[2:219] | Yas-aloonaka AAani alkhamri waalmaysiriqul feehima ithmun kabeerun wamanafiAAu lilnnasiwa-ithmuhuma akbaru min nafAAihima wayas-aloonaka mathayunfiqoona quli alAAafwa kathalika yubayyinu Allahulakumu al-ayati laAAallakum tatafakkaroona
|  يسألونك عن الخمر والميسر قل فيهما إثم كبير ومنافع للناس وإثمهما أكبر من نفعهما ويسألونك ماذا ينفقون قل العفو كذلك يبين الله لكم الآيات لعلكم تتفكرون
يَسْأَلُونَكَ عَنِ الْخَمْرِ وَالْمَيْسِرِ قُلْ فِيهِمَا إِثْمٌ كَبِيرٌ وَمَنَافِعُ لِلنَّاسِ وَإِثْمُهُمَآ أَكْبَرُ مِن نَّفْعِهِمَا وَيَسْأَلُونَكَ مَاذَا يُنفِقُونَ قُلِ الْعَفْوَ كَذَلِكَ يُبيِّنُ اللّهُ لَكُمُ الْآيَاتِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَفَكَّرُونَ |
| Words | |يسألونك - They ask you| عن - about| الخمر - [the] intoxicants| والميسر - and [the] games of chance| قل - Say,| فيهما - "In both of them| إثم - (is) a sin| كبير - great,| ومنافع - and (some) benefits| للناس - for [the] people.| وإثمهما - But sin of both of them| أكبر - (is) greater| من - than| نفعهما - (the) benefit of (the) two."| ويسألونك - And they ask you| ماذا - what| ينفقون - they (should) spend.| قل - Say,| العفو - "The surplus."| كذلك - Thus| يبين - makes clear| الله - Allah| لكم - to you| الآيات - [the] Verses| لعلكم - so that you may| تتفكرون - ponder,| |

| አእምሮን ከሚቃወም መጠጥና ከቁማር ይጠይቁሃል፡፡ «በሁለቱም ውስጥ ታላቅ ኃጢኣትና ለሰዎች ጥቅሞች አሉባቸው፡፡ ግን ኃጢኣታቸው ከጥቅማቸው በጣም ትልቅ ነው» በላቸው፡፡ ምንን እንደሚመጸውቱም (መጠኑን) ይጠይቁሃል፡፡ «ትርፍን (መጽውቱ)» በላቸው፡፡ እንደዚሁ ታስተነትኑ ዘንድ አላህ ለናንተ አንቀጾችን ይገልጽላችኋል፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { يسألونك عن الخمر والميسر } القمار ما حكمهما { قل } لهم { فيهما } أي في تعاطيهما { إثم كبير } عظيم وفي قراءة بالمثلثة لما يحصل بسببهما من المخاصمة والمشاتمة وقول الفحش { ومنافع للناس } باللذة والفرح في الخمر وإصابة المال بلا كد في الميسر { وإثمهما } أي ما ينشأ عنهما من المفاسد { أكبر } أعظم { من نفعهما } ولما نزلت شربها قوم وامتنع عنها آخرون إلى أن حرمتها آية المائدة { ويسألونك ماذا ينفقون } أي ما قدره { قل } أنفقوا { العفو} أي الفاضل عن الحاجة ولا تنفقوا ما تحتاجون إليه وتضيعوا أنفسكم وفي قراءة بالرفع بتقدير هو { كذلك } أي كما بين لكم ما ذكر { يبين الله لكم الآيات لعلكم تتفكرون } . |

| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | তারা তোমাকে মদ ও জুয়া সম্পর্কে জিজ্ঞেস করে। বলে দাও, এতদুভয়ের মধ্যে রয়েছে মহাপাপ। আর মানুষের জন্যে উপকারিতাও রয়েছে, তবে এগুলোর পাপ উপকারিতা অপেক্ষা অনেক বড়। আর তোমার কাছে জিজ্ঞেস করে, কি তারা ব্যয় করবে? বলে দাও, নিজেদের প্রয়োজনীয় ব্যয়ের পর যা বাঁচে তাই খরচ করবে। এভাবেই আল্লাহ তোমাদের জন্যে নির্দেশ সুস্পষ্টরূপে বর্ণনা করেন, যাতে তোমরা চিন্তা করতে পার। |
