| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[7:90] | Waqala almalao allatheenakafaroo min qawmihi la-ini ittabaAAtum shuAAayban innakum ithanlakhasiroona
|  وقال الملأ الذين كفروا من قومه لئن اتبعتم شعيبا إنكم إذا لخاسرون
وَقَالَ الْمَلَأُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مِن قَوْمِهِ لَئِنِ اتَّبَعْتُمْ شُعَيْباً إِنَّكُمْ إِذاً لَّخَاسِرُونَ |
| Words | |وقال - And said| الملأ - the chiefs| الذين - (of) those who| كفروا - disbelieved| من - among| قومه - his people,| لئن - "If| اتبعتم - you follow| شعيبا - Shuaib,| إنكم - indeed, you| إذا - then| لخاسرون - (will be) certainly losers."| |

| ከወገኖቹም እነዚያ የካዱት መሪዎች «ሹዓይብን ብትከተሉ እናንተ ያን ጊዜ ከሳሪዎች ናችሁ» አሉ፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { وقال الملأ الذين كفروا من قومه } أي قال بعضهم لبعض { لئن } لام قسم { اتبعتم شعيبا إنكم إذًا الخاسرون } . |
| Nnan imvebbôen, wid ijehlen, n ugdud is: "ma teddam d Cuâayeb, war ccekk a pxesôem." |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | তার সম্প্রদায়ের কাফের সর্দাররা বললঃ যদি তোমরা শোয়ায়েবের অনুসরণ কর, তবে নিশ্চিতই ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত হবে। |
| Literal | And the nobles/assembly, those who disbelieved from his nation said: "If (E) you followed Shu'aib, that you are then losers (E) ." |
| Yusuf Ali | The leaders, the unbelievers among his people, said: "If ye follow Shu'aib, be sure then ye are ruined!" |
| Pickthal | But the chieftains of his people, who were disbelieving, said: If ye follow Shu'eyb, then truly ye shall be the losers. |
| Arberry | Said the Council of those of his people who disbelieved, 'Now, if you follow Shuaib, assuredly in that case you will be losers.' |
