| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[7:8] | Waalwaznu yawma-ithini alhaqqufaman thaqulat mawazeenuhu faola-ika humu almuflihoona
|  والوزن يومئذ الحق فمن ثقلت موازينه فأولئك هم المفلحون
وَالْوَزْنُ يَوْمَئِذٍ الْحَقُّ فَمَن ثَقُلَتْ مَوَازِينُهُ فَأُوْلَـئِكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُونَ |
| Words | |والوزن - And the weighing| يومئذ - that day| الحق - (will be) the truth.| فمن - So whose -| ثقلت - (will be) heavy| موازينه - his scales,| فأولئك - then those| هم - [they]| المفلحون - (will be) the successful ones.| |

| ትክክለኛውም ሚዛን የዚያን ቀን ነው፡፡ ሚዛኖቻቸው የከበዱላቸው ሰዎችም እነዚያ እነርሱ የፈለጉትን ያገኙ ናቸው፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { والوزن } للأعمال أو لصحائفها بميزان له لسان وكتفان كما ورد في حديث كائن { يومئذ } أي يوم السؤال المذكور وهو يوم القيامة { الحق } العدل صفة الوزن { فمن ثقلت موازينه } بالحسنات { فأولئك هم المفلحون } الفائزون . |
| Awzan, assen, d tidep. Wid iwumi ééayet lweznat nnsen, widak d wid irebêen. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | আর সেদিন যথার্থই ওজন হবে। অতঃপর যাদের পাল্লা ভারী হবে, তারাই সফলকাম হবে। |
| Literal | And the weight/measure that day (is) the correct/deserved/just , so who his (whose) weights/measures became heavy, so those, they are the successful/winners. |
| Yusuf Ali | The balance that day will be true (to nicety): those whose scale (of good) will be heavy, will prosper: |
| Pickthal | The weighing on that day is the true (weighing). As for those whose scale is heavy, they are the successful. |
| Arberry | The weighing that day is true; he whose scales are heavy -- they are the prosperers, |
| Shakir | And the measuring out on that day will be just; then as for him whose measure (of good deeds) is heavy, those are they who shall be successful; |
| Sarwar | (Everyone's deeds) will certainly be weighed (and evaluated) on the Day of Judgment. Those whose good deeds weigh heavier than their bad deeds will have everlasting happiness. |
| H/K/Saheeh | And the weighing [of deeds] that Day will be the truth. So those whose scales are heavy it is they who will be the successful. |
| Malik | On that Day, the scale of justice shall be established. Those whose scale of good deeds will be heavy, they are the ones who will attain felicity,[8] |
| Maulana Ali** | And the judging on that day will be just; so as for those whose good deeds are heavy, they are the successful. |
| Free Minds | And the scales on that Day will be the truth. Whoever has heavy weights, then these are the successful ones. |

| George Sale | The weighing of mens actions on that day shall be just; and they whose balances laden with their good works shall be heavy, are those who shall be happy; |

| Asad | And true will be the weighing on that Day; and those whose weight [of good deeds] is heavy in the balance -it is they, they who shall attain to a happy state; |
