| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[91:14] | Fakaththaboohu faAAaqaroohafadamdama AAalayhim rabbuhum bithanbihim fasawwaha
|  فكذبوه فعقروها فدمدم عليهم ربهم بذنبهم فسواها
فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَعَقَرُوهَا فَدَمْدَمَ عَلَيْهِمْ رَبُّهُم بِذَنبِهِمْ فَسَوَّاهَا |
| Words | |فكذبوه - But they denied him,| فعقروها - and they hamstrung her.| فدمدم - So destroyed| عليهم - them| ربهم - their Lord| بذنبهم - for their sin| فسواها - and leveled them.| |

| አስተባበሉትም፡፡ (ቋንጃዋን) ወጓትም፡፡ በኀጢኣታቸውም ምክንያት ጌታቸው (ቅጣትን) በእነርሱ ላይ ደመደመባቸው፤ አስተካከላትም፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { فكذبوه } في قوله ذلك عن الله المرتب عليه نزول العذاب بهم إن خالفوه { فعقروها } قتلوها ليسلم لهم ماء شربها { فدمدم } أطبق { عليهم ربهم } العذاب { بذنبهم فسواها } أي الدمدمة عليهم، أي عمهم بها فلم يفلت منهم أحد. |

| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | অতঃপর ওরা তার প্রতি মিথ্যারোপ করেছিল এবং উষ্ট্রীর পা কর্তন করেছিল। তাদের পাপের কারণে তাদের পালনকর্তা তাদের উপর ধ্বংস নাযিল করে একাকার করে দিলেন। |
| Literal | So they denied him , so they wounded it/slaughtered it/made it infertile, so their Lord became angry/destroyed on them because of their crime, so He straightened it. |
| Yusuf Ali | Then they rejected him (as a false prophet), and they hamstrung her. So their Lord, on account of their crime, obliterated their traces and made them equal (in destruction, high and low)! |
| Pickthal | But they denied him, and they hamstrung her, so Allah doomed them for their sin and rased (their dwellings). |
