[8:68] | Lawla kitabun mina Allahisabaqa lamassakum feema akhathtum AAathabunAAatheemun
|  لولا كتاب من الله سبق لمسكم فيما أخذتم عذاب عظيم
لَّوْلاَ كِتَابٌ مِّنَ اللّهِ سَبَقَ لَمَسَّكُمْ فِيمَا أَخَذْتُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ |

| ከአላህ ያለፈ ፍርድ ባልነበረ ኖሮ በወሰዳችሁት (ቤዛ) ከባድ ቅጣት በነካችሁ ነበር፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { لولا كتاب من الله سبق } بإحلال الغنائم والأسرى لكم { لمسَّكم فيما أخذتم } من الفداء { عذاب عظيم } . |

| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | যদি একটি বিষয় না হত যা পূর্ব থেকেই আল্লাহ লিখে রেখেছেন, তাহলে তোমরা যা গ্রহণ করছ সেজন্য বিরাট আযাব এসে পৌছাত। |
| Literal | Where it not for a Book/decree/term preceded from God, a great torture would have touched you in what you took/received. |
