1 [7:77] | FaAAaqaroo alnnaqata waAAatawAAan amri rabbihim waqaloo ya salihui/tina bima taAAiduna in kunta minaalmursaleena
| فعقروا الناقة وعتوا عن أمر ربهم وقالوا يا صالح ائتنا بما تعدنا إن كنت من المرسلين فَعَقَرُواْ النَّاقَةَ وَعَتَوْاْ عَنْ أَمْرِ رَبِّهِمْ وَقَالُواْ يَا صَالِحُ ائْتِنَا بِمَا تَعِدُنَا إِن كُنتَ مِنَ الْمُرْسَلِينَ |
Words | |فعقروا - Then they hamstrung| الناقة - the she-camel| وعتوا - and (were) insolent| عن - towards| أمر - (the) command| ربهم - (of) their Lord| وقالوا - and they said,| يا - O| صالح - "O Salih!| ائتنا - Bring us| بما - what| تعدنا - you promise us| إن - if| كنت - you are| من - of| المرسلين - the Messengers."| |

| ወዲያውም ግመሊቱን ወጓት፡፡ ከጌታቸውም ትዕዛዝ ወጡ፡፡ አሉም፡- «ሷሊህ ሆይ! ከመልክተኞቹ እንደኾንክ የምታስፈራራብንን (ቅጣት) አምጣብን፡፡» |
آل الجلالين | وكانت الناقة لها يوم في الماء ولهم يوم فملوا ذلك { فعقروا الناقة } عقرها قدار بأمرهم بأن قتلها بالسيف { وعتوا عن أمر ربهم وقالوا يا صالح ائتنا بما تعدنا } به من العذاب على قتلها { إن كنت من المرسلين } . |

মুহিউদ্দীন খান | অতঃপর তারা উষ্ট্রীকে হত্যা করল এবং স্বীয় প্রতিপালকের আদেশ অমান্য করল। তারা বললঃ হে ছালেহ, নিয়ে এস যদ্দ্বারা আমাদেরকে ভয় দেখাতে, যদি তুমি রসূল হয়ে থাক। |
Literal | So they wounded/slaughtered/made the female camel infertile and they became arrogant/disobedient from their Lord's order/command, and they said: "You Saleh, come/bring to us with what you promise us if you are from the messengers." |
Yusuf Ali | Then they ham-strung the she-camel, and insolently defied the order of their Lord, saying: "O Salih! bring about thy threats, if thou art a messenger (of Allah)!" |
