts| الذين - (of) those who| كفروا - disbelieve| الرعب - [the] terror| بما - because| أشركوا - they associated partners| بالله - with Allah,| ما - what| لم - not| ينزل - He sent down| به - about it| سلطانا - any authority,| ومأواهم - and their refuge| النار - (will be) the Fire| وبئس - and wretched| مثوى - (is the) abode| الظالمين - [of] the wrongdoers.| | ||||||
| 10 [5:29] | Innee oreedu an taboo-a bi-ithmee wa-ithmikafatakoona min as-habi alnnari wathalikajazao alththalimeena | إني أريد أن تبوء بإثمي وإثمك فتكون من أصحاب النار وذلك جزاء الظالمين إِنِّي أُرِيدُ أَن تَبُوءَ بِإِثْمِي وَإِثْمِكَ فَتَكُونَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّارِ وَذَلِكَ جَزَاءُ الظَّالِمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |إني - "Indeed, I| أريد - wish| أن - that| تبوء - you be laden| بإثمي - with my sin| وإثمك - and your sin| فتكون - so you will be| من - among| أصحاب - (the) companions| النار - (of) the Fire,| وذلك - and that| جزاء - (is the) recompense| الظالمين - (of) the wrong-doers."| | ||||||
| 11 [5:51] | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoola tattakhithoo alyahooda waalnnasaraawliyaa baAAduhum awliyao baAAdinwaman yatawallahum minkum fa-innahu minhum inna Allaha layahdee alqawma alththalimeena | يا أيها الذين آمنوا لا تتخذوا اليهود والنصارى أولياء بعضهم أولياء بعض ومن يتولهم منكم فإنه منهم إن الله لا يهدي القوم الظالمين يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ لاَ تَتَّخِذُواْ الْيَهُودَ وَالنَّصَارَى أَوْلِيَاءَ بَعْضُهُمْ أَوْلِيَاءُ بَعْضٍ وَمَن يَتَوَلَّهُم مِّنكُمْ فَإِنَّهُ مِنْهُمْ إِنَّ اللّهَ لاَ يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الظَّالِمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |يا - O| أيها - O you| الذين - who| آمنوا - believe!| لا - (Do) not| تتخذوا - take| اليهود - the Jews| والنصارى - and the Christians| أولياء - (as) allies.| بعضهم - Some of them| أولياء - (are) allies| بعض - (to) others.| ومن - And whoever| يتولهم - takes them as allies| منكم - among you,| فإنه - then indeed, he| منهم - (is) of them.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| لا - (does) not| يهدي - guide| القوم - the people,| الظالمين - the wrongdoing.| | ||||||
| 12 [5:107] | Fa-in AAuthira AAala annahumaistahaqqa ithman faakharani yaqoomanimaqamahuma mina allatheena istahaqqaAAalayhimu al-awlayani fayuqsimani biAllahilashahadatuna ahaqqu min shahadatihimawama iAAtadayna inna ithan lamina alththalimeena | فإن عثر على أنهما استحقا إثما فآخران يقومان مقامهما من الذين استحق عليهم الأوليان فيقسمان بالله لشهادتنا أحق من شهادتهما وما اعتدينا إنا إذا لمن الظالمين فَإِنْ عُثِرَ عَلَى أَنَّهُمَا اسْتَحَقَّا إِثْمًا فَآخَرَانِ يِقُومَانُ مَقَامَهُمَا مِنَ الَّذِينَ اسْتَحَقَّ عَلَيْهِمُ الأَوْلَيَانِ فَيُقْسِمَانِ بِاللّهِ لَشَهَادَتُنَا أَحَقُّ مِن شَهَادَتِهِمَا وَمَا اعْتَدَيْنَا إِنَّا إِذًا لَّمِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |فإن - Then if| عثر - it is discovered| على - (on)| أنهما - that the two| استحقا - (were) guilty| إثما - (of) sin,| فآخران - then (let) two others| يقومان - stand| مقامهما - (in) their place| من - from| الذين - those who| استحق - have a lawful right| عليهم - over them -| الأوليان - the former two -| فيقسمان - and let them both swear| بالله - by Allah| لشهادتنا - "Surely our testimony| أحق - (is) truer| من - than| شهادتهما - testimony of the other two| وما - and not| اعتدينا - we have transgressed.| إنا - Indeed, we| إذا - then| لمن - (will be) of| الظالمين - the wrongdoers."| | ||||||
| 13 [6:33] | Qad naAAlamu innahu layahzunuka allatheeyaqooloona fa-innahum la yukaththiboonaka walakinnaalththalimeena bi-ayatiAllahi yajhadoona | قد نعلم إنه ليحزنك الذي يقولون فإنهم لا يكذبونك ولكن الظالمين بآيات الله يجحدون قَدْ نَعْلَمُ إِنَّهُ لَيَحْزُنُكَ الَّذِي يَقُولُونَ فَإِنَّهُمْ لاَ يُكَذِّبُونَكَ وَلَكِنَّ الظَّالِمِينَ بِآيَاتِ اللّهِ يَجْحَدُونَ | |||||
| Words | |قد - Indeed,| نعلم - We know| إنه - that it| ليحزنك - grieves you| الذي - what| يقولون - they say.| فإنهم - And indeed, they| لا - (do) not| يكذبونك - deny you| ولكن - but| الظالمين - the wrongdoers -| بآيات - the Verses| الله - (of) Allah| يجحدون - they reject.| | ||||||
| 14 [6:52] | Wala tatrudi allatheenayadAAoona rabbahum bialghadati waalAAashiyyiyureedoona wajhahu ma AAalayka min hisabihimmin shay-in wama min hisabika AAalayhim minshay-in fatatrudahum fatakoona mina alththalimeena | ولا تطرد الذين يدعون ربهم بالغداة والعشي يريدون وجهه ما عليك من حسابهم من شيء وما من حسابك عليهم من شيء فتطردهم فتكون من الظالمين وَلاَ تَطْرُدِ الَّذِينَ يَدْعُونَ رَبَّهُم بِالْغَدَاةِ وَالْعَشِيِّ يُرِيدُونَ وَجْهَهُ مَا عَلَيْكَ مِنْ حِسَابِهِم مِّن شَيْءٍ وَمَا مِنْ حِسَابِكَ عَلَيْهِم مِّن شَيْءٍ فَتَطْرُدَهُمْ فَتَكُونَ مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ولا - And (do) not| تطرد - send away| الذين - those who| يدعون - call| ربهم - their Lord| بالغداة - in the morning| والعشي - and the evening| يريدون - desiring| وجهه - His Countenance.| ما - Not| عليك - (is) on you| من - of| حسابهم - their account| من - [of]| شيء - anything,| وما - and not| من - from| حسابك - your account| عليهم - on them| من - [of]| شيء - anything.| فتطردهم - So were you to send them away,| فتكون - then you would be| من - of| الظالمين - the wrongdoers.| | ||||||
| 15 [6:68] | Wa-itha raayta allatheenayakhoodoona fee ayatina faaAAridAAanhum hatta yakhoodoo fee hadeethinghayrihi wa-imma yunsiyannaka alshshaytanufala taqAAud baAAda alththikra maAAaalqawmi alththalimeena | وإذا رأيت الذين يخوضون في آياتنا فأعرض عنهم حتى يخوضوا في حديث غيره وإما ينسينك الشيطان فلا تقعد بعد الذكرى مع القوم الظالمين وَإِذَا رَأَيْتَ الَّذِينَ يَخُوضُونَ فِي آيَاتِنَا فَأَعْرِضْ عَنْهُمْ حَتَّى يَخُوضُواْ فِي حَدِيثٍ غَيْرِهِ وَإِمَّا يُنسِيَنَّكَ الشَّيْطَانُ فَلاَ تَقْعُدْ بَعْدَ الذِّكْرَى مَعَ الْقَوْمِ الظَّالِمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وإذا - And when| رأيت - you see| الذين - those who| يخوضون - engage (in vain talks)| في - about| آياتنا - Our Verses,| فأعرض - then turn away| عنهم - from them| حتى - until| يخوضوا - they engage| في - in| حديث - a talk| غيره - other than it.| وإما - And if| ينسينك - causes you to forget| الشيطان - the Shaitaan,| فلا - then (do) not| تقعد - sit| بعد - after| الذكرى - the reminder| مع - with| القوم - the people -| الظالمين - the wrongdoers.| | ||||||
| 16 [6:129] | Wakathalika nuwallee baAAda alththalimeenabaAAdan bima kanoo yaksiboona | وكذلك نولي بعض الظالمين بعضا بما كانوا يكسبون وَكَذَلِكَ نُوَلِّي بَعْضَ الظَّالِمِينَ بَعْضًا بِمَا كَانُواْ يَكْسِبُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وكذلك - And thus| نولي - We make friends,| بعض - some (of)| الظالمين - the wrongdoers| بعضا - (to) others| بما - for what| كانوا - they used to| يكسبون - earn.| | ||||||
| 17 [6:144] | Wamina al-ibili ithnayni wamina albaqariithnayni qul alththakarayni harramaami alonthayayni amma ishtamalat AAalayhi arhamualonthayayni am kuntum shuhadaa ith wassakumuAllahu bihatha faman athlamu mimmaniiftara AAala Allahi kathiban liyudillaalnnasa bighayri AAilmin inna Allaha layahdee alqawma alththalimeena | ومن الإبل اثنين ومن البقر اثنين قل آلذكرين حرم أم الأنثيين أما اشتملت عليه أرحام الأنثيين أم كنتم شهداء إذ وصاكم الله بهذا فمن أظلم ممن افترى على الله كذبا ليضل الناس بغير علم إن الله لا يهدي القوم الظالمين وَمِنَ الْإِبْلِ اثْنَيْنِ وَمِنَ الْبَقَرِ اثْنَيْنِ قُلْ آلذَّكَرَيْنِ حَرَّمَ أَمِ الْأُنْثَيَيْنِ أَمَّا اشْتَمَلَتْ عَلَيْهِ أَرْحَامُ الْأُنْثَيَيْنِ أَمْ كُنتُمْ شُهَدَاءَ إِذْ وَصَّاكُمُ اللّهُ بِهَـذَا فَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّنِ افْتَرَى عَلَى اللّهِ كَذِبًا لِيُضِلَّ النَّاسَ بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ إِنَّ اللّهَ لاَ يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الظَّالِمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ومن - And of| الإبل - the camels| اثنين - two| ومن - and of| البقر - the cows| اثنين - two.| قل - Say,| آلذكرين - "(Is it) the two males| حرم - He (has) forbidden| أم - or| الأنثيين - the two females| أما - or what| اشتملت - contains| عليه - [in it]| أرحام - (the) wombs| الأنثيين - (of) the two females?| أم - Or| كنتم - were you| شهداء - witnesses| إذ - when| وصاكم - enjoined you| الله - Allah| بهذا - with this?| فمن - Then who| أظلم - (is) more unjust| ممن - than (one) who| افترى - invents| على - against| الله - Allah| كذبا - a lie| ليضل - to mislead| الناس - the people| بغير - without| علم - knowledge?| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| لا - (does) not| يهدي - guide| القوم - the people,| الظالمين - the wrongdoing."| | ||||||
| 18 [7:19] | Waya adamu oskun antawazawjuka aljannata fakula min haythu shi/tumawala taqraba hathihi alshshajaratafatakoona mina alththalimeena | ويا آدم اسكن أنت وزوجك الجنة فكلا من حيث شئتما ولا تقربا هذه الشجرة فتكونا من الظالمين وَيَا آدَمُ اسْكُنْ أَنتَ وَزَوْجُكَ الْجَنَّةَ فَكُلاَ مِنْ حَيْثُ شِئْتُمَا وَلاَ تَقْرَبَا هَـذِهِ الشَّجَرَةَ فَتَكُونَا مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ويا - And O| آدم - And O Adam!| اسكن - Dwell,| أنت - you| وزوجك - and your wife,| الجنة - (in) the Garden,| فكلا - and you both eat| من - from| حيث - wherever| شئتما - you both wish,| ولا - but (do) not| تقربا - approach [both of you]| هذه - this| الشجرة - [the] tree| فتكونا - lest you both be| من - among| الظالمين - the wrongdoers."| | ||||||
| 19 [7:41] | Lahum min jahannama mihadun waminfawqihim ghawashin wakathalika najzee alththalimeena | لهم من جهنم مهاد ومن فوقهم غواش وكذلك نجزي الظالمين لَهُم مِّن جَهَنَّمَ مِهَادٌ وَمِن فَوْقِهِمْ غَوَاشٍ وَكَذَلِكَ نَجْزِي الظَّالِمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |لهم - For them| من - of| جهنم - (the) Hell| مهاد - (is) a bed| ومن - and from| فوقهم - over them| غواش - coverings.| وكذلك - And thus| نجزي - We recompense| الظالمين - the wrongdoers.| | ||||||
| 20 [7:44] | Wanada as-habualjannati as-haba alnnari an qadwajadna ma waAAadana rabbuna haqqanfahal wajadtum ma waAAada rabbukum haqqan qaloonaAAam faaththana mu-aththinun baynahum an laAAnatuAllahi AAala alththalimeena | ونادى أصحاب الجنة أصحاب النار أن قد وجدنا ما وعدنا ربنا حقا فهل وجدتم ما وعد ربكم حقا قالوا نعم فأذن مؤذن بينهم أن لعنة الله على الظالمين وَنَادَى أَصْحَابُ الْجَنَّةِ أَصْحَابَ النَّارِ أَن قَدْ وَجَدْنَا مَا وَعَدَنَا رَبُّنَا حَقًّا فَهَلْ وَجَدتُّم مَّا وَعَدَ رَبُّكُمْ حَقًّا قَالُواْ نَعَمْ فَأَذَّنَ مُؤَذِّنٌ بَيْنَهُمْ أَن لَّعْنَةُ اللّهِ عَلَى الظَّالِمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ونادى - And will call out| أصحاب - (the) companions| الجنة - (of) Paradise| أصحاب - (to the) companions| النار - (of) the Fire| أن - that,| قد - "Indeed,| وجدنا - we found| ما - what| وعدنا - (had) promised us| ربنا - our Lord| حقا - true.| فهل - So have| وجدتم - you found| ما - what| وعد - (was) promised| ربكم - (by) your Lord| حقا - (to be) true?"| قالوا - They will say,| نعم - "Yes."| فأذن - Then will announce| مؤذن - an announcer| بينهم - among them,| أن - [that]| لعنة - "(The) curse| الله - (of) Allah| على - (is) on| الظالمين - the wrongdoers,| | ||||||
