| 1 [2:173] | Innama harrama AAalaykumualmaytata waalddama walahma alkhinzeeri wamaohilla bihi lighayri Allahi famani idturra ghayra baghinwala AAadin fala ithma AAalayhi inna Allahaghafoorun raheemun |  إنما حرم عليكم الميتة والدم ولحم الخنزير وما أهل به لغير الله فمن اضطر غير باغ ولا عاد فلا إثم عليه إن الله غفور رحيمإِنَّمَا حَرَّمَ عَلَيْكُمُ الْمَيْتَةَ وَالدَّمَ وَلَحْمَ الْخِنْـزِيرِ وَمَا أُهِلَّ بِهِ لِغَيْرِ اللّهِ فَمَنِ اضْطُرَّ غَيْرَ بَاغٍ وَلاَ عَادٍ فَلا إِثْمَ عَلَيْهِ إِنَّ اللّهَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |إنما - Only| حرم - He has forbidden| عليكم - to you| الميتة - the dead animals,| والدم - and [the] blood,| ولحم - and flesh,| الخنزير - (of) swine,| وما - and what| أهل - has been dedicated| به - [with it]| لغير - to other than| الله - Allah.| فمن - So whoever| اضطر - (is) forced by necessity| غير - without| باغ - (being) disobedient| ولا - and not| عاد - transgressor,| فلا - then no| إثم - sin| عليه - on him.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| غفور - (is) Oft-Forgiving,| رحيم - Most Merciful.| | ||||||
| 2 [2:182] | Faman khafa min moosinjanafan aw ithman faaslaha baynahum falaithma AAalayhi inna Allaha ghafoorun raheemun | فمن خاف من موص جنفا أو إثما فأصلح بينهم فلا إثم عليه إن الله غفور رحيم فَمَنْ خَافَ مِن مُّوصٍ جَنَفًا أَوْ إِثْمًا فَأَصْلَحَ بَيْنَهُمْ فَلاَ إِثْمَ عَلَيْهِ إِنَّ اللّهَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |فمن - But whoever| خاف - fears| من - from| موص - (the) testator| جنفا - (any) error| أو - or| إثما - sin,| فأصلح - then reconciles| بينهم - between them,| فلا - then (there is) no| إثم - sin| عليه - on him.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| غفور - (is) Oft-Forgiving,| رحيم - All-Merciful.| | ||||||
| 3 [2:203] | Waothkuroo Allaha feeayyamin maAAdoodatin faman taAAajjala fee yawmaynifala ithma AAalayhi waman taakhkhara fala ithmaAAalayhi limani ittaqa waittaqoo Allaha waiAAlamooannakum ilayhi tuhsharoona | واذكروا الله في أيام معدودات فمن تعجل في يومين فلا إثم عليه ومن تأخر فلا إثم عليه لمن اتقى واتقوا الله واعلموا أنكم إليه تحشرون وَاذْكُرُواْ اللّهَ فِي أَيَّامٍ مَّعْدُودَاتٍ فَمَن تَعَجَّلَ فِي يَوْمَيْنِ فَلاَ إِثْمَ عَلَيْهِ وَمَن تَأَخَّرَ فَلَا إِثْمَ عَلَيْهِ لِمَنِ اتَّقَى وَاتَّقُواْ اللّهَ وَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّكُمْ إِلَيْهِ تُحْشَرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |واذكروا - And remember| الله - Allah| في - during| أيام - days| معدودات - numbered.| فمن - Then (he) who| تعجل - hurries| في - in| يومين - two days| فلا - then no| إثم - sin| عليه - upon him,| ومن - and whoever| تأخر - delays| فلا - then no| إثم - sin| عليه - upon him| لمن - for (the one) who| اتقى - fears.| واتقوا - And fear| الله - Allah| واعلموا - and know| أنكم - that you| إليه - unto Him| تحشرون - will be gathered.| | ||||||
| 4 [2:219] | Yas-aloonaka AAani alkhamri waalmaysiriqul feehima ithmun kabeerun wamanafiAAu lilnnasiwa-ithmuhuma akbaru min nafAAihima wayas-aloonaka mathayunfiqoona quli alAAafwa kathalika yubayyinu Allahulakumu al-ayati laAAallakum tatafakkaroona | يسألونك عن الخمر والميسر قل فيهما إثم كبير ومنافع للناس وإثمهما أكبر من نفعهما ويسألونك ماذا ينفقون قل العفو كذلك يبين الله لكم الآيات لعلكم تتفكرون يَسْأَلُونَكَ عَنِ الْخَمْرِ وَالْمَيْسِرِ قُلْ فِيهِمَا إِثْمٌ كَبِيرٌ وَمَنَافِعُ لِلنَّاسِ وَإِثْمُهُمَآ أَكْبَرُ مِن نَّفْعِهِمَا وَيَسْأَلُونَكَ مَاذَا يُنفِقُونَ قُلِ الْعَفْوَ كَذَلِكَ يُبيِّنُ اللّهُ لَكُمُ الْآيَاتِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَفَكَّرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |يسألونك - They ask you| عن - about| الخمر - [the] intoxicants| والميسر - and [the] games of chance| قل - Say,| فيهما - "In both of them| إثم - (is) a sin| كبير - great,| ومنافع - and (some) benefits| للناس - for [the] people.| وإثمهما - But sin of both of them| أكبر - (is) greater| من - than| نفعهما - (the) benefit of (the) two."| ويسألونك - And they ask you| ماذا - what| ينفقون - they (should) spend.| قل - Say,| العفو - "The surplus."| كذلك - Thus| يبين - makes clear| الله - Allah| لكم - to you| الآيات - [the] Verses| لعلكم - so that you may| تتفكرون - ponder,| | ||||||
| 5 [49:12] | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanooijtaniboo katheeran mina alththanni innabaAAda alththanni ithmun walatajassasoo wala yaghtab baAAdukum baAAdanayuhibbu ahadukum an ya/kula lahma akheehimaytan fakarihtumoohu waittaqoo Allaha inna Allahatawwabun raheemun | يا أيها الذين آمنوا اجتنبوا كثيرا من الظن إن بعض الظن إثم ولا تجسسوا ولا يغتب بعضكم بعضا أيحب أحدكم أن يأكل لحم أخيه ميتا فكرهتموه واتقوا الله إن الله تواب رحيم يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اجْتَنِبُوا كَثِيرًا مِّنَ الظَّنِّ إِنَّ بَعْضَ الظَّنِّ إِثْمٌ وَلَا تَجَسَّسُوا وَلَا يَغْتَب بَّعْضُكُم بَعْضًا أَيُحِبُّ أَحَدُكُمْ أَن يَأْكُلَ لَحْمَ أَخِيهِ مَيْتًا فَكَرِهْتُمُوهُ وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ تَوَّابٌ رَّحِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |يا - O| أيها - O you who believe!| الذين - O you who believe!| آمنوا - O you who believe!| اجتنبوا - Avoid| كثيرا - much| من - of| الظن - the assumption.| إن - Indeed,| بعض - some| الظن - assumption| إثم - (is) sin.| ولا - And (do) not| تجسسوا - spy| ولا - and (do) not| يغتب - backbite| بعضكم - some of you| بعضا - (to) others.| أيحب - Would like| أحدكم - one of you| أن - to| يأكل - eat| لحم - (the) flesh| أخيه - (of) his brother,| ميتا - dead?| فكرهتموه - Nay, you would hate it.| واتقوا - And fear Allah;| الله - And fear Allah;| إن - indeed,| الله - Allah| تواب - (is) Oft-Returning,| رحيم - Most Merciful.| | ||||||
