| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[7:16] | Qala fabima aghwaytaneelaaqAAudanna lahum sirataka almustaqeema
|  قال فبما أغويتني لأقعدن لهم صراطك المستقيم
قَالَ فَبِمَا أَغْوَيْتَنِي لَأَقْعُدَنَّ لَهُمْ صِرَاطَكَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ |
| Words | |قال - (Shaitaan) said,| فبما - "Because| أغويتني - You have sent me astray,| لأقعدن - surely I will sit| لهم - for them| صراطك - (on) Your path,| المستقيم - the straight.| |

| «ስለአጠመምከኝም ለእነርሱ በቀጥተኛው መንገድ ላይ በእርግጥ እቀመጥባቸዋለሁ» አለ፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { قال فبما أغويتني } أي بإغوائك لي والياء للقسم وجوابه { لأقعدن لهم } أي لبني آدم { صراطك المستقيم } أي على الطريق الموصل إليك . |

| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | সে বললঃ আপনি আমাকে যেমন উদভ্রান্ত করেছেন, আমিও অবশ্য তাদের জন্যে আপনার সরল পথে বসে থাকবো। |
| Literal | He (the devil) said: "So with what you misguided/enticed me , I will sit/remain (E) for them (in) Your straight/direct road/way." |
