| 1 [5:31] | FabaAAatha Allahu ghuraban yabhathufee al-ardi liyuriyahu kayfa yuwaree saw-ataakheehi qala ya waylata aAAajaztu an akoonamithla hatha alghurabi faowariya saw-ataakhee faasbaha mina alnnadimeena |  فبعث الله غرابا يبحث في الأرض ليريه كيف يواري سوءة أخيه قال يا ويلتا أعجزت أن أكون مثل هذا الغراب فأواري سوءة أخي فأصبح من النادمينفَبَعَثَ اللّهُ غُرَابًا يَبْحَثُ فِي الْأَرْضِ لِيُرِيَهُ كَيْفَ يُوَارِي سَوْءَةَ أَخِيهِ قَالَ يَا وَيْلَتَا أَعَجَزْتُ أَنْ أَكُونَ مِثْلَ هَـذَا الْغُرَابِ فَأُوَارِيَ سَوْءَةَ أَخِي فَأَصْبَحَ مِنَ النَّادِمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |فبعث - Then (was) sent| الله - (by) Allah| غرابا - a crow,| يبحث - it (was) scratching| في - in| الأرض - the earth| ليريه - to show him| كيف - how| يواري - to hide| سوءة - (the) dead body| أخيه - (of) his brother.| قال - He said,| يا - O| ويلتا - "Woe to me!| أعجزت - Am I unable| أن - that| أكون - I can be| مثل - like| هذا - this| الغراب - [the] crow| فأواري - and hide| سوءة - (the) dead body| أخي - (of) my brother?"| فأصبح - Then he became| من - of| النادمين - the regretful.| | ||||||
| 2 [12:90] | Qaloo a-innaka laanta yoosufa qalaana yoosufu wahatha akhee qad manna AllahuAAalayna innahu man yattaqi wayasbir fa-inna Allahala yudeeAAu ajra almuhsineena | قالوا أإنك لأنت يوسف قال أنا يوسف وهذا أخي قد من الله علينا إنه من يتق ويصبر فإن الله لا يضيع أجر المحسنين قَالُواْ أَإِنَّكَ لَأَنتَ يُوسُفُ قَالَ أَنَاْ يُوسُفُ وَهَـذَا أَخِي قَدْ مَنَّ اللّهُ عَلَيْنَا إِنَّهُ مَن يَتَّقِ وَيَصْبِرْ فَإِنَّ اللّهَ لاَ يُضِيعُ أَجْرَ الْمُحْسِنِينَ | |||||
| Words | |قالوا - They said,| أإنك - "Are you indeed,| لأنت - surely you,| يوسف - Yusuf?"| قال - He said,| أنا - "I am| يوسف - Yusuf| وهذا - and this| أخي - (is) my brother.| قد - Indeed,| من - Allah has been gracious| الله - Allah has been gracious| علينا - to us.| إنه - Indeed, he| من - who| يتق - fears Allah| ويصبر - and (is) patient,| فإن - then indeed,| الله - Allah| لا - (does) not| يضيع - let go waste| أجر - (the) reward| المحسنين - (of) the good-doers."| | ||||||

| 4 [38:23] | Inna hatha akhee lahu tisAAunwatisAAoona naAAjatan waliya naAAjatun wahidatun faqalaakfilneeha waAAazzanee fee alkhitabi | إن هذا أخي له تسع وتسعون نعجة ولي نعجة واحدة فقال أكفلنيها وعزني في الخطاب إِنَّ هَذَا أَخِي لَهُ تِسْعٌ وَتِسْعُونَ نَعْجَةً وَلِيَ نَعْجَةٌ وَاحِدَةٌ فَقَالَ أَكْفِلْنِيهَا وَعَزَّنِي فِي الْخِطَابِ | |||||
