[98:5] | Wama omiroo illa liyaAAbudooAllaha mukhliseena lahu alddeena hunafaawayuqeemoo alssalata wayu/too alzzakatawathalika deenu alqayyimati
|  وما أمروا إلا ليعبدوا الله مخلصين له الدين حنفاء ويقيموا الصلاة ويؤتوا الزكاة وذلك دين القيمة
وَمَا أُمِرُوا إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُوا اللَّهَ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ الدِّينَ حُنَفَاءَ وَيُقِيمُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَيُؤْتُوا الزَّكَاةَ وَذَلِكَ دِينُ الْقَيِّمَةِ |
| Words | |وما - And not| أمروا - they were commanded| إلا - except| ليعبدوا - to worship| الله - Allah| مخلصين - (being) sincere| له - to Him| الدين - (in) the religion,| حنفاء - upright,| ويقيموا - and to establish| الصلاة - the prayer,| ويؤتوا - and to give| الزكاة - the zakah| وذلك - And that| دين - (is the) religion| القيمة - the correct.| |

| አላህን ሃይማኖትን ለእርሱ ብቻ አጥሪዎች፣ ቀጥተኞች ኾነው ሊግገዙት፣ ሶላትንም አስተካክለው ሊሰግዱ ዘካንም ሊሰጡ እንጅ ያልታዘዙ ሲኾኑ (ተለያዩ)፡፡ ይህም የቀጥተኛይቱ (ሃይማኖት) ድንጋጌ ነው፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { وما أمروا } في كتابهم التوراة والإنجيل { إلا ليعبدوا الله } أي أن يعبدوه فحذفت أن وزيدت اللام { مخلصين له الدين } من الشرك { حنفاء } مستقيمين على دين إبراهيم ودين محمد إذا جاء فكيف كفروا به { ويقيموا الصلاة ويؤتوا الزكاة وذلك دين } الملة { القيِّمة } المستقيمة. |
| Ppwamôen, kan, ad âabden Öebbi s ddin iûfan, ad malen ar tidep, ad bedden i téallit, ad zzekkin. D wagi ay d ddin umâin. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | তাদেরকে এছাড়া কোন নির্দেশ করা হয়নি যে, তারা খাঁটি মনে একনিষ্ঠভাবে আল্লাহর এবাদত করবে, নামায কায়েম করবে এবং যাকাত দেবে। এটাই সঠিক ধর্ম। |
| Literal | And they were not ordered/commanded except to worship God faithful/loyal/devoted to Him (in) the religion (as) submitters/Unifiers of God , and they keep up the prayers, and they give/bring the charity/purification , and that (is) the straight/valuable religion. |
| Yusuf Ali | And they have been commanded no more than this: To worship Allah, offering Him sincere devotion, being true (in faith); to establish regular prayer; and to practise regular charity; and that is the Religion Right and Straight. |
