1 [8:44] | Wa-ith yureekumoohum ithiiltaqaytum fee aAAyunikum qaleelan wayuqallilukum fee aAAyunihimliyaqdiya Allahu amran kana mafAAoolan wa-ilaAllahi turjaAAu al-omooru
| وإذ يريكموهم إذ التقيتم في أعينكم قليلا ويقللكم في أعينهم ليقضي الله أمرا كان مفعولا وإلى الله ترجع الأمور وَإِذْ يُرِيكُمُوهُمْ إِذِ الْتَقَيْتُمْ فِي أَعْيُنِكُمْ قَلِيلاً وَيُقَلِّلُكُمْ فِي أَعْيُنِهِمْ لِيَقْضِيَ اللّهُ أَمْرًا كَانَ مَفْعُولاً وَإِلَى اللّهِ تُرْجَعُ الْأُمُورُ |
Words | |وإذ - And when| يريكموهم - He showed them to you,| إذ - when| التقيتم - you met -| في - in| أعينكم - your eyes| قليلا - (as) few| ويقللكم - and He made you (appear) as few| في - in| أعينهم - their eyes| ليقضي - that might accomplish| الله - Allah might accomplish| أمرا - a matter| كان - (that) was| مفعولا - (already) destined.| وإلى - And to| الله - Allah| ترجع - return| الأمور - (all) the matters.| |

| አላህም ሊሠራው የሚገባን ነገር ይፈጽም ዘንድ በተጋጠማችሁ ጊዜ እነርሱን በዓይኖቻችሁ ጥቂት አድርጎ ያሳያችሁንና በዓይኖቻቸውም ላይ ያሳነሳችሁን (አስታውሱ)፡፡ ነገሮቹም ሁሉ ወደ አላህ ብቻ ይመለሳሉ፡፡ |
آل الجلالين | { وإذ يريكموهم } أيها المؤمنون { إذ التقيتم في أعينكم قليلا } نحو سبعين أو مائة وهم ألف لتقدموا عليهم { ويقللكم في أعينهم } ليقدموا ولا يرجعوا عن قتالكم وهذا قبل التحام الحرب، فلما التحم أراهم إياهم مثليهم كما في آل عمران { ليقضيَ الله أمرا كان مفعولا وإلى الله ترجع } تصير { الأمور } . |
| Mi wen ten Issenâat, mi ten temmugrem, twalam ten d takwemmict. Iééeméi kwen ar tmu$li nnsen, iwakken ad Isâaddi Öebbi lameô ara iâaddin. Ar Öebbi ppu$alen lumuô. |
মুহিউদ্দীন খান | আর যখন তোমাদেরকে দেখালেন সে সৈন্যদল মোকাবেলার সময় তোমাদের চোখে অল্প এবং তোমাদেরকে দেখালেন তাদের চোখে বেশী, যাতে আল্লাহ সে কাজ করে নিতে পারেন যা ছিল নির্ধারিত। আর সব কাজই আল্লাহর নিকট গিয়ে পৌছায়। |
Literal | When He shows them to you when you met/found (them) in your eyes/sights (as) few/little, and He lessens/reduces you (P) in their eyes/sights, (it is for) God to execute/order an order/command (that) was made/done, and to God the matters/affairs are returned. |
Yusuf Ali | And remember when ye met, He showed them to you as few in your eyes, and He made you appear as contemptible in their eyes: that Allah might accomplish a matter already enacted. For to Allah do all questions go back (for decision). |
Pickthal | And when He made you (Muslims), when ye met (them), see them with your eyes as few, and lessened you in their eyes, (it was) that Allah might conclude a thing that must be done. Unto Allah all things are brought back. |
