| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[7:9] | Waman khaffat mawazeenuhu faola-ikaallatheena khasiroo anfusahum bima kanoo bi-ayatinayathlimoona
|  ومن خفت موازينه فأولئك الذين خسروا أنفسهم بما كانوا بآياتنا يظلمون
وَمَنْ خَفَّتْ مَوَازِينُهُ فَأُوْلَـئِكَ الَّذِينَ خَسِرُواْ أَنفُسَهُم بِمَا كَانُواْ بِآيَاتِنَا يَظْلِمُونَ |
| Words | |ومن - And (for) those| خفت - (will be) light| موازينه - his scales,| فأولئك - so those| الذين - (will be) the ones who| خسروا - lost,| أنفسهم - themselves| بما - because| كانوا - they were| بآياتنا - to Our Verses| يظلمون - (doing) injustice.| |

| ሚዛኖቻቸው የቀለሉባቸው ሰዎችም እነዚያ እነርሱ ተአምራቶቻችንን ይክዱ በነበሩት ምክንያት ነፍሶቻቸውን ያከሰሩ ናቸው፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { ومن خفّت موازينه } بالسيئات { فأولئك الذين خسروا أنفسهم } بتصييرها إلى النار { بما كانوا بآياتنا يظلمون } يجحدون . |
| Wid iwumi fessuset lweznat nnsen, widak d wid ixesôen iman nnsen, seg akken sednasen issekniyen nne£. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | এবং যাদের পাল্লা হাল্কা হবে, তারাই এমন হবে, যারা নিজেদের ক্ষতি করেছে। কেননা, তারা আমার আয়াত সমূহ অস্বীকার করতো। |
| Literal | And who his (whose) weights/measures were reduced/lightened, so those (are) those who lost themselves because (of) what they were with Our signs/verses/evidences causing injustice/oppression. |
| Yusuf Ali | Those whose scale will be light, will be their souls in perdition, for that they wrongfully treated Our signs. |
| Pickthal | And as for those whose scale is light: those are they who lose their souls because they used to wrong Our revelations. |
| Arberry | and he whose scales are light -- they have lost their soul for wronging Our signs. |
| Shakir | And as for him whose measure (of good deeds) is light those are they who have made their souls suffer loss because they disbelieved in Our communications. |
| Sarwar | As for those whose bad deeds weigh heavier, they will lose their souls for their injustice to Our revelations. |
