بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ

Fama kana daAAwahum ithjaahum ba/suna illa an qaloo innakunna thalimeena فما كان دعواهم إذ جاءهم بأسنا إلا أن قالوا إنا كنا ظالمين
فَمَا كَانَ دَعْوَاهُمْ إِذْ جَاءَهُمْ بَأْسُنَا إِلاَّ أَن قَالُواْ إِنَّا كُنَّا ظَالِمِينَ
 Words|فما - Then not| كان - was| دعواهم - their plea| إذ - when| جاءهم - came to them| بأسنا - Our punishment| إلا - except| أن - that| قالوا - they said,| إنا - "Indeed, we| كنا - were| ظالمين - wrongdoers."|

ቅጣታችንም በመጣባቸው ጊዜ «ጸሎታቸው እኛ በደለኞች ነበርን» ከማለት በቀር ሌላ አልነበረም፡፡
آل الجلالين{ فما كان دعواهم } قولهم { إذ جاءهم بأسنا إلا أن قالوا إنا كنا ظالمين } .
Ti$ôi nnsen, mi ten id tusa tiyta nne£, siwa mi d nnan: "ih, nella d imednas".
মুহিউদ্দীন খানঅনন্তর যখন তাদের কাছে আমার আযাব উপস্থিত হয়, তখন তাদের কথা এই ছিল যে, তারা বললঃ নিশ্চয় আমরা অত্যাচারী ছিলাম।
LiteralSo their call/prayer when/if Our might/power came to them was not except that they said: "We were unjust/oppressive ."
Yusuf AliWhen (thus) Our punishment took them, no cry did they utter but this: "Indeed we did wrong."
PickthalNo plea had they, when Our terror came unto them, save that they said: Lo! We were wrong-doers.
Arberry and they but cried, when Our might came upon there, 'We were evildoers.';

QXP Shabbir Ahemd**They had no plea when Our Requital came to them, but they said, "We were indeed unjust, and used to oppress the vulnerable."
Ja rangaistuksemme kohdatessa heidät eivät he voineet muuta sanoa puolustuksekseen kuin: »Olemme totisesti väärintekijöitä!»
Na da a miyabaloy a daowa iran gowani ko makawma kiran so siksa Ami, a rowar sa kiyatharo iran: "Sa mataan! a skami na miyabaloy kami a manga darowaka."
Ahmed Raza Khanتو ان کے منہ سے کچھ نہ نکلا جب ہمارا عذاب ان پر آیا مگر یہی بولے کہ ہم ظالم تھے

Mehmood Al Hassanپھر یہی تھی ان کی پکار جس وقت کہ پہنچا ان پر ہمارا عذاب کہ کہنے لگے بیشک ہمی تھے گنہگار
Abul Ala Maududiاور جب ہمارا عذاب اُن پر آ گیا تو ان کی زبان پر اِس کے سوا کوئی صدا نہ تھی کہ واقعی ہم ظالم تھے
Ahmed Aliجس وقت ان پر ہمارا عذاب آیا پھر ان کی یہی پکار تھی کہتے تھے بے شک ہم ہی ظالم تھے
