| 1 [14:18] | Mathalu allatheena kafaroo birabbihimaAAmaluhum karamadin ishtaddat bihi alrreehufee yawmin AAasifin la yaqdiroona mimmakasaboo AAala shay-in thalika huwa alddalalualbaAAeedu |  مثل الذين كفروا بربهم أعمالهم كرماد اشتدت به الريح في يوم عاصف لا يقدرون مما كسبوا على شيء ذلك هو الضلال البعيدمَّثَلُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ بِرَبِّهِمْ أَعْمَالُهُمْ كَرَمَادٍ اشْتَدَّتْ بِهِ الرِّيحُ فِي يَوْمٍ عَاصِفٍ لاَّ يَقْدِرُونَ مِمَّا كَسَبُواْ عَلَى شَيْءٍ ذَلِكَ هُوَ الضَّلاَلُ الْبَعِيدُ | |||||
| Words | |مثل - (The) example| الذين - (of) those who| كفروا - disbelieve| بربهم - in their Lord,| أعمالهم - their deeds| كرماد - (are) like ashes| اشتدت - blows furiously| به - on it| الريح - the wind| في - in| يوم - a day| عاصف - stormy.| لا - No| يقدرون - control (they have)| مما - of what| كسبوا - they have earned| على - on| شيء - anything.| ذلك - That,| هو - [it]| الضلال - (is) the straying| البعيد - far.| | ||||||
| 2 [17:69] | Am amintum an yuAAeedakum feehi taratanokhra fayursila AAalaykum qasifan mina alrreehifayughriqakum bima kafartum thumma la tajidoo lakumAAalayna bihi tabeeAAan | أم أمنتم أن يعيدكم فيه تارة أخرى فيرسل عليكم قاصفا من الريح فيغرقكم بما كفرتم ثم لا تجدوا لكم علينا به تبيعا أَمْ أَمِنتُمْ أَن يُعِيدَكُمْ فِيهِ تَارَةً أُخْرَى فَيُرْسِلَ عَلَيْكُمْ قَاصِفا مِّنَ الرِّيحِ فَيُغْرِقَكُم بِمَا كَفَرْتُمْ ثُمَّ لاَ تَجِدُواْ لَكُمْ عَلَيْنَا بِهِ تَبِيعًا | |||||
| Words | |أم - Or| أمنتم - do you feel secure| أن - that (not)| يعيدكم - He will send you back| فيه - into it| تارة - another time,| أخرى - another time,| فيرسل - and send| عليكم - upon you| قاصفا - a hurricane| من - of| الريح - the wind,| فيغرقكم - and drown you| بما - because| كفرتم - you disbelieved?| ثم - Then| لا - not| تجدوا - you will find| لكم - for you| علينا - against Us| به - therein| تبيعا - an avenger?| | ||||||
| 3 [21:81] | Walisulaymana alrreehaAAasifatan tajree bi-amrihi ila al-ardiallatee barakna feeha wakunna bikullishay-in AAalimeena | ولسليمان الريح عاصفة تجري بأمره إلى الأرض التي باركنا فيها وكنا بكل شيء عالمين وَلِسُلَيْمَانَ الرِّيحَ عَاصِفَةً تَجْرِي بِأَمْرِهِ إِلَى الْأَرْضِ الَّتِي بَارَكْنَا فِيهَا وَكُنَّا بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَالِمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ولسليمان - And to Sulaiman,| الريح - the wind| عاصفة - forcefully| تجري - blowing| بأمره - by his command| إلى - to| الأرض - the land| التي - which| باركنا - We blessed| فيها - [in it].| وكنا - And We are| بكل - of every| شيء - thing| عالمين - Knowers.| | ||||||
| 4 [22:31] | Hunafaa lillahi ghayramushrikeena bihi waman yushrik biAllahi fakaannamakharra mina alssama-i fatakhtafuhu alttayruaw tahwee bihi alrreehu fee makanin saheeqin | حنفاء لله غير مشركين به ومن يشرك بالله فكأنما خر من السماء فتخطفه الطير أو تهوي به الريح في مكان سحيق حُنَفَاءَ لِلَّهِ غَيْرَ مُشْرِكِينَ بِهِ وَمَن يُشْرِكْ بِاللَّهِ فَكَأَنَّمَا خَرَّ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ فَتَخْطَفُهُ الطَّيْرُ أَوْ تَهْوِي بِهِ الرِّيحُ فِي مَكَانٍ سَحِيقٍ | |||||
| Words | |حنفاء - Being upright| لله - to Allah,| غير - not| مشركين - associating partners| به - with Him.| ومن - And whoever| يشرك - associates partners| بالله - with Allah| فكأنما - then (it is) as though| خر - he had fallen| من - from| السماء - the sky| فتخطفه - and (had) snatched him| الطير - the birds,| أو - or| تهوي - had blown| به - him| الريح - the wind| في - to| مكان - a place| سحيق - far off.| | ||||||
| 5 [34:12] | Walisulaymana alrreehaghuduwwuha shahrun warawahuha shahrunwaasalna lahu AAayna alqitri wamina aljinni manyaAAmalu bayna yadayhi bi-ithni rabbihi waman yazighminhum AAan amrina nuthiqhu min AAathabi alssaAAeeri | ولسليمان الريح غدوها شهر ورواحها شهر وأسلنا له عين القطر ومن الجن من يعمل بين يديه بإذن ربه ومن يزغ منهم عن أمرنا نذقه من عذاب السعير وَلِسُلَيْمَانَ الرِّيحَ غُدُوُّهَا شَهْرٌ وَرَوَاحُهَا شَهْرٌ وَأَسَلْنَا لَهُ عَيْنَ الْقِطْرِ وَمِنَ الْجِنِّ مَن يَعْمَلُ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِ وَمَن يَزِغْ مِنْهُمْ عَنْ أَمْرِنَا نُذِقْهُ مِنْ عَذَابِ السَّعِيرِ | |||||
| Words | |ولسليمان - And to Sulaiman,| الريح - the wind -| غدوها - its morning course| شهر - (was) a month| ورواحها - and its afternoon course| شهر - (was) a month,| وأسلنا - and We caused to flow| له - for him| عين - a spring| القطر - (of) molten copper.| ومن - And [of]| الجن - the jinn| من - who| يعمل - worked| بين - before him| يديه - before him| بإذن - by the permission| ربه - (of) his Lord.| ومن - And whoever| يزغ - deviated| منهم - among them| عن - from| أمرنا - Our Command,| نذقه - We will make him taste| من - of| عذاب - (the) punishment| السعير - (of) the Blaze.| | ||||||
| 6 [38:36] | Fasakhkharna lahu alrreehatajree bi-amrihi rukhaan haythu asaba | فسخرنا له الريح تجري بأمره رخاء حيث أصاب فَسَخَّرْنَا لَهُ الرِّيحَ تَجْرِي بِأَمْرِهِ رُخَاءً حَيْثُ أَصَابَ | |||||
| Words | |فسخرنا - Then We subjected| له - to him| الريح - the wind| تجري - to flow| بأمره - by his command,| رخاء - gently,| حيث - wherever| أصاب - he directed,| | ||||||
| 7 [42:33] | In yasha/ yuskini alrreehafayathlalna rawakida AAala thahrihiinna fee thalika laayatin likulli sabbarinshakoorin | إن يشأ يسكن الريح فيظللن رواكد على ظهره إن في ذلك لآيات لكل صبار شكور إِن يَشَأْ يُسْكِنِ الرِّيحَ فَيَظْلَلْنَ رَوَاكِدَ عَلَى ظَهْرِهِ إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِّكُلِّ صَبَّارٍ شَكُورٍ | |||||
| Words | |إن - If| يشأ - He wills,| يسكن - He can cause the wind to become still| الريح - He can cause the wind to become still| فيظللن - then they would remain| رواكد - motionless| على - on| ظهره - its back.| إن - Indeed,| في - in| ذلك - that| لآيات - surely (are) Signs| لكل - for everyone| صبار - patient| شكور - (and) grateful.| | ||||||
| 8 [51:41] | Wafee AAadin ith arsalnaAAalayhimu alrreeha alAAaqeema | وفي عاد إذ أرسلنا عليهم الريح العقيم وَفِي عَادٍ إِذْ أَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمُ الرِّيحَ الْعَقِيمَ | |||||
