| 1 [2:51] | Wa-ith waAAadna moosaarbaAAeena laylatan thumma ittakhathtumu alAAijla minbaAAdihi waantum thalimoona |  وإذ واعدنا موسى أربعين ليلة ثم اتخذتم العجل من بعده وأنتم ظالمونوَإِذْ وَاعَدْنَا مُوسَى أَرْبَعِينَ لَيْلَةً ثُمَّ اتَّخَذْتُمُ الْعِجْلَ مِن بَعْدِهِ وَأَنتُمْ ظَالِمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وإذ - And when| واعدنا - We appointed| موسى - (for) Musa| أربعين - forty| ليلة - nights.| ثم - Then| اتخذتم - you took| العجل - the calf| من - from| بعده - after him| وأنتم - and you| ظالمون - (were) wrongdoers.| | ||||||
| 2 [2:92] | Walaqad jaakum moosa bialbayyinatithumma ittakhathtumu alAAijla min baAAdihi waantum thalimoona | ولقد جاءكم موسى بالبينات ثم اتخذتم العجل من بعده وأنتم ظالمون وَلَقَدْ جَاءَكُمْ مُّوسَى بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ ثُمَّ اتَّخَذْتُمُ الْعِجْلَ مِنْ بَعْدِهِ وَأَنتُمْ ظَالِمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ولقد - And indeed| جاءكم - came to you| موسى - Musa| بالبينات - with [the] clear signs,| ثم - then| اتخذتم - you took| العجل - the calf| من - from| بعده - after him| وأنتم - and you| ظالمون - (were) wrongdoers.| | ||||||
| 3 [29:25] | Waqala innama ittakhathtummin dooni Allahi awthanan mawaddata baynikum fee alhayatialddunya thumma yawma alqiyamati yakfurubaAAdukum bibaAAdin wayalAAanu baAAdukumbaAAdan wama-wakumu alnnaru wamalakum min nasireena | وقال إنما اتخذتم من دون الله أوثانا مودة بينكم في الحياة الدنيا ثم يوم القيامة يكفر بعضكم ببعض ويلعن بعضكم بعضا ومأواكم النار وما لكم من ناصرين وَقَالَ إِنَّمَا اتَّخَذْتُم مِّن دُونِ اللَّهِ أَوْثَانًا مَّوَدَّةَ بَيْنِكُمْ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا ثُمَّ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ يَكْفُرُ بَعْضُكُم بِبَعْضٍ وَيَلْعَنُ بَعْضُكُم بَعْضًا وَمَأْوَاكُمُ النَّارُ وَمَا لَكُم مِّن نَّاصِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وقال - And he said,| إنما - "Only| اتخذتم - you have taken| من - besides| دون - besides| الله - Allah| أوثانا - idols| مودة - (out of) love| بينكم - among you| في - in| الحياة - the life| الدنيا - (of) the world.| ثم - Then| يوم - (on the) Day| القيامة - (of) the Resurrection| يكفر - you will deny| بعضكم - one another| ببعض - one another| ويلعن - and curse| بعضكم - one another,| بعضا - one another,| ومأواكم - and your abode| النار - (will be) the Fire| وما - and not| لكم - for you| من - any| ناصرين - helpers."| | ||||||
| 4 [45:35] | Thalikum bi-annakumu ittakhathtumayati Allahi huzuwan wagharratkumu alhayatualddunya faalyawma la yukhrajoonaminha wala hum yustaAAtaboona | ذلكم بأنكم اتخذتم آيات الله هزوا وغرتكم الحياة الدنيا فاليوم لا يخرجون منها ولا هم يستعتبون ذَلِكُم بِأَنَّكُمُ اتَّخَذْتُمْ آيَاتِ اللَّهِ هُزُوًا وَغَرَّتْكُمُ الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا فَالْيَوْمَ لَا يُخْرَجُونَ مِنْهَا وَلَا هُمْ يُسْتَعْتَبُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ذلكم - That| بأنكم - (is) because you| اتخذتم - took| آيات - (the) Verses| الله - (of) Allah| هزوا - (in) ridicule| وغرتكم - and deceived you| الحياة - the life| الدنيا - (of) the world."| فاليوم - So this Day| لا - not| يخرجون - they will be brought forth| منها - from it| ولا - and not| هم - they| يستعتبون - will be asked to appease.| | ||||||
