| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[83:17] | Thumma yuqalu hatha allatheekuntum bihi tukaththiboona
|  ثم يقال هذا الذي كنتم به تكذبون
ثُمَّ يُقَالُ هَذَا الَّذِي كُنتُم بِهِ تُكَذِّبُونَ |
| Words | |ثم - Then| يقال - it will be said,| هذا - "This| الذي - (is) what| كنتم - you used to| به - [of it]| تكذبون - deny."| |

| ከዚያም «ይህ ያ በእርሱ ታስተባብሉበት የነበራችሁት ነው» ይባላሉ፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { ثم يقال } لهم { هذا } أي العذاب { الذي كنتم به تكذبون } . |
| Sinna, ad pwanecden: "atan wacu tnekkôem". |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | এরপর বলা হবে, একেই তো তোমরা মিথ্যারোপ করতে। |
| Literal | Then (it) will be said: "That (is) what you were with it lying/denying/falsifying." |
| Yusuf Ali | Further, it will be said to them: "This is the (reality) which ye rejected as false! |
| Pickthal | And it will be said (unto them): This is that which ye used to deny. |
| Arberry | Then it shall be said to them, 'This is that you cried lies to.' |
| Shakir | Then shall it be said: This is what you gave the lie to. |
| Sarwar | and who will be told, "This is what you had called a lie". |
