| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[6:27] | Walaw tara ith wuqifoo AAalaalnnari faqaloo ya laytananuraddu wala nukaththiba bi-ayatirabbina wanakoona mina almu/mineena
|  ولو ترى إذ وقفوا على النار فقالوا يا ليتنا نرد ولا نكذب بآيات ربنا ونكون من المؤمنين
وَلَوْ تَرَى إِذْ وُقِفُواْ عَلَى النَّارِ فَقَالُواْ يَا لَيْتَنَا نُرَدُّ وَلاَ نُكَذِّبَ بِآيَاتِ رَبِّنَا وَنَكُونَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ |
| Words | |ولو - And if| ترى - you (could) see| إذ - when| وقفوا - they are made to stand| على - by| النار - the Fire| فقالوا - then they (will) say,| يا - O| ليتنا - "Oh! Would that we| نرد - were sent back| ولا - and not| نكذب - we would deny| بآيات - (the) Signs| ربنا - (of) our Lord| ونكون - and we would be| من - among| المؤمنين - the believers."| |

| በእሳትም ላይ በተቆሙ ጊዜ ምነው (ወደ ምድረ ዓለም) በተመለስን በጌታችንም አንቀጾች ባላስተባበልን ከምእምናንም በኾንን ዋ ምኞታችን! ባሉ ጊዜ ብታይ ኖሮ (የሚያሰደነግጥን ነገር ባየህ ነበር)፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { ولو ترى } يا محمد { إذ وُقفوا } عرضوا { على النار فقالوا يا } للتنبيه { ليتنا نردُّ } إلى الدنيا { ولا نكذِّبُ بآيات ربنا ونكونُ من المؤمنين } برفع الفعلين إستئنافا ونصبهما في جواب التمني ورفع الأول ونصب الثاني وجواب لو رأيت أمرا عظيما . |

| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | আর আপনি যদি দেখেন, যখন তাদেরকে দোযখের উপর দাঁড় করানো হবে! তারা বলবেঃ কতই না ভাল হত, যদি আমরা পুনঃ প্রেরিত হতাম; তা হলে আমরা স্বীয় পালনকর্তার নিদর্শনসমূহে মিথ্যারোপ করতাম না এবং আমরা বিশ্বাসীদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হয়ে যেতাম। |
| Literal | And if you see/understand, if they were suspended/stood on the fire, so they said: "Oh, if only we be returned and we not lie/deny/falsify with our Lord's verses/evidences, and we be from the believers." |
