بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

1 [68:43] | KhashiAAatan absaruhumtarhaquhum thillatun waqad kanoo yudAAawna ilaalssujoodi wahum salimoona
| خاشعة أبصارهم ترهقهم ذلة وقد كانوا يدعون إلى السجود وهم سالمون خَاشِعَةً أَبْصَارُهُمْ تَرْهَقُهُمْ ذِلَّةٌ وَقَدْ كَانُوا يُدْعَوْنَ إِلَى السُّجُودِ وَهُمْ سَالِمُونَ |
Words | |خاشعة - Humbled,| أبصارهم - their eyes,| ترهقهم - will cover them| ذلة - humiliation.| وقد - And indeed,| كانوا - they were| يدعون - called| إلى - to| السجود - prostrate| وهم - while they| سالمون - (were) sound.| |

| ዓይኖቻቸው የፈሩ ውርደት የምትሸፍናቸው ሲኾኑ፤ (ወደ ስግደት የሚጠሩበትን)፤ እነርሱም (በምድረ ዓለም) ደህና ኾነው ሳሉ ወደ ስግደት በእርግጥ ይጠሩ ነበሩ፡፡ |
آل الجلالين | { خاشعة } حال من ضمير يدعون، أي ذليلة { أبصارهم } لا يرفعونها { ترهقهم } تغشاهم { ذلة وقد كانوا يدعوْن } في الدنيا { إلى السجود وهم سالمون } فلا يأتون به بأن لا يصلوا. |
| Ad brunt wallen, ddell iwwet iten. Ni$ pwanecden ar lekni, mi llan ûeêêan. |
মুহিউদ্দীন খান | তাদের দৃষ্টি অবনত থাকবে; তারা লাঞ্ছনাগ্রস্ত হবে, অথচ যখন তারা সুস্থ ও স্বাভাবিক অবস্থায় ছিল, তখন তাদেরকে সেজদা করতে আহবান জানানো হত। |
Literal | Their eyesights/understanding (are) humble/submissive , humiliation/disgrace burdens/depresses them , and they had become being called repeatedly to the prostration and they are safe/secure. |
Yusuf Ali | Their eyes will be cast down,- ignominy will cover them; seeing that they had been summoned aforetime to bow in adoration, while they were whole, (and had refused). |
Pickthal | With eyes downcast, abasement stupefying them. And they had been summoned to prostrate themselves while they were yet unhurt. |
Arberry | humbled shall be their eyes, and abasement shall overspread them, for they had been summoned to bow themselves while they were whole. |
