| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[8:69] | Fakuloo mimma ghanimtum halalantayyiban waittaqoo Allaha inna Allahaghafoorun raheemun
|  فكلوا مما غنمتم حلالا طيبا واتقوا الله إن الله غفور رحيم
فَكُلُواْ مِمَّا غَنِمْتُمْ حَلاَلاً طَيِّبًا وَاتَّقُواْ اللّهَ إِنَّ اللّهَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ |
| Words | |فكلوا - So eat| مما - from what| غنمتم - you got as war booty -| حلالا - lawful| طيبا - (and) good,| واتقوا - and fear| الله - Allah.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| غفور - (is) Oft-Forgiving,| رحيم - Most Merciful.| |

| (ከጠላት) ከዘረፋችሁትም (ሀብት) የተፈቀደ መልካም ሲኾን ብሉ፡፡ አላህንም ፍሩ፡፡ አላህ መሓሪ አዛኝ ነውና፡፡ |

| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | সুতরাং তোমরা খাও গনীমত হিসাবে তোমরা যে পরিচ্ছন্ন ও হালাল বস্তু অর্জন করেছ তা থেকে। আর আল্লাহকে ভয় করতে থাক। নিশ্চয়ই আল্লাহ ক্ষমাশীল, মেহেরবান। |
| Literal | So eat from what you won/gained by spoils of war (it is) permitted/allowed enjoyable/allowed/permitted, and fear and obey God, that God (is) forgiving merciful. |
| Yusuf Ali | But (now) enjoy what ye took in war, lawful and good: but fear Allah: for Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful. |
